00:00 George George, how well do you know?
00:02 How well do you know Travis Kelsey?
00:04 What's he like as a guy and what are the similarities and differences between you two as tight ends?
00:08 So you asked me three questions rapid-fire case asking the last one ever I get to it. Okay
00:13 I know Travis pretty well know each other since 2018
00:16 As a guy I have zero bad things to say about Travis. He's been nothing but complete kind to me my family
00:22 Very generous with his time one of the coolest things is you know, me my family have a podcast and
00:30 He flew in to Nashville just recorded with us and flew out just for fun, you know, just you know
00:34 Hey want to come see your place?
00:35 He's good friends with my dad. He's just very respectful
00:38 So the fact that he went on his way to do that means a lot to me and my family
00:41 And then you asked me what was last night's similarities and differences between you two was tight ends. I
00:45 Think we both have a pretty similar mentality about you know, we have a standard for ourselves
00:50 We want to play at a very high level. I think we both love the game of football. We both love our teammates
00:54 We both like to make big plays. We both like touchdowns stuff like that
00:59 differences
01:00 No, I think that I think we both play tight end
01:02 But we've just both played a very different way, but it works for both of us because of the way our office
01:07 Have so many weapons
01:10 You have so many weapons on this team in the NBA that often doesn't work, but it seems to work here
01:16 Everybody of course wants to be involved
01:18 How is that
01:22 I think the overall mindset for everybody on our team, especially our offense or the whole team, but when it's like
01:28 You have D Boyu, Christian McCaffrey, me, Juice, Jawan James, you have all these guys
01:34 You know, it's more of a hey, all we want to do is win
01:36 So spread the ball around but as long as we're playing well and moving in the right direction and winning games
01:42 Everyone's pretty okay with it. That's what's kind of fun
01:45 And you can see also we had four guys over a thousand all-purpose yards this year
01:48 So coach Shane has done a very good job of spreading the ball out to us
01:51 You know, obviously like Christian's probably the best guarantee for a touchdown every single game
01:55 Which as you should be no running back and softball receiver, but I think our office does a really good job about you know
02:01 Having options and getting Brock all those options
02:03 Feelings in the locker room. I think everyone's just excited, you know, one of two teams playing football in February
02:20 We have nothing to complain about. We're all very excited to be here
02:24 But you know, we have a very I think the team is a fantastic focus. We're ready to go and
02:29 Sunday can't get here soon enough
02:31 To the rookies, you know, don't get too distracted by all the bright lights and just stick to your routine and go play football
02:50 Pastor president Teddy Roosevelt
02:52 Stanley Cup
02:58 Like I'm gonna I'm here for an hour like you're all gonna get a question I promise hi, what's up man?
03:09 No, it's fine
03:19 Obviously the last
03:21 I mean, I think you said it like if you want to win a Super Bowl if you want to win games
03:40 You know late late this season
03:42 I mean an elite tight end where you can create mismatches and tied in its center and focus in the offense
03:47 I can see you look back at any Super Bowl like every tight end, you know, you have hurts with Philly
03:52 No
03:56 Kelsey's won a couple, you know, I think he's a really good tight end when they use them
03:59 You know with the Rams so like every team that's been up there has that good tight ends
04:03 So why not just continue to feed your tight end over the playoffs?
04:06 Yes, Mike
04:10 What like Travis
04:12 What do you mean by that
04:20 Well, you know what I would say
04:25 he's playing the Super Bowl and
04:28 No, I think at one point the season he was like, I'm not having a good season. Oh Washington. He's having a good season
04:35 Anytime and you know while it might seem to all of us it could be a distraction it might not be to him
04:40 You know, I think Travis is a mature man
04:42 He knows how to handle his business and I think he puts football over everything
04:46 So I think you can just tell he's playing this year, but he obviously knows how to handle anything
04:50 No, I can't grasp my head around it I can't wait at some point the offseason
04:57 I'll probably have to grab a beer and talk about it. I say that I think so
