00:00 Alright, we are back, episode 9.
00:09 Hmm.
00:10 You don't seem very energetic tonight.
00:14 I don't like the fact that we still can't see the media room.
00:17 Like, like this watching it, it's like freaking late at night, I'm tired again.
00:21 Well, you know, we got the hook up now, so we watching it.
00:25 You know what, but also I'm mad because we still don't have enough submissions for the power contest at SOHH.com.
00:33 Right.
00:34 You people want to get this wagon out. We got the official hat, the official power jackets, straight from Starz.
00:40 All you got to do is spit this song, you watch this joint every day, every week, we want to hear you spit the whole thing.
00:49 Alright, get your royal flow.
00:50 It's that legal royal flow, my James Brown bounce, yeah, 62 on my count, cover liar, I lie under the cover, that's the only part I know.
00:59 And y'all know my favorite part's coming up.
01:01 Oh, good.
01:02 My motivation.
01:03 Don't sing during the contest.
01:05 Okay, I have to say I got the words on, that's how I know the words.
01:08 Yeah, you got the closed caption.
01:09 The closed caption is.
01:10 You can cheat a little bit.
01:11 Put your closed caption on, you ain't got to be, you know, just, just fake it.
01:15 Don't miss your part.
01:16 Uh, whoa, whoa, whoa, yeah, come apart.
01:23 Y'all like that? I gotta make it. Yeah.
01:28 I can't.
01:29 There we go.
01:30 One more episode of this crap.
01:31 Okay, episode nine, let's go.
01:33 This is an interesting development with Tyreke and, oh boy, what's his dad's name again?
01:41 Jamie.
01:42 Jamie, yeah, yeah.
01:44 Uh, yeah, what's the interesting development?
01:48 As a father, you know, you're trying to give your son the best advice, knowing damn well in the back of your heart that he's doing the exact same thing you did.
01:59 You don't want to be too judgmental, but at the same time, you can't just be like, you know, it is what it is.
02:05 You know, so basically the whole, like, did you snitch on Kaylee part?
02:10 He's like, well, no, he really did snitch on Kaylee, but he doesn't want to teach his son those kind of values.
02:18 So he backtracked, you know, he pretty much was like, well, you know, Kaylee wouldn't snitch on us.
02:24 We won't snitch on Kaylee pretty much.
02:26 All I know is, look, all I know is Tyreke trying to get out of town.
02:31 He's trying to get out of town quick because he knows those people are coming for him.
02:35 And that's really the context of the whole conversation.
02:40 Tyreke is pretty much telling his father inadvertently, kind of subliminally what he did, asking him what he would do in the same situation because he's in that situation.
02:51 But his father thinks he's talking about jukebox when really he's talking about the lady that was killed when he was hanging out with Brains and that other dude.
02:59 So that's ongoing.
03:03 And then we have Tyreke and Tommy about to meet up.
03:08 And what else? What was the other thing that just happened?
03:11 I guess it's not important if we don't remember. Oh, of course, the homegirl.
03:14 She's not dead yet.
03:17 Angela.
03:19 No, she's not dead yet. I think she's going to find a way to weave her continually into the storyline, I guess.
03:25 Now, we do know that the last time, the last episode, she made the comment that this is for Greg.
03:34 So she's she's 30. And then we also know that there's something that Mike was going to say about her.
03:43 And now Mike's in custody again.
03:46 That's right. Mike's dead. I'm sorry.
03:48 Oh, what am I saying? Mike's dead. Right. She got him.
03:51 Take care of it. But bugging me out like she's walking around like no job.
03:55 She's still a part of the show. I don't know where this is going to go.
03:58 We don't know what's happening here.
04:01 We'll figure it out at some point.
04:04 All right. So we're already starting off with Dre.
04:08 Dre's losing his damn mind. He thinks that he's going to take Tommy's business from him that easily.
04:14 Yeah. Regardless of all of them coming together in a coup or whatever to go up against Tommy.
04:20 I mean, Tommy is crazy. Did they not see season episode two?
