00:00 A police officer was injured while another was injured after a pickup truck hit them in Cavite.

00:08 The police checkpoint in Aguinaldo Highway, in the part of Barangay Tubuan Dos, Cavite was flooded

00:18 when a pickup truck suddenly hit it.

00:22 A police officer was hit and fell under the vehicle and was hit by several meters.

00:29 He was rushed to the hospital but was later found dead.

00:32 The victim was identified as John Carl Ostrea De Leola,

00:36 a member of the 401st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion, Calabarzon.

00:49 Police Corporal Adrian Atienza was injured.

00:54 The driver of the pickup truck, Jemuel R.V. Bernardo Villen, was immediately arrested.

00:59 He was 22 years old and according to the police, he was drunk.
