00:00 salary cap number now, how does that impact free agency?
00:04 And I know last, like five years ago, the whole thing was
00:08 keep your own. Is that kind of where you're leaning now?
00:11 Or is it...
00:13 Well, yeah, I won't get into our strategies for roster building,
00:17 you know, but I will tell you that if there's more money,
00:21 there's more opportunity to add people. And that's just the reality of it is
00:25 about it. There's also more opportunity for the other
00:28 31 teams to add people to. So, you know, it maybe provides a little
00:34 flexibility. Hopefully, you know, if you're
00:38 talking about the same people just being paid more, it doesn't really benefit the
00:41 club. But as long as we can use those
00:44 dollars to maybe supplement what we would have otherwise done,
00:48 then I think it is a benefit to us. Is the priority keeping your own?
00:53 Again, I won't go into all of our roster building
00:57 plans as we go, but we do like our players and
01:00 there's a number of them that we'd like to have back.
01:03 Could potentially have an opening at right tackle? I know they asked you about the tight ends kind of being a
01:07 revolving door. With that position, you've had starters at
01:11 different starters every year in the last couple of years.
01:14 Are you guys hoping to be able to find more of a long-term
01:17 answer at that position? Are you comfortable with the strategy that you guys have had over the last couple of years?
01:22 Well, as the NFL has evolved, the term long-term
01:27 isn't as long as it used to be considered. But yes,
01:30 we would like to have somebody man the right tackle spot for a number of years.
01:35 Yes, we'd like it to be a young guy that
01:38 can come in and do that or a veteran that
01:41 might have the opportunity to rebuild his career or something.
01:45 But yes, we would like that to be manned on multiple fronts,
01:49 but we're concerned with having it manned well enough to
01:52 provide us a chance to win next year. You know, that's the number one thing.
01:56 And whether that's a rookie on a four-year deal or a veteran on a
02:00 one-year deal, we're open to anything there.