04:24 He ran over, dude, and broke his leg with his own car.
04:28 I don't think they saw that episode. Dre, you need to watch power.
04:32 Stuff is happening. Did they not see Tommy gut the agent coming up from behind him in the dark?
04:39 They didn't see that episode either. Did they not see him kill Holly's uncle?
04:43 Wow. Retribution. Dre needs to start watching power.
04:47 It comes on. It comes on at nine o'clock on Sunday.
04:51 Dre, you bucking out. What else?
04:54 All right. So let's just skip back.
04:58 Of course, Angela's trying to get the position. I don't even understand.
05:01 Why are they talking to this girl? As much mess she done made.
05:05 Now, OK, maybe this new head prosecutor is not been privy to all of the new, you know, the specifics of what took place.
05:15 Maybe some of it was closed so that, you know, the cases were closed and maybe she didn't get the information about how Angela was involved in all of this.
05:23 I mean, because she brings up James St. Patrick as if Angela doesn't know him.
05:27 Well, I think she gave a little nod like, and after this, there will be no more James St. Patrick.
05:33 I just don't understand why they even considering her for the job again.
05:36 Like, she is the only freaking woman in town that can be the damn job?
05:39 They're considering her just for like, you can still work here. They didn't say she's getting that job.
05:43 But why the hell did she, they want her to work there? Like, regardless of the fact that she was able to help crack the case, she still was messy.
05:51 Like, that whole mess is a mess.
05:53 And like, that's why she's not getting the head of the position.
05:56 Hopefully, Stax won't get it either.
05:58 I think it's ridiculous. And then they're talking about Stax. Like, again, are these the only attorney in USA that are running around free these days? Is there a shortage? Can we not find any fresh blood?
06:09 All right. Who else?
06:10 Speaking of silly, let's just talk about Tasha.
06:13 Why you wearing smart things, huh?
06:14 Tasha. I know, I don't really like the whole way this whole thing with Tasha and this prosecutor's going. It just seems real, I don't know. It just, it just, it seems like it's moving too fast.
06:26 Is she really thinking about hatching a plan to get this money and leave Jamie?
06:33 Right.
06:34 Like, that's gonna really happen with Cornball?
06:36 Right, right. I mean, okay, legitimately, she should certainly leave Jamie. I mean, you know, but like, I just, it just seemed like all of this is happening so fast.
06:44 I mean, remember, he was just, you know, a couple of weeks ago, he was just let out of jail and released and he's now innocent. It hasn't been that long and you're already trying to run away with the dude.
06:57 Yeah, she's a fool. She, I mean, it's not even that she's in over her head. It's just like...
07:02 It's just looking stupid.
07:03 Because this is...
07:04 Courtney is right and I'm not liking it.
07:05 This is about as smart as her leaving with Sean.
07:07 Yeah, right? Duh.
07:09 And she has a thing for leaving with like, the help. That's some Jennifer Lopez stuff right there.
07:15 Okay, I hope that Dre, I hope that Dre is watching this episode because Tommy has just tried to choke his own mother.
07:24 Yeah, I don't understand what's going on with Tommy. You would think he's on drugs or something or where he's like, slipping into this craziness that he's in.
07:31 I mean...
07:33 Over his dad who just came into his life. Like, I don't really understand how that follows.
07:39 I'm not sure if it would be that dramatic.
07:42 Extreme, right. Come on.
07:43 I do get it.
07:44 Yeah, you want to be a part of...
07:46 You're a 30 year old man. You were told that your father died. You just found out that your father's living.
07:51 Right, but to the extent you want to choke your mother out and like, you just took him out, get out of my life forever. I don't know.
07:57 I think Kourtney might be trying to pull a page out of Eminem's notebook. You know, talking about your mom and how much you want to kill her.
08:06 I don't really think that white boys really want to do that per se.
08:10 I think that's a little far-fetched.
08:13 Okay.
08:14 I don't think that Tommy would have wanted to kill his mother.
