00:00 From 44th Street in Camelback, this is the Arizona Daily Mix.
00:06 And it all starts right now.
00:09 Good morning, good morning and welcome to the Arizona Daily Mix.
00:16 It is Tuesday, February 27th.
00:20 That it is.
00:21 Two more days to March 1st.
00:23 And of course, it's a leap year as we figured out that we get an extra day in this month.
00:28 That's great. I'll take it.
00:30 I'm Brent Perry.
00:31 I'm Lexi Romano.
00:32 Okay, today on the show, are you a spring, summer, winter?
00:37 Well, I'm not talking about your favorite season. I'm talking about your color complements.
00:42 House of Colors is here to help you analyze what your season is.
00:46 Okay, I'm so excited about this because I've been seeing this all over social media.
00:50 Everybody's talking about it on Instagram, on TikTok.
00:53 And I was like, I think I know what my colors are.
00:57 But I wanted to bring her in because she said she can't do an actual full analysis on me because the lighting isn't quite right.
01:04 I already have makeup on my face.
01:06 So there are things that she can kind of take a guess, but she's not going to be able to do like the full thing for me.
01:11 But do you wear those colors?
01:13 I try to.
01:14 Do you?
01:15 I try to.
01:16 Okay, because I know like some people go, my color's blue, but you never see them in it, you know?
01:19 I think, well, I definitely think I'm one of those people that I look better in darker, solid colors.
01:24 Yeah.
01:25 I don't know.
01:26 I think you can do bright colors.
01:27 You know, I'm actually, pink is starting to be pretty good.
01:30 You're probably a summer.
01:31 You think so?
01:32 I think you're a summer, Brad.
01:33 We'll have to ask her, too.
01:34 We'll have to ask her.
01:35 We'll see.
01:36 All right, well, I know what my favorite season is, and that is brunch season.
01:40 Oh, yes.
01:41 Yum, yum.
01:42 And we're heading out to Wine Girl.
01:43 I mean, is this place literally named after me?
01:44 Is this place me?
01:45 To check out their new Brunch Fights menu.
01:48 So this place is so cute, so vibey.
01:51 I mean, look, there's already people there sipping on coffee, having drinks.
01:55 Look at how stinking cute this place is.
01:57 I love it.
01:58 You were kind of listing off some of the things they have, and we were going to talk about.
02:00 Did I see cereal on there?
02:01 Did they have cereal or no?
02:03 Peanut Butter Crunch?
02:04 Yes.
02:05 So that's, you know, I was just--
02:06 Yeah?
02:07 These are their Brunch Fights.
02:08 Yeah.
02:09 So we're going to talk about that in a minute.
02:10 Just in the grocery store, I'm like, we've got to bring back cereal.
02:12 We don't really--
02:13 Did cereal go anywhere?
02:14 Yeah, it has.
02:15 What?
02:16 It just appeared.
02:17 You don't see cereal commercials anymore.
02:18 No way.
02:19 You really don't see people talking about it.
02:20 I'm sorry.
02:21 I want to bring back cereal.
02:22 I was going to say--
02:23 I am a cereal aficionado.
02:24 I-- cereal never left in my world.
02:27 You know what?
02:28 Let's do a cereal morning.
02:29 We'll just go and get a bunch of cereal, and we'll just try cereal like throughout the day.
02:33 Can we get someone to sponsor this?
02:35 Someone call-- what is it?
02:36 Post?
02:37 Kellogg's?
02:38 Yeah, there you go.
02:39 I'll call Kellogg's.
02:40 That's in my hometown.
02:41 So OK.
02:42 Bring it on.
02:43 If you've ever seen the show, you know how I feel about birds.
02:44 Yeah.
02:45 But I'll tell you, I'm going to set it all aside because this is for a very good cause.
02:49 We're going to be talking to Lauren Hackett about wildlife, Liberty Wildlife, and their
02:56 special event they have coming up.
02:58 I'm nervous now because now I'm like going, this is a beautiful-- ah, I didn't see her
03:02 pull it out.
03:03 I'm just going to let you know.
03:04 I thought for a second that you were going to say, have you ever seen the show "Birds"?
03:08 Oh, the--
03:09 The movie.
03:10 The movie "Birds."
03:11 Have you ever seen that movie?
03:12 Yes, I have.
03:13 I've seen "Birds of Prey."
03:14 I've seen--
03:15 That movie is so scary.
03:16 "Birds," like the old school Hitchcock one.
03:17 Yeah, Hitchcock one.
03:18 I've seen that one too.
03:19 That was-- yeah.
03:20 But we're not afraid of her because she is a beautiful, sweet, very gentle girl.
03:25 And she's with her trainer, so we're not going to be afraid today.
03:28 You will be the closest to her.
03:29 I believe in you.
03:30 You will be on the other side.
03:31 I believe in you.
03:32 The only way to conquer your fear is to face it.
03:35 I know.
03:36 And I faced it a lot of times.
03:37 And it still has not helped.
03:38 What did-- was it Roosevelt?
03:39 The only thing to fear is fear yourself?
03:40 Fear yourself.
03:41 Yes.
03:42 There you go.
03:43 The only thing to fear is not birds.
03:44 That's right.
03:45 You're good.
03:46 You're going to make it.
03:47 And that was "Dune," three hours.
03:48 Oh, yeah.
03:49 Three hours?
03:50 Yes.
03:51 So three hours of "Dune."
03:52 But it's the second part of "Dune."
03:54 So it's "Dune 2."
03:56 I highly recommend it.
03:57 It was a very good love story.
04:00 I know I'm going to-- I keep saying Zeta, right?
04:02 It's Zeta.
04:03 Zeta and Tom Holland?
04:05 Is that Tom Holland who was Wonka?
04:06 I'm not sure.
04:07 Who's the Wonka guy?
04:08 I don't know.
04:09 Oh, Timmy-- OK.
04:10 Timmy Chalamet.
04:11 Thank you.
04:12 Timmy Chalamet.
04:13 I don't know.
04:14 They all-- you know, all these young kids look all alike.
04:15 But he played a good role.
04:16 And I thought when I walked in, I thought it was Wonka 2.
04:19 Because he was up there on the big screen.
04:21 But no, it was "Dune."
04:22 You were like, is this "Dune?"
04:23 Is this Wonka?
04:24 Right.
04:25 I wasn't for sure.
04:26 There's sand.
04:27 There's candy.
04:28 Yay.
04:29 Yeah, because they just released Wonka on the streaming
04:30 service.
04:31 So I just kind of got pissed off.
04:32 But I do recommend you to watch "Dune 1" before going
04:34 and seeing "Dune 2" so that way you know what's going on.
