Plus personne n'arrête Jannik Sinner. Récent vainqueur de l'Open d'Australie, son premier Grand Chelem, le Transalpin a remporté ce dimanche l'ATP 500 de Rotterdam au terme d'une semaine maîtrisée de bout en bout. Tombeur de Botic Van de Zandschulp, Gaël Monfils et Milos Raonic, Sinner a résisté à l'infatigable Alex De Minaur en finale. Bousculé, l'Italien a perdu à deux reprises sa mise en jeu mais a réussi à s'imposer en deux sets sans avoir besoin de jouer un seul tie-break, 7-5, 6-4. Sa sixième victoire en autant de duels contre cet adversaire. En 16 finales sur le circuit principal, il a désormais remporté 12 titres, et déjà 2 en 2024. De plus, avec ce succès, Sinner dépassera Daniil Medvedev au classement lundi et montera à la 3e place mondiale, son meilleur classement. Si le trône de n°1 est encore loin, Sinner s'en approche de jour en jour.