08:17 I mean, but I think that the real extreme was killing the porcelain doll.
08:25 Like, as a show, I will kill every toy mom you have in this house. Like, really?
08:31 What's going on, Kourtney?
08:33 Yeah, you rushed him through. I think that you said the Entertainment Weekly article.
08:36 She had an article and she was interviewed and she said that she wasn't given the proper budget to finish it.
08:43 So she had to push a lot of things through.
08:45 It's showing, Kourtney.
08:46 She couldn't afford a dog, maybe, to kill.
08:48 I know.
08:49 That would have been really horrible.
08:50 She would have killed the dog or the cat.
08:51 The fish.
08:52 The fish.
08:53 Yeah, and just pour it like pneumonia in the fish tank.
08:55 Right.
08:56 And listen, this is not any support of any abuse to animals. We are fully PETA supporters, okay?
09:01 Right.
09:02 But we're just saying.
09:03 Okay.
09:04 So, yeah, Tommy is on drugs, clearly.
09:06 Right.
09:07 After he gets in the car, that, mind you, has got the bug on it.
09:12 Right, he had the bug.
09:13 From a few episodes ago, if you don't remember.
09:16 I think it was like episode two or three.
09:18 Yeah, so that car has bugs.
09:19 Wherever he goes, everybody knows where he's at.
09:22 But, he's taking drugs. He's sniffing cocaine and we see it again in this scene with, when he meets up with his...
09:30 Distributors, his tiny distributors.
09:34 Right, right.
09:35 And basically, he found out that his warehouse went up in smoke.
09:39 Mm-hmm.
09:40 And now he owes them a product.
09:43 Right.
09:44 And he doesn't have product to give them to make the money back.
09:47 Right, right, right. So he sniffed some cocaine again.
09:49 So, yeah, Tommy's slipping. That's why he's bugged out on his mother. That's why he's bugging out right now.
09:54 Right.
09:55 What else in between?
09:56 So, the two dudes that rolled with Tariq got killed by the cops.
10:00 Who was down with Jukebox.
10:02 Jukebox, right.
10:03 I don't understand why he killed them though. Like, what was he trying to get from them?
10:06 And why did he just kill them like that?
10:08 Well, he tried to put it on Ghost and Kanan. Like, you know, do you not understand that, you know, Tariq is connected to Ghost and Kanan?
10:16 Mm-hmm.
10:17 And it's only a matter of time before they wind up killing you or bringing him into the, I guess, doing the robberies or...
10:24 But I don't understand why he was motivated to kill them. I think that's to be determined at this point.
10:28 It'll be revealed later on.
10:30 Or will it be revealed?
10:32 I don't know.
10:33 You're writing this film a little late.
10:34 It's a little holy and messy, Kourtney. So, we're hoping that you're bringing it together and it's getting tighter.
10:40 No more messy writing, okay? This is not Empire.
10:44 What else? That's it?
10:45 That was it.
10:46 So, here's old Lakeisha and Tasha sitting there talking about her and Tommy and how, you know,
10:58 Lakeisha's pretty much been doing the same thing in terms of her relationship with men and expecting a different result.
11:04 And I thought it was interesting because you just said that Tasha is doing the same thing and somehow she doesn't even realize it's the same thing.
11:12 Like you said, she keeps messing with the help.
11:14 Right.
11:15 She's doing the same dang thing and expecting that her result is somehow, outcome is somehow going to be different.
11:20 Yeah, because basically, I guess, her, maybe her prospects have more money than Lakeisha's. I don't know what her...
11:27 Yeah, but essentially, Tasha, you're doing the same dang one thing. I mean, she was messing with Sean.
11:32 So, like, this is not different in the sense that he's not on your level just like Sean wasn't on your level.
11:39 You trying to run some escape plan to get out of town before she had that money saved up.
11:44 Right.
11:45 And that's when her and Sean was going to escape and live off the money and be clean.
11:48 And now, she's going to take those money again and run off and be clean. It's the same dang one thing.
