00:00 Have you ever been in a court storming and how do you think that those should be disciplined?
00:05 It's a good question. We don't storm the court here. We expect to win big games. We've won a
00:12 lot of big games here and I actually love the fact that our fans are unbelievably great and
00:18 give us a great environment during the game and then act like we've been there and done that
00:22 after we beat plenty of good teams in this building since I've been here. So
00:29 I like the way it's been here. When I was at Buffalo and we were ranked 14th in the country
00:36 playing in the MAAC, you know, there was top 25 teams. You don't get very many home games against
00:43 top 25 teams in the MAAC. So we had some court stormings there and we were involved with one
00:48 last year when we were number one in the country at A&M. So what we did at A&M last year is,
00:55 you know, the league title had already been determined. So we'd already won the league.
01:00 We went there. We were trying to win. It's not like we gave them a win. But we let their staff
01:06 know that if they, you know, if they ended up winning the game, which is what happened,
01:11 they ended up winning that we were not going to stick around and shake hands,
01:14 that we were getting off the court immediately, which is what happened. So we got everybody out
01:21 as the buzzer was sounded and avoided any issues with the court storming. I mean, I'll say this,
01:28 like college sports is different than professional sports. The court storming, you know,
01:35 is something that's kind of lined up just with colleges that if players are getting hurt in it,
01:41 they do something about it. So whether it's, you know, somehow eliminated,
01:49 and we've done a great job here of never storming the court. Like I said, they'll like
01:53 Alabama sports in general expects to win big games. Football's won a bunch of national
01:58 championships. They had five or six different sports and won national championships. Like we
02:03 expect to win around here. Some other places that winning a big game doesn't happen very often. They
02:09 feel like they need to celebrate. Like if you know what's coming, get the kids off the court,
02:15 but the handshake line at the end, it's not disrespectful in my opinion, if you let them
02:20 know before, I mean, I let, we let coach Williams know before that we weren't going to shake hands
02:24 if they ended up winning the game just to avoid any kind of situations like what happened last week.
