00:00 So, Joanne, tell us a little bit about the upcoming show here at the Customs House.
00:05 So, for Easter we are putting on Little Red Riding Hood. We did do Little Red Riding Hood about 11 years ago at Christmas.
00:13 So, for Easter we're putting Little Red on. It's a lovely pantomime.
00:17 It's got everything that you would expect from a Customs House pantomime.
00:22 There's going to be some great music, we're going to have the infamous slop scene, gorgeous costumes and get your tickets. It's going to be really good.
00:31 So, this is your first time directing here. So, how has that been different to acting?
00:37 It's a nice change. It's my first time directing a pantomime. I've put on concerts and specials and things like that.
00:44 But as far as it being a full-length pantomime, it's my first one.
00:48 It's really interesting to get on the other side of things and I'm really looking forward to it.
00:54 So, I can take a step back and see the whole picture. Whereas when you're in it, you don't see the whole picture.
01:00 So, what does it mean to direct a show here at the Customs House? You've said that you've spent around 20 years here acting.
01:06 So, it's kind of different for you to be doing the directing side here.
01:10 It's great because I'm on the total other side of performing. I would never have thought when I did my first pantomime here in 2003 that I'd be directing one of them.
01:26 Back then as well, we didn't do Easter shows. It was always just Christmas. But things change and now we're doing one at Easter. I'm really looking forward to it.
01:35 And why would you encourage the public to come along and see the show?
01:39 The weather's still not great, so why not get your tickets? Come inside and have a great night of fun. It's going to be hilarious.
01:47 We've got a fantastic cast. The cast are absolutely stellar. I'm really looking forward to working with all of them.
