Marcos eyes expanded defense cooperation with Germany

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 (local time) deliver a joint press statement after their meeting here at The Chancellery in Berlin. In his remarks, President Marcos expressed the Philippine government’s openness to expand defense cooperation with Germany "that goes beyond training and into new areas such as cyber and maritime domains."