04:36 Have you read the books?
04:37 I have not.
04:38 OK.
04:39 But I've seen the original movie.
04:40 Remember we were talking--
04:41 We were talking about this.
04:42 Yeah.
04:43 There's an original "Dune" movie.
04:44 I didn't know.
04:45 It was "Sting" and some other--
04:48 "Sting" and his long acting career.
04:51 Yes, very, very long.
04:52 I think it was two movies I think he did after--
04:54 I think he did "Dune" and then one other one that didn't go anywhere.
04:57 And then people were like, yeah, maybe not.
04:58 Yeah, let's go back.
04:59 Let's go back.
05:00 Just sing.
05:01 Just keep singing.
05:02 Sing and teach.
05:03 Sing and be a teacher.
05:04 Because that's where he started.
05:05 He was a teacher.
05:06 So that was interesting.
05:07 Oh, that's cool.
05:08 I didn't know that either.
05:09 You didn't know Sting was a teacher?
05:10 No, I didn't know that.
05:11 Yeah, he was a teacher.
05:12 A music teacher or just a regular--
05:13 I think he was--
05:14 He was a teacher.
05:15 He was a teacher.
05:16 He was a teacher.
05:17 He was a teacher.
05:18 And then he kind of like had a little band on the side.
05:19 Wow.
05:20 And then the band was getting bigger and they're like, guess I'll go--
05:21 He's like, I don't need to teach anymore.
05:22 I'm good.
05:23 So I'm a good-- yeah, that's it right there.
05:24 But it was good.
05:25 I love it.
05:26 Also, pretty much watching stuff.
05:27 I love watching your Instagram because you show off Arlo.
05:29 But the one that got me was you.
05:32 Do we have it, Alyssa?
05:33 Do we have it?
05:34 So--
05:35 OK, so this is me last night.
05:36 Yes.
05:37 So obviously, we have had Arizona Facial Plastics on the show before.
05:39 So I was doing a little video for them.
05:41 But Brad brought up-- he was like, are you in your kitchen?
05:43 I was like, yes, I am in my kitchen because you guys, our bathroom remodel is still not finished.
05:50 So the guys are coming today to put in, hopefully, the last pieces.
05:55 And yes, my skin looks great after using that-- using that stuff from Arizona.
05:58 Was that refreshed?
05:59 Or what was that?
06:00 It was refreshed.
06:01 Refreshed.
06:02 Yeah, that's what I used too.
06:03 But yeah, we are still brushing our teeth, washing our faces, washing our hands, doing
06:06 everything in the kitchen sink because both bathroom sinks are still not in.
06:11 And in fact, I said to Alyssa, oh, we'll do a before and after reveal tomorrow.
06:16 But actually, I forgot the mirrors won't even be in today.
06:18 Oh my gosh.
06:19 So we're getting the last two things in today, which is like they're finalizing the tile,
06:24 putting both toilets back in, and the vanities.
06:26 But we still won't have mirrors.
06:28 And then do they have to-- they said you had to raise your floor because there was double tile on yours?
06:32 There's double tile in the rest of the house.
06:34 Oh my gosh.
06:35 And then they had to put risers in the bathroom to make sure that the tile floor was flush
06:39 with the rest of the house.
06:40 So--
06:41 So-- so silly.
06:42 One thing I wanted to say that-- you know, this is a mom's house.
06:45 Can we go back to the video?
06:46 Because what got me also too was your refrigerator.
06:49 All the pictures and everything--
06:51 All the pictures of Arlo.
06:52 --of Arlo and everything in there.
06:53 So that was-- that was cute.
06:54 I was like--
06:55 I still have all of our ultrasounds up there.
06:56 That is so cute.
06:57 Yeah, I was like, there you go.
06:58 That's the mom's like, you know, kitchen right there.
07:01 For sure.
07:02 For sure.
07:03 All right.
07:04 Well, it is a Tuesday here on the CW7.
07:06 Tuesday.
07:07 And we've got a great lineup for you.
07:08 And that's where we want you to pretty much just grab your seat on the couch and enjoy
07:11 some laughs with us today.
07:13 And starting this afternoon, you've got the two hours of your funny man, Steve Harvey,
07:17 and Family Feud at 4, followed by the Big Bang Theory, bringing on the laughs at 6 and
07:21 630, followed by our new CW primetime lineup.
07:25 If you're a crime person, it's called-- where'd it go?
07:30 Oh, Crime Nation.
07:31 Starting at 7, then it's your favorite funny man again at 9, hanging there for the craziest
07:36 sitcom on TV, Mom, at 10.
07:37 Oh, my god.
07:38 If you can't tell--
07:39 And it's Off Miles here at the CW7, where we like to say it's all good.
07:46 Oh, my goodness.
07:47 Well, it is all good.
07:48 And if you can't tell, we have moved out here to be with our beautiful friend.
07:53 Yes.
07:54 He's cute.
07:55 Brad, are you just like, I'm just going to stay back.
07:57 I'm back here for a little bit.
07:58 Well, as soon as-- the squeaking as soon as we walked out, that's like--
08:01 She's saying hi.
08:02 She's saying hi.
08:03 Is she?
08:04 OK.
08:05 She's saying hello to everyone.
08:06 She's so beautiful.
08:07 Oh, my goodness.
08:08 So Liberty Wildlife House helps nurture the nature of Arizona through wildlife rehab and
08:12 education.
08:13 And this weekend, they have a special event going on.
08:16 Callie's going to tell us all about it.
08:18 But with the help of our feathery friend, is education manager, Laura Hackett.
08:22 Laura and Callie, thank you both for being here.
08:24 Thank you for having us today.
08:25 I love it.
08:26 Absolutely.
08:27 So what kind of owl is she?
08:28 She's a great horned owl, which is the most common owl that you find throughout North
08:32 America.
08:33 So I've already heard loads of stories from people here today about having them in their
08:35 backyard.
08:36 And they certainly are all over the place.
08:37 And is she full grown?
08:39 She is.
08:40 She's only about two years old.
08:41 So she's making little begging noises right now.
08:43 When she gets older, she'll get that actual hoo, hoo sound that you guys are used to.
08:46 You were telling me that earlier that she's not mature enough quite yet to make those
08:50 noises.
08:51 But so two years old, will she grow anymore?
08:53 No, she's fully grown.
08:54 They grow to full size fairly quickly.
08:55 Great.
08:56 But are the males bigger?
08:57 Because I know I've seen like big ones.
09:00 No, actually the females are bigger.
09:02 So Callie's a pretty good sized female.
09:04 She's comfortable right now, so she's squat.
09:06 But when they stand up at attention, they can look really, really big.
