Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner speaks to reporters at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.
Transcript
00:00 Dallas, talk to me a little bit about watching your own film.
00:03 What would you say is the part that you critique the most about your own film
00:06 that you feel like can reach a new level at the NFL?
00:08 >> Honestly, I feel like I'm the type of person I can never get a place in.
00:11 So even if I have a good game,
00:12 I'm gonna still always find something that I need to work on and stuff like that.
00:16 So just really everything, I try and get better every day.
00:20 Try and get better than I was yesterday for sure.
00:22 But it's a whole lot of things I can pick up.
00:25 >> Thanks.
00:25 What would it mean for you to be the first pass on your payday in the draft?
00:29 >> It'd be an honor.
00:30 Hopefully I get to take advantage of the opportunity.
00:34 Based on the years and stuff like that, it's gonna be a blessing.
00:37 >> Take us through your weight journey while you were in Alabama.
00:40 What weight were you playing at last year and what weight did you play at this year?
00:44 And then how did that make you change your style?
00:47 >> So the weight journey in Alabama was crazy.
00:50 Coming in, I was 260 pounds, but that was a COVID-19 260 pounds.
00:55 So fluctuated, played my freshman year at 240,
00:59 my sophomore year at 245, and my junior year at 255.
01:04 But probably the best weight I had was probably my 255.
