Transcript
00:00 Hey, you know what? The big game is coming up this week and it has started in Las Vegas this weekend.
00:06 And earlier this morning I got to get the final update about the big game from Sasha Loftus.
00:11 Nice.
00:11 Good morning Sasha. How are you out there in Vegas still?
00:17 Good morning Brad. Good to see you. Definitely a chilly morning in Las Vegas, but the weather is cooperating a lot more.
00:24 So we're happy about that.
00:25 Well I like that because it's been very chilly here, but people want to know about of course our hometown hero Brock and how he's doing in practice.
00:34 You know he is doing really well. I had coach Kyle Shanahan talking about how he's had a heck of a week saying that he's really going for it.
00:42 And you know it looks like it's going to be great. You know as a fellow Arizona native, I'm from Tucson originally, it's just great to see him, a fellow Arizona, and you know really get to the Super Bowl.
00:51 It's really awesome to see.
00:52 Yeah. Okay, let's talk real business and that is halftime show, Usher.
00:58 What is going on because we're going to hear about Taylor Swift, but Usher is halftime. What's been, what have they been saying?
01:03 Oh man, huge Usher fan. So he had his press conference yesterday. He said he's going to bring some guests on stage.
01:08 He didn't give us the exact names. I'm assuming that's going to be a surprise.
01:11 But he kind of talked about the theme too, saying it's going to celebrate his past, his present, and his future.
01:18 And he does have some new music. He was saying he was hoping to kind of squeeze that in, but it's a short show, 12 to 15 minutes.
01:24 He did talk about also kind of getting some advice from people who have performed before, Rihanna, who performed last year, and from Katy Perry.
01:31 So it should be a spectacular show. Of course it is Vegas, so we know how to put on a show here.
01:37 Yeah. Last night was the NFL Honor Ceremony and some stars actually came out for that.
01:43 Yes, Prince Harry actually gave out the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, which is of course the most coveted award in football.
01:50 So everyone was excited about that, including me. I am a Prince Harry fan, so I thought that was the coolest part of the night.
01:57 A lot of other players did take home awards, including Christian McCaffrey, who's playing for the 49ers in the Super Bowl, as we know.
02:03 He got that Offensive Player of the Year Award. So definitely an awesome night and a lot of pomp and circumstance, if you will,
02:10 because again, Vegas definitely knows how to put on a show.
02:13 They do. Okay, I got to ask you, where have you been hanging out and where are the celebrities hanging out?
02:18 You know, a lot of the celebrities have kind of been, I think, mid-strip, kind of Caesars, that kind of thing, the Bellagio,
02:24 where CBS is having their kind of area where they're broadcasting. So there's a lot of fun stuff around there.
02:30 And then Tom Brady is set to be at the Fountain Blue today. So he hangs around the Fountain Blue a lot, actually.
02:36 So, yeah, celebrities are kind of trickling in. So that should be exciting to see.
02:39 And Gronk has been here all week long. He has his Gronk Beach Club, which is happening this weekend.
02:44 And Shaq actually spends a lot of time in Las Vegas as well. He has a party coming up tonight.
02:48 So definitely a lot of people here. All right.
02:50 Well, Sasha, we thank you for, of course, giving us these updates all week long.
02:55 And I hope you get some rest after this. Thank you so much.