09:08 She did kind of just stretch out a little bit right now.
09:10 She did.
09:11 Oh my goodness, she's even bigger.
09:12 So tell me a little bit about her and her diet and just kind of what she eats and what
09:16 she does.
09:17 She is the apex predator.
09:18 So she likes meat.
09:20 So she is great for people who want to get rid of rodents in their yards or anything like
09:24 that.
09:25 So she likes meat.
09:26 That's it.
09:27 And rodents.
09:28 Our camera guy earlier, Stu, was like, we could maybe find, anybody got a mouse around
09:32 here?
09:33 We want to feed her.
09:34 Get her something.
09:35 Very cool.
09:36 Oh my goodness.
09:37 She's beautiful.
09:38 Let's talk about the programs you have because this is again how you actually help wildlife
09:40 out there.
09:41 Very important.
09:42 Right.
09:43 Our mission is actually to take care of all the orphaned, injured and sick native wildlife
09:47 in Arizona, rehabilitate them and get them back to the wild.
09:50 And then occasionally there are some that cannot be released for whatever reason.
09:53 And they can go over to our education permit.
09:55 So we can do both the hospital side of things but as well as the education side of things.
10:00 And that's what our campus is all about.
10:01 And the one you say about returning back that you can't do.
10:04 And that's usually because someone has gone and found them or we have people that go up
10:08 north camping and they see a owl or something out there, a baby one, they grab it and bring
10:13 it home.
10:14 Yes.
10:15 Which is not the smart thing to do, right?
10:16 No.
10:17 Unfortunately that's what happened with Callie.
10:18 She was found on the ground and instead of somebody bringing her to us right away so
10:21 we could do the right thing and raise her so that she could be released, they held on
10:24 to her.
10:25 So she has no fear of humans.
10:26 Which is not good for an owl released into the wild.
10:29 So that would be dangerous for her and for humans in the wild.
10:32 Oh wow.
10:33 And so I mean I would assume this but I'm guessing then that these are not animals that
10:36 are pets.
10:37 These are animals that are wild.
10:38 That if you were to find one in trouble, they need to bring them somewhere like what you
10:42 guys do.
10:43 Somewhere like Liberty to make sure that they can be rehabilitated and released back to
10:46 live their best owl life.
10:48 Exactly.
10:49 That's the whole point.
10:50 They are wild and they should not be your pets and we are the ones that you should reach
10:53 out to if you have any questions.
10:54 And we have a hotline and we have volunteers all the time to help out if any questions
10:58 arise.
10:59 Oh that's great.
11:00 So let's talk a little bit about what's going on this weekend.
11:02 Yeah.
11:03 We're really excited.
11:04 We have our first annual El Rio Vivo event on Saturday the 2nd and it starts out with
11:07 a walk along the Riverwalk which is along the Rio Salado just south of Sky Harbor Airport.
11:12 So very central for everyone.
11:13 It's about a mile and a half walk out and back and then we have an arts and music festival
11:19 upon return where we have local artists selling their work and then we also have local musicians
11:24 playing throughout the rest of the day.
11:26 Oh that's great.
11:27 Are there going to be any animals out there for people to hang out with?
11:29 Of course.
11:30 Of course.
11:31 At the very end of the walk to entice you to get to the end we'll have an eagle there
11:33 for pictures.
11:34 Wow.
11:35 Yeah.
11:36 And then of course back on our campus we have all of our non-releasable animals from the
11:39 owls to kestrels to even California condors for people to see.
11:42 Wow.
11:43 Very cool.
11:44 That's amazing.
11:45 I just have to say Brad you're doing very very well.
11:47 Thank you.
11:48 I mean she's close to me right now and she's over there chatting away and you're not freaking
11:52 out.
11:53 I'm impressed.
11:54 If you notice I'm leaning and the door's open right here.
11:55 You're like just in case.
11:56 Just in case.
11:57 We're prepared.
11:58 I do have a question.
11:59 Just remind, well not a question but just remind people is that we're actually in their
12:04 native land you can say because I see coyotes down here in our Arcadia area.
12:09 We have the owls and stuff.
12:10 So that's something we have to remember is that they're not out of place.
12:13 We're the ones kind of like out of place in their area.
12:14 Exactly.
12:15 So that's one of the things we try to teach kids that come for field trips or anything
12:17 like that that we need to coexist because they were here first and we can share this
12:21 land together.
12:22 So I like that.
12:23 That's a beautiful sentiment.
12:24 Yeah I love that.
12:25 Alright well so you have your event this weekend and then really quickly where can everybody
12:28 go to find more information?
12:29 You can go to LibertyWildlife.org and we'll have all the information on our events page
12:33 there and of course we have social media, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
12:36 Great.
12:37 Thank you.
12:38 Alright hey after the break if you're looking for a new brunch spot to try we're gonna check
12:41 one out in Scottsdale.
12:44 That might be your place for you and Lexi.
12:59 The following portion of the Arizona Daily Mix is sponsored by Wine Girl.
13:04 If you know me then there is one thing you can definitively say and that is that I am
13:10 a wine girl.
13:11 That's why I am so excited to chat with the new hot spot in Scottsdale under the name
13:16 Wine Girl about their new brunch items.
13:19 Welcome Summer.
13:20 Thank you for being here.
13:22 Hi.
13:23 Thank you so much.
13:25 I really appreciate it.
13:27 So tell us a little bit about Wine Girl before we get into the brunch, who you guys are and
13:32 what you do.
13:35 So we are a wine bar located here in Old Town Scottsdale.
13:39 We do a lot of wine on taps but we also specialize in doing a bunch of bachelorette parties.
13:46 Very fun and you guys have a really great vibe there.
13:49 It's super Instagramable if you will.
13:53 Yes, absolutely.
13:56 A bunch of girls love coming in here and just kind of seeing what we're about, taking a
14:00 bunch of pictures.
14:01 We have a bunch of picture spots so it's kind of perfect for all the ladies.
14:06 And I know you have a great apparel section so it's not just delicious wine, tasty treats.
14:13 You also have some super cute things to purchase there on the wall.
14:17 Tell me about that.
14:18 Yeah, absolutely.
14:21 So we have a bunch of merch.
14:23 We have a bunch of little bags, little coin purses, hats, also t-shirts and jackets, things
14:29 like that.
14:30 Definitely our wine vibes.
14:32 We have a lot to choose from, different hats and a lot of little tote bags and stuff like
14:37 that.
14:39 Super cute.
14:40 Everything there already I'm like, "Oh, I know I want that.
14:42 I know I want that."
14:44 So this is so great.
14:45 A perfect place to come in with your girls to get some wine, to shop a little bit.
