Greenock-born actor Martin Compston’s latest travel series with Phil MacHugh has premiered on BBC Scotland.

In this series, the pals will explore Norway, highlighting its similarities to the Scottish highlands and getting involved in local cultures.

We spoke to the pair ahead of the release, the interview of which can be viewed at Glasgow World.com.

Next up, The Deliveroo Restaurant Awards have taken place with four Glasgow establishments coming out on top.

Salt & Chilli won best Chinese in Scotland, Chaakoo for best Indian and Nepalese, Buck’s Bar for best chicken and Ting Thai for best Thai food.

And finally, The Manchester food critic Only Scrans has taken to social media to announce his favourite places in Glasgow.

Ho Lee Fook, Franks, Shawarma King and Paesano were listed among his favourite eating spots, while he rated the Horse Shoe, Avant Garde, the Laurieston and Grant Arms highly for a drink.
