As voted for by the UK boa bun society, the UK’s best can now be eaten in Glasgow as the team open a virtual kitchen in the Southside. Exclusive to Deliveroo.

00:00 We're obviously here in Glasgow, ready to launch to serve the UK's best bauberns.
00:03 The people of Glasgow are in for a real treat.
00:05 It feels excellent to be in Glasgow.
00:06 We're really excited for the people of Glasgow to try something new.
00:10 There aren't many places that serve bauberns.
00:12 And like I say, the UK's best is nominated by the Baubern Society.
00:15 We've spoken to Gordon, we've spoken to Channel 4 as well actually,
00:18 so I mean it's just unbelievable for a small business like us
00:22 to be contacted by these big companies, whatever, media outlets.
00:27 And we're a massive fan of Gordon, so really, really excited
00:30 that he's interested in what we're doing.
00:32 So, love to Gordon.
00:33 Starting 2021 with a friend of mine,
00:36 we had an idea to launch something different,
00:38 and bauberns were what we chose to do.
00:41 We pulled a team together and we were selling food
00:44 out the back of a fire exit in Edinburgh.
00:46 And then we closed, and now we've reopened again.
00:49 And we travelled, we've done a lot of travelling across Europe
00:53 and other places to find all of the flavours that we've put into the bauberns.
00:58 Like I say, we were nominated by the Baubern Society.
01:00 There was a thousand, roughly about a thousand other street food vendors in the UK
01:05 that were entered into a second annual competition type thing.
01:10 And through a number of votes, we were voted the UK's best bauberns.
01:14 I think because of the size of the bauberns, we're doing XL bauberns.
01:18 Lots of places do very small bauberns, as you're about to see when you try them.
01:22 They're extra large bauberns, close to the size of a burger.
01:25 And we prep everything fresh, we spend a lot of time prepping,
01:27 and we take a lot of care into how we prep all of our food.
01:30 So I think it's a mixture of the size of the baubern
01:32 and the care and the attention that goes into the food and the sauce.
01:35 We're all about the sauce that makes a difference.
01:38 So maybe we're going to do a Glaswegian bau, the Glaswegian special.
01:41 An iron brew, I'm making this up on the spot,
01:44 but we're going to do an iron brew chicken infused baubern with iron brew mayo.
01:49 That's what we're going to do.
01:51 But as a first option for what's on the menu now,
01:53 the karagi chickens are the most popular one with the sriracha mayo.
01:57 But everything's good, so come and enjoy everything.