14:50 But the reason that we're talking to you guys today is because you just launched your brunch
14:54 menu items.
14:55 Can you start telling us a little bit about the brunch stuff?
14:59 Yeah, absolutely.
15:01 So this is going to be our brunch menu.
15:02 It's going to be our toast flights.
15:05 We do it Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
15:09 And they're really delicious and I'm not sure why we didn't have this on our menu sooner.
15:13 Yes, I agree.
15:15 Because if there's anything that girls who love wine love as well, it's brunch.
15:21 So there's nothing wrong with doing some wine and some brunch.
15:24 So tell me about each one of those individual brunches because I know you said those are
15:27 flights, but there are different flavors on there.
15:29 So kind of give us the rundown of what you have out there.
15:32 Yes.
15:33 So this one's going to be our avocado toast.
15:36 We just have some eggs on top of it.
15:39 And then we also have a smoked salmon one with some whipped ricotta underneath it.
15:45 We also have a blueberry one and that one is just going to be drizzled with honey, some
15:50 blueberries and whipped ricotta as well.
15:53 And then we also have a peanut butter crunch, which is my personal favorite.
15:56 It's just going to be bananas, peanut butter, some honey and some granola.
16:03 And then we also have a Nutella one with bananas and blueberries, which is also one of our
16:08 favorites.
16:10 And then our whipped ricotta with pistachios on it.
16:13 That one is to die for.
16:15 Summer, every single one of those sounds amazing.
16:18 Like I want all of them.
16:20 And I know you guys have a new drink as well that you're doing, which is an iced coffee.
16:25 Is that right?
16:27 Yeah, absolutely.
16:29 So we have our iced coffee option, which is perfect for me even coming into my shifts.
16:33 I love my iced coffee.
16:34 But yeah, it's just something that people can add along to their toast flights and it's
16:39 like a perfect combination.
16:41 So is this something with the brunch, is this something that you guys are only doing during
16:44 specific times like brunch times of the day?
16:47 Or is this something people could get all day?
16:52 This is Friday through Sunday and it's going to be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
16:56 Perfect.
16:57 All right, guys.
16:58 So this is your sign to go to Wine Girl in Scottsdale for brunch this weekend.
17:04 This looks absolutely incredible.
17:05 Okay, Summer, tell us really quickly where everyone can find more information and follow
17:08 you on social media.
17:10 Awesome.
17:12 You can find more information on our website or you can go on to our Instagram and all
17:17 of our addresses and stuff will be linked up in there.
17:20 Okay, perfect.
17:21 Well, Summer, thank you for walking us through the beautiful space and your gorgeous brunch
17:25 items.
17:26 This place is so vibey.
17:27 It's so fun.
17:28 I definitely want to go hang out for brunch.
17:30 So it's the new hot spot for me for sure.
17:33 Thank you, Summer.
17:34 All right, guys.
17:35 Coming up, this one's for the men.
17:36 We're helping you get your health in check when The Mix returns.
17:45 The preceding portion of the Arizona Daily Mix was sponsored by Wine Girl.
17:56 The following portion of the Arizona Daily Mix is sponsored by Prostate Cancer Institute
18:01 of Arizona.
18:02 We are seeing a rise in prostate cancer in men.
18:06 And here to tell us about how LDR, prostate broth therapy, can help men get the treatment
18:10 they need in a minimum downtime.
18:12 And that is Dr. B. of the Prostate Cancer Institute of Arizona.
18:15 How are you doing, Dr. B.?
18:16 I'm doing great.
18:17 So I'd love also to be a part of our Live Well campaign, which is so important to our
18:21 station.
18:22 But also it's very important too, is men out there getting checked?
18:26 I know we always wait for, of course, Men's Health Month.
18:29 But you're saying, let's get checked now.
18:32 And this therapy that you can do can help people get back to a little normalcy in their
18:37 life.
18:38 Exactly.
18:39 You know, prostate cancer is the most common malignancy for men.
18:43 And it can be scary.
18:45 And people are really worried about the potential impact it can have on their life, their sex
18:49 life, their ability to urinate, go to the bathroom.
18:54 And these can be quite devastating.
18:55 And so we now have treatments, such as the one I perform, called the Prostate Seed Implant,
19:00 or LDR brachytherapy.
19:01 We'll just call it Prostate Seed Implant.
19:04 Where you really can have minimal downtime.
19:07 The treatment's less than an hour.
19:09 You go home the same day.
19:11 And you can actually go to work the next day.
19:14 You can actually still have sex the next day.
19:16 Really allows you to continue your life without any major impact.
19:20 Yeah.
19:21 And again, this procedure is something that's been around, but kind of got pushed to the
19:25 side because of other treatments.
19:27 But you're bringing it back because you saw how important it was to get men back into
19:31 their regular life a little bit.
19:33 Oh, exactly.
19:34 So this treatment is the most conformal radiation treatment for prostate cancer.
19:38 And now we actually have some more modern advancements to it.
19:41 I can do what we call real-time planning, where right on the fly in the operating room,
19:45 I can actually customize a treatment plan to that patient's specific anatomy.
19:51 And that really allows for maximal precision and a great outcome.
19:55 Yeah.
19:56 You said something very important there, and that was each person's different.
19:59 So you actually can help people differently.
20:02 So everybody who goes in there isn't going to have the same type of treatment.
20:05 Not at all.
20:06 I mean, everyone's different.
20:07 It's really customized and specialized.
20:10 That's what we're really trying to do now in health care, is really customize each patient's
20:14 care towards their specific problem.
20:17 Yeah.
20:18 One thing you've also talked about is that men need to start talking about this to other
20:22 men to help them.
20:23 And that's a big thing to know in this community.
20:26 Oh, of course.
20:27 And I think getting awareness and recognition is just that there's always an embarrassment,
20:31 right?
20:32 There's always these potential devastating side effects that can happen, such as impotence
20:38 and incontinence.
20:39 So it's very common to not want to talk about that.
20:41 Yeah.
20:42 All right.
20:43 Let's talk a little about how the procedure works, because it is almost like prepping
20:47 for a common osteoplasty.
20:48 And so then what happens?
20:50 What do people do?
20:51 So it's commonly performed at a surgery center or a hospital where you are asleep, luckily.
20:56 There's no cutting or needles.
20:58 What happens is we actually place needles through the perineal area, the taint area,
21:04 to get to the prostate while under ultrasound imaging.
21:08 So I'm seeing the prostate the entire time under ultrasound imaging to allow me to implant
21:15 the seeds through these hollow needles.
21:17 So there's no stitches.
21:18 There's no cutting, incisions.
