00:00 Just gratitude and thanks to the community, to the student body, the students, faculty and staff,
00:05 and administration for making this such an unbelievable venue. This is a massive home
00:10 court advantage here at Hoss Pavilion. I call it the Hoss of Pain because with a crowd like that,
00:16 it's such a hostile environment. And so just I'm incredibly grateful for everyone for coming out
00:23 and supporting Cal, for our administration for just making this an unbelievable place.
00:28 Like Jalen Tyson said in his comments, the crowd definitely helped us get over the line tonight,
00:34 and that's great to see. You guys just heard from Jalen Tyson and Jalen Cohn,
00:38 two outstanding players and outstanding young men. And it's an honor to coach those two and
00:43 the entire team. We have a lot of work to do. It's great from our side. We got the win. It was
00:49 a very close game. USC did a lot of great things. They had some great schemes to try to stymie our
00:54 stuff. Their defense in the second half was really tough to penetrate. It was really, really tough.
01:01 Great players make great plays. Jalen Tyson went off. I mean, he went off. He's an explosive score.
01:08 His defense has been great. Jalen Cohn and Jalen Sellis, they made some tough threes,
01:14 some really tough ones. Keontae's two big free throws. I think it made the lead, put the lead
01:20 from one to three. That was a huge key of the game at Fardos, just cleaning up the glass, just
01:24 absolutely cleaning up the glass. And so I was proud of our players. I was proud of our team.
01:28 Give USC a lot of credit. Like I said, this was a close game, small margin of error for both teams,
01:35 but USC is a great team. And appreciate just how competitive it was and how hard both sides fought.
