00:00 >> I'm excited to see what they're gonna do this year.
00:01 >> Mike, you are able to do the after Mike McDonald's last week.
00:05 Do you have any expectations for him when he was in the staff?
00:08 How does he feel about the future of the league for
00:12 the next month and a half?
00:14 >> Yeah, I know Coach McDonald's a great coach.
00:17 Just competing against his defense, the spring ball in camp, and
00:20 just seeing what he was able to get those guys to do during the season.
00:24 I just know he's a great coach, so playing for him would be awesome.
00:27 It would be an honor.
00:28 But yeah, during his time at Michigan, I would joke around with him and
00:32 the defensive coaches there saying, whenever you guys need me on defense,
00:35 just let me know.
00:35 I'll come over and take a few reps in game, practice, whatever it is.
00:39 >> Have you met with him?
00:41 >> I haven't met with him, but I've met with the Seahawks.
00:42 >> Have you met with the Packers?
00:44 >> No, not for me right now.
00:47 >> Mike, do you talk with Charles Woodson-Mutz, and
00:49 has he reached out to you during this process?
00:51 >> Not during this process, but
00:52 I did speak to him a few times during the season and before the season.
00:56 >> What does he mean to you?
00:57 >> What does he mean to me?
00:58 From a leadership standpoint, he gave me a few tips on how to hold guys accountable.
01:05 And just the legacy he left at Michigan is one to,
01:08 you wanna live up to that legacy.
01:12 He was a great DB, he was a great two-way guy.
01:14 Someone that, what I do, I can say I model what he did.
01:20 I didn't get the chance to go back and play offense how he did.
01:23 Probably if I did, I would have been in the same conversation as him.
01:26 But just a guy like him, he means a lot to the program,
01:29 means a lot to people with the athletic ability that I have.
01:32 >> How would you describe your play style as that being?
01:36 >> Just very instinctual.
01:38 Like I said earlier, just being somebody who knows how to find the football,
01:41 whether it's in the air or on the ground.
01:42 I'm just, I would say, very instinctual.
01:46 >> Is that something you had to pick up on quickly with making the transition?