21:21 And that allows the patient to be able to go home with minimal downtime.
21:25 Yeah.
21:26 So that's, like you said, very important.
21:27 There's no cutting, no stitches, or anything like that.
21:30 And that's why this works.
21:31 And the little needles, again, you kind of like, they're very little, so you don't know
21:34 what's going on there.
21:35 Because one, you're under, which is very important.
21:37 Which is good.
21:38 And then you said recovery time.
21:40 So do they need to stay in the hospital for a little bit longer?
21:42 No.
21:43 Or as soon as they're done, they can go rest?
21:44 So as soon as they go home, they can go home the same day.
21:45 Yeah.
21:46 And then just rest up, and then back to work.
21:47 Yeah.
21:48 I mean, everyone has different periods of recovery.
21:52 But I've had some men go to work the next day.
21:53 Some of them take a week off.
21:56 It's really up to them.
21:57 But really, most people are surprised at how little downtime there is.
22:02 Yeah.
22:03 So, OK.
22:04 Let's go talk about who can get the treatment.
22:06 Because that's very important, on who is actually able to go do this.
22:09 Yeah.
22:10 The majority of men with localized prostate cancer, where prostate cancer is confined
22:14 to the prostate, are typically candidates for this treatment.
22:17 Wow.
22:18 Yeah.
22:19 So it's talking with your doctor, probably your urologist, or whoever you're working
22:22 with, your cancer doctor.
22:23 And then you will sit with them, too, right?
22:25 Of course.
22:26 I go through a thorough evaluation, explanation of the risks and benefits, and making sure
22:31 that they're aware of what's involved with this treatment and the potential side effects.
22:36 Yeah.
22:37 Dr. B, this is all very important stuff.
22:38 And it's something that we shouldn't be talking about just during Men's Health Month.
22:42 It should be every day.
22:43 And that's what you're there for, for people, aren't you?
22:45 Yes.
22:46 Thank you for having me.
22:47 This is a part of it.
22:48 Yeah.
22:49 Thank you, doctor, very much.
22:50 All right.
22:51 And you want more information on, of course, the Prostate Cancer Institute of Arizona,
22:53 you can head over to our Live Well page right on aztv.com.
22:56 So thank you, doctor.
22:57 All right.
22:58 After the break, find out how you can win tickets to a spring training game when we
23:04 come back.
23:05 The preceding portion of the Arizona Daily Mix was sponsored by Prostate Cancer Institute
23:14 of Arizona.
23:14 This is the Arizona Daily Mix.
23:26 Oh, hey.
23:27 Oh, hi.
23:28 Welcome back.
23:29 Yes.
23:30 To the second half of the Arizona Daily Mix.
23:31 Still to come, MasterChef winner, Chef Dorian is in studio to talk about her debut cooking
23:32 experience.
23:33 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:34 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:35 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:36 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:37 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:38 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:39 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:40 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:41 And we're going to talk about the benefits of a healthy diet.
23:42 to talk about her debut cookbook.
23:45 So this is so cool because this is such an unusual cookbook.
23:50 The title is gonna blow you away, I love it.
23:53 And let me tell you that food looks amazing,
23:56 so yeah, I'm super excited about that.
23:58 - I love that, love that.
23:59 Plus, we are getting some tips on how to spice up
24:02 your seafood for Lent.
24:04 - Yes.
24:05 - So, some good things there.
24:06 - Do you do, did you give anything up for Lent this year?
24:08 I think I've asked you already but I don't remember.
24:11 - No, I think, oh you know what, I didn't,
24:12 but I put more prayer time and more meditation into my--
24:16 - Okay, that's good.
24:17 - That's, 'cause everybody thinks Lent is giving up,
24:18 it's also adding something, so I put--
24:20 - It doesn't have to just be giving up.
24:21 Yeah, I like that, it's just kind of,
24:23 the whole point is to like prepare your heart for Easter,
24:26 so you give something up in, you know,
24:28 in the hopes of, you know, being better prepared for Easter.
24:31 But yeah, that's great.
24:32 - I added the, it's called the Halo app,
24:34 and it's H-A-L-O-W.
24:36 - Do they play the Beyonce song?
24:39 - No, they don't.
24:40 - No, dang.
24:40 - It's a prayer, it's a prayer app that I added in,
24:44 and so now at night I do my night prayers,
24:46 that's what I added in.
24:47 - Do you have the Bible app?
24:48 - I do, so it's on there, and then I have--
24:50 - It's so funny now when, you know,
24:51 you go to church and the pastor says like,
24:53 turn in your Bibles, everybody pulls out their phones.
24:55 - Yeah, that's--
24:55 - Scroll into their Bible app.
24:57 - You know, I do that, but when I go to church
24:59 I don't take my phone, I leave my phone in the car,
25:02 and I take my Bible in.
25:03 - That is impressive. - That's disciplined,
25:06 I know, there it is.
25:06 - I don't think I could do that.
25:07 - So, there.
25:08 - I don't think I can hang.
25:10 - Well, I know one thing you could do,
25:10 and that is either leave your phone
25:12 or take it with you to a spring training game.
25:14 That's right, 'cause spring training baseball's back,
25:16 and the CW7 and Spinato's Pizzeria and Family Kitchen
25:19 are teaming up to send you out to the ballpark.
25:22 Take me out to the ballpark.
25:23 All you have to do is simply head over to aztv.com/win
25:26 and enter for your chance to score four,
25:29 yes, four tickets to a spring training game.
25:32 There's nothing better than a day at the ballpark
25:33 with the family, and thanks to Spinato's
25:35 for making it all happen for us.
25:37 - Oh yeah. - So, there you go.
25:39 - I mean, we talked about this the other day,
25:41 where we couldn't figure out what it was gonna be,
25:43 where it was gonna be.
25:44 - And so, it's a diamond back game.
25:46 So, I believe it's diamond back against Colorado, I think.
25:51 It's a diamond back game, there we go.
25:53 Let's do some trending, brought to you by Gerber Injury Law,
25:56 where we travel the internet, the social media websites,
25:58 our own backyard to give you something to talk about,
26:00 and we thank Gerber Injury Law for sponsoring this part
26:02 of the Arizona Daily Mix.
26:04 And one thing that our producer, Valley, found for us,
26:08 which is very interesting,
26:10 it's called the Florida Man Games,
26:12 which is very interesting.
26:13 - So, this comes out of the whole Florida Man trending thing
26:18 because there's always the craziest stories
26:24 that start with a Florida man did something crazy.
26:29 So, that's kind of where this whole thing came out of.
