00:00 Former Alabama running back and current Tennessee Titan Derrick Henry is set to hit free agency next
00:04 week for the first time in his eight-year career. The bruising back who's just 498 yards short of
00:10 10,000 on his career will likely be searching for a new home this offseason. Though Henry has been
00:15 one of the top backs in the NFL and has shown little to no signs of slowing down, the breakout
00:20 of rookie running back Tajay Spears leaves Tennessee with a major question on its hands.
00:24 For a team who's likely entering the second year of a lengthy rebuild, getting younger and cheaper
00:28 across the board is an appealing option as the two-time rushing leader will command a hefty
00:32 price tag for a running back in today's NFL. Not to mention, Dallas area realtor Les Stacks
00:38 recently posted that Henry bought a new house in Dallas so it's possible that his free agency
00:43 plans have already been revealed. If Henry were to sign with the Cowboys, Dallas immediately becomes
00:48 a much more serious Super Bowl contender after a disappointing end to the 2023 season. Henry could
00:53 provide an offensive spark to a team that already had one of the league's top units last year.
00:58 Only time will tell if Henry will be joining a new team this offseason,
01:01 but at this point it seems all but certain he's taking his last snap in Nashville.
