Under the blazing Kenyan sun, Maasai women patrol the vast plains in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, determined to protect wildlife and tackle poachers. But for many, fighting age-old prejudices within their community is just as important.

01:42 that's what they think, but it's not true.
01:46 They also believe that a woman is only supposed to be staying at home,
01:51 giving birth, milking the cows and goats, going for firewood and water.
01:57 So that's the perception that I wanted to change.