11:54 Get it closed. Alright, so, Tariq.
11:57 Yeah.
11:59 He's the cop, what I called that dirty cop that was running with Jukebox, rolling up in his school.
12:04 Right. I want to shout out to Destiny who reached out to us last week.
12:07 Who's Destiny?
12:08 Destiny is Tom Weeks' love interest on the show.
12:11 Oh, the young girl, yeah.
12:12 And I'm going to bring you some lean. You know, we can do something else.
12:16 Yeah.
12:17 She's a hoodrat girl. She's going to bring up some lean.
12:20 She plays a good hoodrat girl.
12:21 Yeah. So, what about her? She reached out to us and what?
12:23 She reached out to us so y'all can expect an interview from her coming soon.
12:26 Yeah.
12:27 Alright.
12:28 And what else?
12:29 Oh, no, we forgot. Tommy went off talking about he's going to kill his menace.
12:33 He's going to, there's a war going to happen now.
12:35 He's going to kill Christopher. He's going to kill his menace. He's killing everybody.
12:40 He's going to try to use Milan's girl to do it, which should be interesting.
12:47 I'm like, he doesn't even realize that he's being set up.
12:50 Right.
12:51 I wonder if Ghost would be able to figure this out.
12:54 Well, meanwhile, this silly dude has got to die.
12:58 Oh, let's talk about Ghost.
13:00 Okay, Ghost. Go ahead.
13:01 So, Ghost pretended, I want people to understand, Ghost pretended with the councilman to read his contract
13:07 and realize that, you know, being that he's only a 51% investor, you know, he's 51% that, you know, it's not really a black owned deal.
13:16 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
13:17 So, basically what he's going to do probably.
13:19 Yeah, tell me.
13:20 Basically, is he's probably going to, he's forced the councilman to step in.
13:24 Right.
13:25 And the councilman is going to give him a bigger percentage.
13:27 How?
13:28 Because it's the law. Maybe it's the law, this minority owned business or whatever, he can't be 51%, he's got to own like 70%.
13:37 Oh, okay. So it's basically.
13:38 Once Ghost gets that percentage, then Ghost can do whatever he want to do.
13:41 Oh, okay.
13:42 And Stern, again, will get screwed.
13:44 Ah.
13:45 Stern, he's a paper gangster.
13:47 But I guess he doesn't realize that Ghost is a paper gangster, can be a paper gangster too.
13:53 And street gangster, okay.
13:54 All right. So, let's see how this turns out.
13:57 Woo!
13:58 Yeah, I see the setup.
14:00 So, Ghost put plans at the seat and they went before the city council of New York to get a variant or to get approval to move forward with the projected plan.
14:11 And the councilman brought up, councilman Tate brought up the fact that the contract doesn't show Jamie as a majority owner.
14:21 And therefore, it's not a black owned company and therefore, this project does not qualify for this particular approval.
14:29 Right. And if he wants to do it, he's going to have to.
14:32 Oh, I like that.
14:33 Check the contract.
14:34 Now, of course, Stern is going to figure out that Jamie, because this guy knows that these two are talking.
14:38 So, he's going to figure out that Jamie double crossed him with that.
14:41 You know, you got to rewind the scene because Ghost is looking like, oh my God.
14:45 Oh my goodness.
14:46 Look at this.
14:47 What happened? You looked at that? I didn't even know.
14:49 Yeah, I just had four eyes look over his face.
14:51 You know, Stern looking like, whatever. Your acting skills are to be less than desired.
14:57 Okay, well, we don't know. We actually stopped in the middle of the scene. Let's see what happens.
15:01 All right.
15:04 All right, so, Tommy went to Tasha and he also went to, I think I would think of one.
15:14 Oh, I don't know.
15:16 The other one.
15:17 Yeah.
15:18 The Malonzo.
15:19 Oh, okay. Yeah, I forgot. James, is his name James? I think the guy's name is James. It's a James. It can't be nothing James.
15:24 I would hope so.
15:25 Oh, man. No, it can't be.
