00:00 >> Obviously another good day out there.

00:01 I thought, they did a good job on the top of the first.

00:04 They had a good plan.

00:05 They kinda ambushed a couple of heaters and got on the board early.

00:08 And we talked all the time about wanting to throw the first punch.

00:11 And obviously, Val put through the first one today.

00:13 But we always say, man, if they're gonna throw a jab,

00:15 we're gonna throw a haymaker at them.

00:16 And we did that.

00:17 We answered in the bottom of the first just with unbelievable at bats.

00:21 I mean, I think you look at it, what was it?

00:23 It was lead off Homer, then triple Homer.

00:26 We had two punches there.

00:27 But then single Homer, Homer hit by pitch, single.

00:31 Like, just a relentless approach offensively.

00:33 And I think that's a key.

00:34 When you can play with the lead and the other team catch a run on,

00:36 when you can respond and score, especially when it's a crooked number,

00:39 you can kinda, it kinda gets deflating in the other dugout.

00:42 I thought we did a good job of that today.

00:44 I mean, Mo's obviously good news.

00:45 I thought he had a blister going and

00:47 it ended up just being a little cut with his fingernail was cutting him.

00:50 So we ended up getting that cleaned up and he was effective.

00:53 And I tell our starters, man, they wanna be perfect.

00:55 They wanna be great.

00:56 And that's what makes them awesome.

00:57 But their job is to go out and give our team a chance to win and set the tone.

01:00 And Mo's did a great job competing through that.

01:02 And Buchanan did what Buchanan does.

01:04 And then it was good to get Jackson Baker in there.

01:06 That guy can really sink the baseball and execute some stuff.

01:09 Porterra makes an awesome play coming off the bench to end the game.

01:12 And just a really good team effort again.

01:13 So we say it, man, sweeps are about character.

01:16 So it's gonna take us coming out and being focused and

01:18 run another good playoff tomorrow.

01:20 And I mean, hats off to the fans today, man.

01:23 That student section is electric out there.

01:25 They keep showing up for us and that's a heck of a lot of fun to play when those

01:28 guys are rocking behind you.

01:29 So really good day out there at the Joe today.
