00:12 Lap has been effusive in his praise

00:16 for Tierre Tartt going into those games.

00:19 It's always like, you know,

00:20 Jeffrey Simmons is incredible,

00:22 but I really like this Tierre Tartt.

00:24 And when Lap says something like that,

00:26 it really resonates with me

00:28 because he studies the tape.

00:30 He sees things that, you know,

00:32 we don't pick up on,

00:33 or maybe pro football focus

00:35 isn't always the best gauge of.

00:37 So when Lap likes a guy, I tend to like a guy.

00:41 But you're right, last year was strange.

00:43 Tennessee lets him go late in the season.

00:46 All of the reports out of Tennessee was, you know,

00:48 it was due to effort and attitude.

00:50 You never like to hear that.

00:52 Now, the Bengals will do their research

00:54 and determine what was at the bottom of that.

00:59 you know, maximize his value in free agency

01:01 and not getting as much playing time as he wanted?

01:04 Based on what I've read,

01:06 that seemed to be at the heart of the issue.

01:08 But any time you hear that a player was let go

01:11 late in the season for those reasons,

01:13 it raises red flags that they have to get to the bottom of

01:16 before they try to sign him as a free agent.
