00:00 President Bongbong Marcos answered some issues in the country,
00:03 including the investigation of the ICC against the Duterte-Draguara Charter Change.
00:08 The President also alerted the people of Sayanide fishing
00:11 of some Chinese and Vietnamese in Bajo de Masinloc,
00:14 where Maris is being detained.
00:16 President Bongbong Marcos already knew the rumors
00:22 that the Chinese and Vietnamese fishermen of Sayanide are using
00:26 the fishing net in Bajo de Masinloc, even though he was the one who was alerted.
00:31 The best that we know is that there really is, as far as we can tell.
00:35 BFAR said that there are really people using it.
00:38 Some say that it has been done for a long time.
00:42 And I do know that there are cases of Sayanide fishing before,
00:46 even here in the Philippines.
00:48 But I think the reason that it has become more alarming
00:52 is that it has become more prevalent.
00:55 If we feel that there is enough ground to do so, we will.
00:59 The President was at the Metropolitan Theater earlier
01:02 to attend the 6th Dangal Awards,
01:04 where some Filipinos were honored for their contributions to the movie.
01:08 Here, the President was asked about various issues,
01:11 including the investigation of the International Criminal Court
01:14 in the Anti-Drug War of the Duterte Administration.
01:16 In the latest Octa Research survey,
01:19 55% or more than 5 out of every 10 Filipinos believe
01:25 that our government should help the ICC probe.
01:28 But the President's position on this issue hasn't changed.
01:32 It opens Pandora's box.
01:35 Because again, it's still those questions of jurisdictions and sovereignty
01:39 that I haven't yet seen a sufficient answer for.
01:43 Until then, I do not recognize their jurisdiction in the Philippines.
01:49 It's not about the evidence.
01:51 It's about the jurisdiction of the ICC in the Philippines.
01:55 They can produce as much evidence as they want,
01:57 but they cannot act upon it in the Philippines.
02:00 That's the point.
02:01 In regards to the issue of the Constitution,
02:05 President Marcos said that it needs to be implemented.
02:08 He has been in talks with two Congressmen
02:11 for the past few months
02:13 and was asked what he would like to see changed.
02:17 What's happening now?
02:19 First, I know that the Senate will take the lead.
02:23 The Senate is taking the lead.
02:25 Between the two houses, they will come to an agreement
02:30 and that will be the way we'll do it.
02:35 But I don't know why there is such...
02:39 It's really a storm in the teacup
02:41 because this has been decided very long ago
02:45 from the leaders of both houses.
