00:21 Yeah, thanks for inviting me.
00:23 So I want to get started with delving into a little bit about you and why you wanted
00:27 to be a designer.
00:29 So I actually just fell into fashion design so I went to school for graphic design and
00:35 I started doing like graphic t-shirts because I love wearing graphic t-shirts and leggings.
00:41 And then I thrifted this really cool fabric and I made a kimono and taught myself how
00:49 to sew and here I am.
00:51 So you're totally self-taught.
00:52 This came about super organically which is really incredible.
00:56 How did you start working with Shein because they are such a huge online global marketplace.
01:01 What led you into that?
01:02 Yeah, so I started working with Shein because they found me on Instagram so I was like posting
01:07 about the clothes that I made, not really selling, just making for fun and then they
01:12 reached out on Instagram and I was like, oh this isn't real because Shein is such a huge.
01:18 You were like not sure if it was maybe a scam, but you went with it.
01:23 And now this is your third collection with them, right?
01:26 That's correct, yes.
01:27 Three.
01:28 I've been going for like two and a half, three years I've been designing for them.
01:31 That's amazing.
01:32 And so the incubator program really allows you to try new things, to express yourself
01:39 and then people can truly go on Shein's website and shop your brand.
01:43 Yes, absolutely.
01:45 So my brand I really love and I'm very size inclusive so very huge variety and I love
01:51 the funky, fun aspect of it because clothes should be fun.
01:55 Well, okay, so let's talk a little bit about what you're wearing because we're also going
01:59 to bring our models in here in just a second, but your outfit is a showstopper so quickly
02:03 tell me about it.
02:04 Yeah, so this is a pattern from my first collection actually and I wanted to do like a jumpsuit
02:11 that's like fun and that you can go to festivals with but also wear like every day.
02:17 Totally.
02:18 So yeah, I have very wide leg, love the wide leg look that's very popular and then you
02:23 have the earrings to go along with it.
02:25 So this is a very cool vibe.
02:27 I really am loving all of this but speaking of this vibe, let's get into our models that
02:31 we have today.
02:32 So Alexandra, step back here with me and we'll invite our first model to come out and this
02:39 is our first beautiful model that is wearing one of your designs.
02:43 Tell us a little bit about what she's wearing.
02:44 So this is a piece from the Evolution collection.
02:48 So this is actually made from recycled materials.
02:53 So she is making an effort towards sustainability which is really awesome and I'm very grateful
02:58 to be a part of that.
02:59 And I know that's a big point for you.
03:01 Yes, absolutely.
03:02 So it's very fun, colorful, festive outfits for raves, festivals or even like going to
03:09 the beach.
03:10 Totally, you can wear this anywhere.
03:12 I love the wide legs, I love the wide sleeves as well.
03:16 This looks super comfortable, super cozy and great for spring and summer.
03:20 Yeah, exactly.
03:21 Okay, thank you so much to our first model.

03:25 Let's bring out our second model.
03:26 So this to me looks like a very similar pattern to what you're wearing.
03:30 Yes, so this design is actually from my first collection two and a half years ago.
03:37 So I did this in a plus size version and I got so much positive feedback that I decided
03:43 to make pretty much every size of it.
03:45 And so this is the like smaller size but it's very fun, funky and edgy.
03:51 I love that you have the two pieces that always kind of coincide, that go together.
03:56 They're very fun, like you said, kind of things to wear to a music festival.
03:59 But again, you could wear this out every day with like a graphic shirt if you wanted to
04:02 wear just the shorts or something like that.
04:04 Tell me about the arm piece.
04:05 Is that your design as well?
04:07 No, this is actually a piece that you can buy individually from Shein.
04:11 I love accessories.
04:12 So I just wanted to give a little bit more to the outfit.
04:17 A little something extra, a little pop.
04:18 Well this outfit definitely pops, both of them do.
04:21 And our second model can go ahead and join over there.
