00:00 It's Bob Marley. That's why you should go see it, you know.
00:04 It's the first time he's been portrayed in a feature film and it's told by his family.
00:09 And the message of Bob Marley is transcendent. It's one that I think will last forever.
00:15 So come along, enjoy the music, but also hopefully feel something.
00:20 I'd say that's the reason why.
00:22 This is a question I love because it flits between so many depending on what I'm listening to.
00:29 Right now I could say this tune, but I love Zimbabwe.
00:33 It's one of my favourite Bob Marley tunes and One Drop, which are on the same album.
00:39 But I'll say those today.
00:41 I think it's important for the world, to be honest.
00:46 But I'm really happy that it started off in Jamaica.
00:49 That's where he was born, where he was raised.
00:53 The person he is is because of where he came from.
00:56 So it's starting there and spreading to the world.
00:59 It feels very metaphorical for what actually happened.
01:02 Jamaica, London, Paris, America. It feels perfect.
01:07 The studio scenes are very special because the musicians are so incredible in this film.
01:15 Some of them, it's their first time being on screen in a feature film.
01:19 It was a joy because in between takes, we're watching them improvise music in between.
01:26 So it felt like a party.
01:28 And then we would go and do the scene and come back and play music.
01:30 It was beautiful. Seamless.
01:32 I've yet to see the movie. I'm seeing it tonight.
01:37 So I can't wait.
01:39 I would say that I hope that people see that he was a real person.
01:44 He was a real man who had flaws and incredible talent and a mission.
01:50 And the reason I say that is because we all can have a calling.
01:56 And we all can follow our dreams.
01:58 And we all have setbacks and we all have our own insecurities.
02:01 But how do you overcome them?
02:03 How do you strive forward with purpose?
02:06 And I think when we see these great men or these great women, when we tell these stories,
02:11 we need to make sure that they stay humanized.
02:13 Because we can see how we can be like them if we choose to be.
02:18 In three words?
02:21 Revolutionary.
02:25 I feel like it's so hard to encapsulate him in three words or one word.