15:26 I'm going to name him.
15:27 But anyway, he went to them and.
15:29 The guy he met up with in Chicago.
15:31 Right. And basically, you know, they are like, yeah, you know, we should basically on the low, they should have killed him.
15:37 And they killed Pitar. And, you know, I think they're going to give him more drugs.
15:43 He has to get the money or whatever. Tasha gave this compelling speech about being a family and all of that.
15:50 And now she is giving him the speech of how he's going to clean.
15:54 You know, the same exact speech that Jamie gave Tommy a few seasons ago when Tommy flipped out.
15:59 Tommy loves dealing drugs. That's just what he does.
16:03 Yeah.
16:04 So, you know, Tommy is now starting to see his family fall apart.
16:08 And, you know, it doesn't look good for Tommy. I have a feeling that he's going to be more cold this episode.
16:14 Oh, my God. Don't talk about Tommy in the negative. Listen, we love Tommy.
16:18 I know he got drug issues and he got temper issues and he's a murderer and a drug dealer.
16:22 But there's a special place in our hearts for him.
16:25 So I don't know what you mean. He thinks things are going bad for him.
16:30 I mean, he's a, you know, he's a star. So I really can't see the power without Tommy.
16:36 Yeah. That ain't going to happen. Right, Courtney?
16:39 But you never know. That would be a point where he would have killed him. But I doubt that would happen.
16:44 But anyway, look at Tyreke's situation now.
16:47 So, you know, not just a cop coming to find him or whatever, but him and his sister now.
16:52 His sister's like, "Yo, the cops are looking for you." Right.
16:56 And she just gave him a little fist bump like, "Yo, I'm not going to say nothing. I'm not going to snitch."
17:03 I don't understand why the dean, the dean, what was she talking to the dean about on the phone?
17:10 Well, I think... Tasha was talking to the dean anyway.
17:13 So maybe the dean told her that the police came to the school looking for her son.
17:16 I think that's... Yeah, I don't know. I don't know.
17:19 That would make sense. I mean, how you having a police officer come and look for your son in school and you don't call the parents?
17:25 That don't make no sense.
17:27 Okay, Courtney, listen. Tasha better know that the damn police officers came to the school, right?
17:32 Okay, because the sister don't have to be the one to tell her.
17:35 In fact, the cops wouldn't be allowed to talk to your son without the parents knowing.
17:40 Ask the freaking mootly. Okay, Courtney, don't mess this up.
17:42 Now, we're not there yet. We're still at this point in the scene.
17:45 She's not doing her due diligence.
17:47 Let's not put it yet. Let's see exactly whether or not Tasha knows or if they were talking to them about Tasha.
17:53 Yeah, we'll see.
17:54 All right, so there's a whole lot of stuff going on right now.
17:57 Yeah, my head is spinning.
17:58 All right, so...
17:59 They trying to cram everything into this one episode. I'm like, "What the hell's going on?"
18:03 So Tommy is... He tried to kick it to Lakeisha, tried to patch things up.
18:07 Yeah, I was worried that he was gonna choke her out because, you know, he unstable right now and on drugs.
18:11 He must really like her because, you know, he saw he choked his mom.
18:15 No, I just think he didn't choke her out because it wasn't an ideal situation.
18:19 I don't think he really likes her. He's freaking on the freaking brink of crazy right now.
18:23 You think he's scared of Carmelo?
18:25 Shut up.
18:27 All right. All right. Then you had the scene...
18:30 All right, so there was a scene where John Mack goes to visit Angela.
18:35 And he's trying to...
18:37 John Mack, again, is the head of the team.
18:41 The Asian gentleman who was the head of the team that was prosecuting Jamie.
18:47 Right.
18:48 Yeah.
18:49 So that fell through and, you know, him and Angela had a big fallout.
18:52 Yeah.
18:53 And while they were talking, the clip for Jamie's news thing came on.
18:59 Mm-hmm.
19:00 And then they cut to a scene where you see a waitress overhearing James' voice.