26:31 So, the games are not games, they are ridiculous things,
26:34 like wrestling with a blow up alligator,
26:37 trying to eat tons of barbecue,
26:42 riding what looks like a giant alligator
26:44 instead of a giant bull, yeah.
26:45 - And the fighting.
26:46 And so, what these are stories, actually,
26:48 that come out of the police department.
26:51 And so, they're the one who said,
26:52 you know what, why don't we make a game
26:53 out of all these crazy stories we have?
26:56 So, as we look at the pictures--
26:56 - From wrestling with the spears and--
26:59 - What was the story on that one?
27:00 That one I see right now where a guy was arrested
27:03 for maybe not paying for his food, okay.
27:05 There goes a guy who was trying to steal money
27:07 or whatever, you know, from maybe a machine.
27:10 Okay, guys, trying to wrestle an alligator.
27:14 I don't think those kind of stories
27:15 only a Florida man can do.
27:16 Yeah, a Florida man can do.
27:18 So, but the one that got me was,
27:20 why are they in the inner tube with beer?
27:23 So, that one's kind of like probably wrestling
27:25 or fighting or something like that.
27:26 But, where's it at?
27:28 Okay, that's the alligator slide, I think.
27:31 But, where's it at?
27:32 There.
27:33 What story do you have for that one, Lexi?
27:35 - I don't know.
27:36 - What went on there?
27:37 - Does it say in here?
27:38 - I don't think it does, but that is,
27:40 that's a very interesting picture right there.
27:42 And you gotta think, what story was that?
27:44 - I don't know.
27:44 - So, I, this is Officer William.
27:47 I got two guys here.
27:49 (laughing)
27:50 In floaties, drinking beer and fighting.
27:52 So, I'll probably do this.
27:53 - That does sound like something
27:54 that you would see in Florida.
27:56 - And then, of course, the news would be like this.
27:58 Today in Florida, a Florida man and his friend
28:01 were arrested.
28:02 - Well, so it says in here, it says in here,
28:05 a quotation from somebody was,
28:07 "I've lived in Florida my whole life.
28:09 "They're calling these events.
28:10 "I'm calling it Tuesday afternoon."
28:12 (laughing)
28:13 So, there you go.
28:14 Yeah, because in Florida, they're like,
28:15 breaking news, the same old thing that always happens.
28:19 Happens again.
28:19 - Happens again, oh my God.
28:20 - Anyway, it's just silly and fun.
28:22 - It is.
28:23 - Something kind of wild and crazy.
28:23 - So, you gotta check it out.
28:24 - We should start Arizona Man Games.
28:26 I don't know, what would that be?
28:27 Just trying to survive the heat?
28:29 - Yeah, guys.
28:30 (laughing)
28:31 - Trying to climb Camelback Mountain.
28:33 - It would be probably guys in socks and flip flops
28:37 out watering their grass.
28:39 - I hate that.
28:40 - That is not--
28:41 - If anybody in here wears socks with flip flops,
28:44 please stop it.
28:44 - I don't, why do Arizona guys do that?
28:47 It's hot or anything, but drive around the neighborhood
28:49 and you'll see 'em out there.
28:50 - You know, I'm from California,
28:51 and that is not a thing you do in California.
28:53 You do not wear socks with flip flops.
28:55 - But here they do.
28:56 - Yeah, it's a whole thing.
28:57 - And then you see their tan lines, it's crazy.
28:58 - Tan lines.
28:59 (laughing)
29:00 - Hey, coming up, what season of Colors Are You?
29:03 Well, we're going to tell you how to find out
29:05 when the mix returns, so come on back.
29:07 (upbeat music)
29:10 (upbeat music)
29:29 - Color analysis is not new,
29:31 but it does feel like it has become
29:33 the new big thing in the fashion world,
29:36 and I have been dying to learn more,
29:38 and I'm so pleased to have Sarah Williams here in studio
29:41 to tell us all about color analysis
29:43 and give us a little sample of what it's all about.
29:45 Welcome, Sarah, thank you for being here.
29:47 - Thank you for having me.
29:48 - Absolutely.
29:49 - And I am Sarah Williams with House of Color
29:53 in North Phoenix, and I have been doing this
29:56 for the last three years now,
29:57 and the really cool thing about House of Color
30:00 is we use this color wheel to determine your color palette.
30:04 Okay, so before we get into that,
30:05 I want to kind of break down what this means
30:08 and why it's important, because people out there
30:10 might be like, I've never heard of this,
30:12 what does that even mean?
30:13 So what does it mean to know your color palette?
30:15 - So once you know your color palette,
30:17 I'm particularly in autumn, so all my colors
30:20 in the autumn season harmonize and go together.
30:23 So if I have this, if I'm wearing this,
30:27 I could wear any of these other colors
30:29 with this particular, this particular color.
30:34 If I move it outside of the other colors,
30:36 it doesn't really go. - It doesn't work.
30:38 So when you're building a wardrobe,
30:41 it just simplifies everything,
30:43 and you know you're gonna look your best
30:45 because you've done the color analysis.
30:48 - You've done the color analysis.
30:49 - You know that this season is best for you,
30:52 whatever it may be, spring, autumn, winter, summer.
30:54 - So correct.
30:55 - You are in autumn, you said.
30:56 - I am in autumn.
30:57 - And I was gonna guess that because this is the color
30:58 that you're wearing, obviously looks really good on you.
31:01 Why is it that certain colors look better on certain people?
31:06 I mean, what is that about?
31:07 - So whenever you come for your color analysis appointment,
31:10 we do everything in natural lighting.
31:12 We have no makeup on, no self-tanner,
31:15 because we wanna really look at your undertones,
31:17 take in all your natural coloring,
31:20 and then we do our process.
31:22 It's basically a process of elimination using our drapes
31:26 to eliminate if you are warm or cool,
31:30 and then once we know if you're warm or cool,
31:32 then we narrow it down to the very specific season.
31:35 - Okay, so can we try a little bit of this for me?
31:38 - Let's do it.
31:39 - Okay, I would love that. - Let's do it.
31:40 - Can we get a chair so that we can kind of
31:43 see how this is gonna work?
31:45 All right, so the guys are bringing in a chair.
31:47 So this is what would happen when people come to your studio.
31:50 They will sit down, and you have all of the different color,
31:54 what did you call them?
31:56 - The drapes?
31:57 - Drapes, color drapes that you put on people.
31:59 Okay, so you go visit Sarah in North Scottsdale.
32:04 This is what you're gonna do. - North Phoenix, yep.
32:06 And I am gonna just hop around here.
32:08 Sorry about that. - No, thank you.
32:10 - And what we do is we compare and contrast.
32:12 We wanna see what we're looking for.
32:14 We wanna see what changes are happening with your face.
