00:00 A man was jailed after he was caught with illegal drugs in Quezon City.

00:05 The suspect was previously in court for several crimes.

00:08 James Agustin has the news.

00:10 After more than a month of surveillance, the police arrested the man who supplied drugs to some thugs in Quezon City.

00:20 He was convicted of drug bybus operation on IBP Road in Barangay Batasan Hills

00:25 against 27-year-old Cedric Diang.

00:28 He was caught with 105 grams of Omonexiabu, which is worth P714,000.

00:35 According to the police, the operation was a success.

00:38 The street level pushers here in Barangay Batasan are the ones who are beating him.

00:43 The area of operation here in Batasan, Fairview, and Novaliches is also in the northern part of Quezon City.

00:50 According to him, he can consume 2 kilos of cinnamon.

00:55 This is the third time that Diang has been jailed for being involved in other crimes.

01:00 He was also involved in a murder case in 2007 in Nueva Ecija.

01:06 And another case in 9165 in 2011 in Novaliches, Section 11, where he was also jailed.

01:13 The suspect admitted that he was selling drugs.

01:20 Why did you get involved in this transaction?

01:23 Because of the hardship of life, sir.

01:33 About 2 months, sir.

01:35 He did not admit to any other crimes that he was involved in.

01:39 The suspect is facing a complaint of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
