00:03 I'm gonna start Joe this week with my outrights.
00:07 And look, we need somebody to hit here.
00:09 We've had bombs every single week.
00:12 And this has been a course that typically over the past couple of years,
00:17 the stars, the cream rises to the top at this place.
00:21 Whether it was Sheffler has won here, Rory has played extremely well here.
00:25 And last year, Kitayama won.
00:27 But if you look at the rest of the top five, top ten, all very big names.
00:31 So I'm hoping Joe that we can get a bit of a breakthrough here.
00:33 I'm going with Jordan Spieth at 22 to 1.
00:36 Spieth has some good finishes here, top fives, top tens.
00:39 And I'm looking for him to win for the first time in a couple years.
00:42 Justin Thomas at 28 to 1.
00:44 Matthew Fitzpatrick again being priced at 35 to 1, has a bunch of good finishes.
00:48 Willie Z has played well this year.
00:52 And that's why we're jumping back on the Willie Z train at 35 to 1.
00:55 Sahith DeGalla at 75 to 1.
00:59 And the big bomb I'll go with, because it's been big bombs so far this year,
01:03 is dangerous Denny McCarthy at 120 to 1.
01:08 Need somebody who keeps it in the middle.
01:10 Need somebody who's good with the irons.
01:12 Need someone who can putt.
01:14 Denny does a little bit, all three of those very well, including putting Joe.
01:17 So that's who I'm going with this week.
01:20 I'm probably gonna get talked into a few other guys.
01:22 It's hard with Scheffler and with Rory, because as you know, Joe,
01:26 I don't play anybody under 10 to 1.
01:29 As good as they are, I just can't do it with four rounds of golf left to go.
01:33 Maybe we can get them live at some point.
01:35 Joe's gonna be going a little deeper down the card with the API this week.
01:41 Right, Joe, a little deeper for you.
01:43 The guys up there, Carver, are solid picks.
01:46 I'm not gonna, you know, I'm not gonna--
01:47 they're not on my card.
01:48 Thank you.
01:49 Well, I know they're not on your card.
01:51 I know they're not on your card.
01:52 I mean, that Willie Z, I mean, you play Willie Z each and every week,
01:55 even though I put him on the map a couple years ago.
01:58 If you play him every week, Joe, and eventually he hits a 3--
02:01 you know, at 35 to 1 or 40 to 1, you're probably
02:05 still going to be ahead of the game.
02:07 And we don't play him every week.
02:08 We pick our spots.
02:09 That's what we do.
02:10 I don't like Fitzpatrick's short game.
02:12 I don't think he's good with the irons.
02:15 And I think he might struggle if he gets into the rough.
02:19 That's what I'm concerned about Fitzpatrick.
02:22 Throw me a 1D bomb for this tournament.
02:24 -I got two. -Throw me a 1D.
02:25 -I got two. -OK, give me two.
02:26 Go ahead.
02:27 Dangerous Cam Davis, OK?
02:30 At 120 to 1.
02:31 I like Cam Davis.
02:33 I think he's coming in with the proper mental fortitude
02:36 for this type of event.
02:37 It's an elevated event.
02:39 We know that he's been knocked down in recent tournaments.
02:42 But I think this is a spot where he could step up.
02:45 And then obviously the old timer, Justin Rose.
02:48 I think he's ripe at 120 to 1 as well.
02:51 He's got the championship pedigree.
02:54 He's been back in the gym.
02:55 Back feels good.
02:57 No ailments heading into this tournament.
02:59 And we know we could drive with the best of them.
03:01 I mean, Justin Rose.
03:03 I mean, you know, he's going to be on the fairway in the greens.
03:07 Block two, lie three.
03:09 Come on.
03:11 (upbeat music)
