00:11 Part of the preparations for the upcoming season includes offering scholarships to the

00:17 New Alabama head coach Kaylin DeBoer has offered a scholarship to a prospect that Alabama fans
00:23 will be very familiar with, at least in name.
00:26 Bo Jackson was offered a scholarship yesterday, running back Bo Jackson was offered a scholarship,
00:31 not Vincent Bo Jackson out of McAdory High School in Alabama, but Lamar Bo Jackson out
00:36 of Villa Angela St. Joseph's High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
00:40 He's a class of 2025 prospect, a rising senior, and 24/7 Sports considers him a four-star
00:46 prospect.
00:47 The 24/7 Sports composite lists him as the fifth best player in the state of Ohio, the
00:52 eighth best running back in the class, and the 101st best player in the entire class
00:57 of 2025.
00:59 Bo Jackson had 1,700 all-purpose yards and 28 touchdowns for Villa Angela St. Joseph's
01:05 last year, leading them to a 9-4 season.
01:08 He's a highly sought-after prospect.
01:10 He has over 20 scholarship offers from many high-level programs already.
01:15 So to see him get an offer from the University of Alabama falls right in line with his pedigree
01:20 and his talent.
01:21 He already has several unofficial visits scheduled for the spring and early summer.
01:25 The Crimson Tide not currently on the list, but yesterday's scholarship offer a great
01:30 first step.
01:31 He plans on visiting Florida, Clemson, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Indiana, Ohio State, Tennessee,
01:37 Florida State, Texas, and Oregon already, and we'll see if the Crimson Tide gets on
01:42 that list.
01:43 Alabama already has a running back committed in the 2025 class.
01:47 One of two commitments in the 2025 class, Anthony "Turbo" Rogers.
01:51 He is considered the fourth best running back in the class, so a little bit better than
01:56 Lamar Bo Jackson, but perhaps has a little bit to do with the fact that he was at IMG

02:02 Anthony Rogers transfers to Carver High School in Montgomery, so he's back playing in the
02:07 state of Alabama for his senior year.
02:10 We'll see if the Crimson Tide can secure one or both of the running backs in the 2025 class.