32:17 - All right.
32:18 - And so we'll put our first drape up,
32:20 and I'm gonna tie this behind you here.
32:24 And we wanna see what's happening with your face.
32:26 Is your complexion nice and clear?
32:29 If you have any blemishes, are those standing out?
32:32 Are they nice and blended?
32:34 Are we creating shadows?
32:35 Are we, you know, circles under the eyes?
32:39 We want all that to look nice and smooth.
32:41 So we have this color on,
32:43 and then we put another color on next to it.
32:45 This would be our warm color.
32:47 The first color was our cool color.
32:49 - Oh.
32:49 - And so now we see that she has her warm color on.
32:54 We'll remove it and take a look
32:56 and see what she looks like with the cool.
32:58 And we make our judgments based on that.
33:02 It is a process that we go through
33:04 because colors, all colors look different on everybody.
33:07 And so we wanna make sure we have the perfect match.
33:10 And so I'm gonna grab just a couple more here
33:13 that we can see.
33:14 So this is so interesting
33:16 because I am of the mind that I always thought,
33:18 you just have certain colors that you do look good in
33:21 and that you don't look good in.
33:22 But this is so much more involved than that.
33:24 This is a whole season of colors.
33:26 So you really have a huge variety of colors
33:29 that you can wear.
33:30 It's not just, oh, I look good in blues.
33:32 So I'll just buy a lot of blue.
33:33 You have a bunch of different hues of blue, red, green,
33:37 yellow that you can get all in that season.
33:40 - And typically, as you can see, most seasons
33:44 or all seasons have all the colors in them.
33:46 It's just about that particular tone, that shade,
33:49 and what's gonna really enhance your particular features.
33:52 And so it's a very individual process.
33:56 And the other great thing about House of Color
33:58 is we also offer a makeup line as well,
34:02 which is in your season.
34:04 So there's no guessing on, you know,
34:07 what color lipstick should I be wearing
34:08 or what color blushes.
34:10 - That's great.
34:11 And then not just the clothes, it's everything you put on.
34:14 - That is correct.
34:14 And you also will take home a color fan.
34:17 So you'll have a sample of all your seasons
34:20 or all your colors in your season.
34:22 And then we do talk about extra stuff,
34:24 hair color, accessories, so you know you're very best
34:29 and can look and feel your very best.
34:30 I always say it's like a dose of confidence
34:33 when you leave our studios.
34:35 - That's great.
34:36 Okay, so just really quickly,
34:37 I know we didn't do the full thing
34:38 'cause obviously we don't have the right lighting.
34:39 I'm wearing makeup, all of those kind of factors,
34:42 but what would you guess if you could,
34:43 just from the cools and the warms that you just put on me?
34:45 - It's very hard to tell.
34:47 And I, honestly, I try not to guess
34:49 because I feel like guessing, I'm often wrong
34:52 and I really let the process do the work.
34:56 - Okay, well then I'll have to come visit you
34:57 in North Phoenix so that we can do it for real
34:59 and I can determine what my season is.
35:01 So stay tuned, guys.
35:02 I'll let you know my season at another time.
35:05 But remind us one more time
35:06 where people can find information.
35:07 - On our House of Color website
35:09 and also at houseofcolor_northphoenix
35:13 is my Instagram.
35:14 - Nice and easy.
35:15 All right, Sarah, thank you so, so much for having me.
35:17 - All right, guys, stick around
35:18 'cause we have more of The Mix after this.
35:20 (upbeat music)
35:22 - The following portion of the Arizona Daily Mix
35:31 is sponsored on behalf of CPAC by KEF Media.
35:35 Eating fish on a Friday has been a custom
35:38 of those observing Lent this time of year.
35:41 And as Lent is underway, reporter Angela King has tips
35:44 to kick your meals up a notch.
35:47 - If you're one of the many people
35:50 who observe the Lenten season by eating fish on Friday,
35:53 you're not alone.
35:54 Almost half the people who attend church services
35:56 at least once a month say they observe Lent.
35:59 And Americans across the board are diving in
36:02 and enjoying seafood in a big way.
36:04 According to a 2021 survey
36:06 from the International Food Information Council,
36:09 one quarter of consumers were eating more fish
36:11 and or shellfish than they did the year before.
36:14 At the same time, the National Fisheries Institute
36:17 reported Americans consumed a record 20 and a half pounds
36:20 of seafood per capita.
36:22 - The tradition of eating fish on Friday during Lent
36:24 and other times has really prompted people
36:27 to look for different fish and seafood options
36:29 that are easy to prepare, tasty yet convenient.
36:32 - The rules about what observers are allowed to eat
36:35 during Lent can sometimes be confusing.
36:37 Lifestyle expert, Merrilee Kern,
36:39 suggests keeping it simple.
36:40 She says, consider serving fish such as salmon and cod.
36:44 The Mardi Gras season is also right before Lent.
36:47 So if you're entertaining on a meatless Friday
36:49 or just looking for something delicious for everyday life,
36:51 Kern suggests serving up some seafood like shrimp.
36:54 It's also perfect for people who want a five-star dinner
36:57 at home that's easy to make
36:58 or for those looking to incorporate more seafood
37:00 into their diet.
37:01 Look for responsibly sourced, premium quality brands.
37:05 - It's always nice to add something different to the menu
37:08 and have tasty, convenient,
37:09 and affordable frozen seafood choices on hand
37:12 for a five-star meal at home.
37:14 Mori's products include premium, better for you fish fillets
37:18 paired with chef-inspired marinades and more.
37:21 The wild salmon seasoned grill
37:22 and wild cod butter and herb are crowd pleasers
37:26 and easy to prepare.
37:27 And sea-packed jumbo coconut shrimp
37:29 and America's number one selling popcorn shrimp
37:32 are not only high quality and delicious,
37:34 but are easily prepared in the air fryer, oven, or deep fryer.
37:38 These crispy, easy to make shrimp are perfect
37:41 for everything from parties to meal planning.

37:57 (upbeat music)
38:04 - Southern food is synonymous with comfort,
38:06 but what happens when you take that comfort food
38:09 and you put a little twist on it?
38:10 Well, that's what our next guest,
38:12 Chef Dorian Hunter, did,
38:13 and we are so excited to have her here
38:14 to talk about her new book.
38:16 Chef, welcome, thank you for being here.
38:17 - Thank you for having me, thank you.
38:19 - Okay, so I have been so excited about your book
38:22 because this is such a unique title
38:25 and a very eye-catching cover.
38:28 So tell me a little bit about your book
38:29 and how you came up with this.
38:31 - Well, we've been writing it for about four years.
