00:00 Welcome into Bama Central's courtside after Alabama basketball's 100-75 victory over the Texas A&M Aggies.
00:06 Davin Cosby hit that last three to get Alabama to the 100 point mark again.
00:10 Blake, what did you think about the Crimson Tide's ability to score 100 points, win by 25 when they got dominated on the board so much?
00:19 Yeah, it was really surprising because honestly I thought the only way that A&M would be able to stay in this game would be if they dominated on the glass.
00:26 And that's what they did for the majority of the game. I think they out-rebounded Alabama in total by around 11, and I think it was about 12 in the offensive glass.
00:33 A&M leads the country in offensive rebounding percentage, that's what they do.
00:37 They don't make a lot of shots, they shoot a very low percentage from the field, but that sets up their offensive rebounding.
00:43 With their athletic wings, athletic guards, they rebound the ball really well.
00:47 And despite that, Alabama just kept making shots, and Alabama's offense was so good tonight, or today I should say,
00:56 that they were just able to continue to stretch the lead even whenever A&M was gobbling up all those offensive rebounds and getting some putbacks.
01:04 Nate, I was mentioning in the postgame press that Alabama did do a pretty decent job defending after they gave up the offensive rebound.
01:11 Not every time did it result in just an easy putback at the rim.
01:15 There were a lot of forced turnovers, Alabama forced them into, I think it was 14 turnovers, which Nate said he wanted more,
01:21 but still for a team that's near the bottom half of the SEC, Alabama is enforcing turnovers, but still a good number for them to be at.
01:29 So the way that they played offense, despite A&M's capabilities on the glass, really impressed us with tonight.
01:36 Yeah, I mean there's some things that Nate obviously will always want to clean up, but at the end of the day,
01:41 I'm not in charge of complaining about a 25 point victory over a projected NCAA tournament team.
01:46 So Alabama stays at the top of the SEC standings, and will also stay at home.
01:50 Next game will be here on Wednesday night against Florida, and we will have coverage from that as well.
01:54 But that will wrap up today's Alabama Central Court side.
01:56 Thank you so much for watching.
