00:00 I'll start with this because this came out late this morning, early this afternoon.
00:08 And that's this Hockey Canada stuff, which, look, there was some weird stuff going on
00:13 in the NHL yesterday.
00:14 You had Carter Hart and the Flyers get put, you know, go out on a leave of absence.
00:18 You had Dylan Dubé go out leave of absence, couple of kids in the devil organization go
00:22 out on leave of absence.
00:24 And then suddenly you get this news this morning, which of course is that five members of
00:29 Canada's 2018 World Junior Championship team are being told to surrender to the London
00:35 police.
00:36 They obviously didn't put the names in there, Gabe, but I think that if we can put two and
00:41 two together, you have a pretty idea what those names are going to be.
00:45 Well, Philadelphia Flyer goaltender Carter Hart takes a leave of absence.
00:50 And yes, he happened to be the goaltender of that 2018 team.
00:55 Dylan Dubé happens to be a member of that team.
00:59 As we stated, the five names haven't been released yet, but if you sort of, you know,
01:02 it's not hard to figure out what's going on here.
01:06 You know, this is, it just, it never stops, right?
01:11 It's one of these stories, you know, with Hockey Canada, Carver.
01:14 And basically, you know, it's like you're a parent now asking your kid to confess to
01:21 something but to everything at once.
01:23 You know what I mean?
01:25 Like is there anything else that we don't know about?
01:27 Right?
01:28 Like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
01:31 Right?
01:32 Like we've been, dude, there's been federal hearings, like in front of Congress and Parliament
01:36 type of deal.
01:37 Like what the hell is going on?
01:39 Like basically people didn't realize, we all knew, let's just be real.
01:44 Everybody knows what hockey players are like, and for whatever reason, we all look the other
01:48 way.
01:49 Right?
01:50 It's always fascinating to me, Carver.
01:52 Like an NFL player places a $10 parlay, bro, and people will report it.
01:58 You know what I'm saying?
01:59 NBA, baseball, like all sports reporters and journalists, whether the story is pretty or
02:06 not, they need to report it.
02:08 Like put it, let me put it this way, guys.
02:10 Like Michael Vick with like a dog fighting operation going on.
02:15 If he was a hockey player, we probably would never have known about it.
02:20 Like he doesn't get a, you know what I mean?
02:21 He doesn't get arrested.
02:22 It's not like hockey people sit on stories, right?
02:28 That's what they do.
02:29 They all know, but they all sort of look the other way.
02:34 And we all knew that a lot of these guys were in the NHL.
02:37 So like Hockey Canada guys has paid off $19 million in lawsuits, but they won't say for
02:44 what.
02:45 So what do you think, Carver?
02:46 So what?
02:47 Like did I miss, did like a bunch of fans get hit with a puck in the stands, like deliberately?
02:51 Like, like how, like for like, how have you given $19 million away to people of public
02:57 money?
02:58 We might add, how have you given away $19 million?
03:00 Like what the hell are you guys paying people off for?
03:04 It's too graphic to talk about on these, on these shows, on this network.
03:08 It's ugly stuff.
03:09 That would be like, it's just ugly stuff, man.
03:12 Like you're, you're like, no, no, God, no.
03:15 What they did, what they did this together.
03:17 Oh no.
03:18 Like, like there's just sort of this constant shock factor and it just keeps going on and
03:23 on and on and on and on, bro.
03:25 And it never ends.
03:27 And it just, it's complete embarrassment.
03:28 And now it catches up to the NHL because you covered it up so long.
03:33 These guys are in the NHL.
03:34 So whether it's an NHL, you can't blame Batman for this stuff.
03:38 He's not responsible for what these jackasses do in London, Ontario.
03:42 But do you really believe Carver that the NHL teams did not know what their players
03:48 did five, six years ago?
03:50 I'm just saying.
03:51 Look, there, there's enough people, Gabe, that spend their entire, their entire job
03:57 for these organizations in the NHL as scouts and whatnot is to follow these kids around,
04:03 to talk to people about these kids, to talk to coaches, to talk to teammates, to talk
04:07 to parents.
04:08 You know, there's no way, Gabe, that in the last six years, somebody in the Flyer organization
04:15 or somebody in the Calgary Flame organization didn't know that there was possibly something
04:22 that went on with these kids at the 2018 World Junior.