38:33 It took a long time for us to kind of settle in
38:36 to what we wanted the book to be.
38:38 And the cover was very intentional.
38:40 We wanted it to be something that stood out
38:43 and kind of grabbed the eye
38:44 so people would want to pick it up
38:46 and see what's going on with Chef Dorian, right?
38:48 - Well, absolutely, and let me just say,
38:50 you look incredible on this cover.
38:52 This cover definitely catches your eye.
38:54 It stands out, and the title is not only catchy,
38:57 but it is hilarious.
38:58 So it's called "Not Your Average Southern Sides Chick."
39:01 - Right, right, I love side dishes.
39:03 - Yes. - So I wanted to
39:06 just give people a little bit,
39:07 a little more information about me.
39:10 The book is titled that way
39:12 because, number one, I love side dishes,
39:14 and the book is totally not average, right?
39:17 Like, you don't see very many cookbooks like that, right?
39:19 - Yeah, no, it is.
39:20 - And there is a story to tell about the cover,
39:22 and there is a story to tell throughout the book
39:24 as you cook throughout the book.
39:26 So we wanted people to want to know more,
39:29 and I think we nailed it.
39:30 - I think you did, too.
39:31 Well, tell me a little bit about you
39:33 because I know that you give us a little bit
39:34 of your history in the book,
39:36 but you have such a fantastic story,
39:37 especially being a winner,
39:40 and just tell me a little bit about that story,
39:42 about your journey.
39:43 - Right, so I'm season 10 winner of "MasterChef,"
39:46 and that was my, I call it my new birth, right?
39:51 I've always cooked, I've always, I'm classically trained,
39:55 but a lot of people didn't realize
39:56 that I was actually a chef.
39:59 So being on the show really catapulted me out there
40:02 for people to really know that this was a skill set
40:06 that I had and that this was actually a passion of mine.
40:09 So it was what I call my rebirth,
40:11 and I'm living a dream right now.
40:15 - That's really beautiful, and if I am correct,
40:17 you were the first African-American female to win,
40:20 is that correct?
40:21 - Yes, in the history of the show worldwide.
40:24 - Okay, I mean, congratulations
40:26 'cause that's really beautiful.
40:27 It gives me chills to hear that.
40:30 And so we're just really honored to have you here
40:32 to kind of talk about that.
40:33 So tell me a little bit about what we have on the table here
40:35 because you guys, I keep getting distracted
40:37 'cause this food smells so good.
40:38 So tell me about these two dishes here.
40:39 - Right, so these two dishes are in the cookbook,
40:42 minus the short rib, the Jamaican style short rib.
40:45 These are my cheesy Dutch baby potatoes,
40:48 and they are one of my favorites.
40:51 Like I absolutely love them.
40:52 My mom used to make scallop potatoes and slice them,
40:55 and I'm like, no, I'm not doing that.
40:57 So we use a smaller potato.
40:59 The yellow potato is more buttery.
41:02 So it was very rich, right?
41:04 And then here we have our grits and greens,
41:08 and I paired it with the Jamaican short rib.
41:12 Grits and greens really remind me of greens in cornbread.
41:16 So you have a little bite to the grits and the creaminess,
41:20 and then you have that nice bitterness to the greens,
41:22 and it pairs well with short ribs or oxtail.
41:25 - Oh, okay, great.
41:26 I love this because in the book,
41:28 they're side dishes, right?
41:29 So this is something that you could pair
41:30 with another main dish that's maybe one of your favorites
41:33 or something like that,
41:34 but something a little heartier, I think.
41:35 So something that I just learned that I'm so excited about
41:37 is that you have now relocated here to Phoenix.
41:39 Is that right?
41:40 - I am here in Phoenix, ready for business.
41:43 - Oh, okay, so tell me some of your plans real quick,
41:45 'cause I can't wait to hear it.
41:46 - We are accepting bookings here in the Phoenix area.
41:51 I also do online classes from time to time.
41:53 I go live on YouTube every Thursday.
41:57 We are currently uploading videos for people
41:59 to take part in the cooking experience that I give.
42:03 So yeah, we're very excited about being here
42:06 and looking forward to doing business here in Phoenix.
42:09 - Well, we are so glad to have you here in the Valley.
42:12 You guys, this food smells incredible.
42:14 So tell everybody where they can find your book,
42:16 'cause I know they're gonna wanna make these dishes.
42:17 - Right, you can find me on all social media platforms
42:21 under Chef Dorian, Chef Dorian Hunter,
42:23 and you can go to chefdorianhunter.com
42:26 to purchase a copy of the book.
42:27 - Nice and easy, I love it.
42:28 And you guys, you want this book,
42:30 'cause this is an eye-catching book.
42:31 She looks gorgeous on the cover, come on,
42:34 and these dishes look gorgeous,
42:35 and they look gorgeous in your kitchen too.
42:36 All right, Chef, thank you so much for being here.
42:38 - Thank you for having me.
42:39 - Stick around, guys.
42:40 We got more of The Mix coming up after this.
42:41 (upbeat music)
42:50 All right, guys, spring training is back.
42:53 CW7 and Spinato's Pizzeria and Family Kitchen
42:56 are teaming up, 'cause we wanna send you out
42:58 to the ballpark.
42:59 All you have to do is simply head over to aztv.com/win
43:03 and enter for your chance to score four tickets to a game,
43:06 and that's a D-VAX game, everybody.
43:08 There's nothing better than a day at the ballpark
43:11 with the family, and thanks to Spinato's
43:14 for making it all happen.
43:15 So yeah, when you go out there,
43:17 when you get those tickets and you go out there,
43:18 you gotta get a piece of pizza,
43:20 you gotta enjoy the game, bring the whole family,
43:22 'cause you got four tickets.
43:23 So that's a great deal right there.
43:25 - Are you planning a spring training game?
43:28 - I'm not sure yet, but possibly, possibly.
43:32 Bring Arlo to his first spring training game.
43:34 - That'd be cool.
43:35 Hey, thanks for tuning in this morning.
43:36 Tomorrow on the show, the Scottish games are in town,
43:39 and we are testing our skills to see if we can compete.
43:42 - Oh, okay, as long as there's Scotch involved,
43:44 then I'm there.
43:45 Let's find out how you can give back
43:46 while eating Italian food.
43:47 - All right, hey, go over to aztv.com
43:50 for all the information about what we talked about
43:52 on the show today, and have a great day.
43:54 - Bye.
43:54 - No, it's not Scotch.
43:55 - Content segments on the Arizona Daily Mix
44:02 were paid for by Gerber Injury Law,
44:04 Wine Girl, Prostate Cancer Institute of Arizona,