19:06 Right.
19:07 And then she drops the tray.
19:08 He goes, "Entiende," and she overhears him saying "entiende," and then she drops the tray because she recognizes his voice.
19:13 Now--
19:14 I forgot, who is she? You said she's from episode one?
19:16 She's from season one, episode one.
19:19 This is the first time we see Jamie kill somebody.
19:22 And he basically--he set it up so that they killed her boyfriend and they let her go free.
19:28 He didn't want her to die. They let her go.
19:31 I don't understand. Wait, I forgot that. Season one, episode one. How do you just remember that?
19:36 Because I'm good at my job.
19:38 Okay, so what happened exactly? Why?
19:40 All right, so--
19:41 This is just some random killings and drug-related killings?
19:43 This was when Pink Sneakers was running around killing people.
19:45 This is not Pink Sneakers.
19:46 No, this is not.
19:47 Okay, this is when Pink Sneakers--
19:48 This is when Pink Sneakers was running around killing people.
19:49 Right, right, right, right.
19:50 And then he was like, "Yo, who's stealing my drugs?"
19:53 He kidnapped two people.
19:54 Right.
19:55 He kidnapped this guy and this girl.
19:56 Mm.
19:57 And he was like, "Yo, who's stealing my drugs?" Yada, yada, yada.
20:00 Right.
20:01 And the dude was like, "I don't know." Basically, he didn't want to give her the information, so he goes and killed her.
20:05 Ah, and then he didn't kill her, but he wanted her to go back and tell somebody?
20:09 I don't think he wanted her to go tell anybody.
20:11 Oh, he just told her to shut her mouth?
20:13 Just shut her mouth.
20:14 Oh, okay. So what do you think that means now? What they doing here?
20:16 We're going all the way back to season one.
20:18 Yeah, this is pretty good. This is something--
20:20 So while he's trying to clean up his reputation and get clean, while you think that he's finally able to be free and be a normal person, a normal citizen, he keeps getting dragged back into this mess.
20:31 You can't escape when you're dirty. You're dirty. You need repentance.
20:35 He should have killed her, but he didn't.
20:37 Hey!
20:38 I'm just saying, don't leave any loose ends.
20:40 Okay, Tommy, trouble. He's just bugging out right now, rolling up on ghosts in his house after he all coked up.
20:47 Gave him a headbutt.
20:48 Gave him a headbutt and pretty much threatened him that if he touched Tressie, he was going to kill him.
20:55 I don't think I've ever heard Tommy say he would kill ghosts before. That's some strong words.
21:01 Okay, so basically Tommy's on the freaking brink.
21:03 Right.
21:04 All right.
21:05 This is crazy.
21:06 This guy, Ghost, Jamie, whatever he wants to call himself, he should listen to Jay-Z's 440, 4 album and get off the bullshit.
21:15 Like, haven't you been watching all season, season one, two, three?
21:20 He needs to watch Power 2.
21:21 Damn, Dre and Ghost, you need to take some time to watch the show. It's called Power. It's on Starz.
21:27 It's about this foolish man who dates an ASU agent.
21:31 A-U-S-A.
21:32 And almost goes to jail.
21:35 Right. Why are we, first of all, I don't even understand this interaction.
21:39 So, they meet at the freaking gala, which I don't even understand these silly galas where they're honoring a person who was vindicated.
21:46 But okay, it's stupid.
21:48 So, they meet at this gala and he's looking at her with freaking puppy eyes.
21:52 Didn't she just try to freaking nail your ass to the damn cross?
21:55 Like, all those things that she said, what the hell does that have to do with the fact that you were vindicated?
21:59 She's the one that put you through all of that.
22:01 And then you both was freaking being all cordial and freaking stupid looking at each other.
22:05 I would be freaking so pissed off that I wouldn't even be able to freaking look in her face.
22:09 I don't understand this.
22:11 He should have stayed so far away from her.
22:14 That's what I'm saying. Especially considering the circumstances where this whole messiness came up about how they were in a relationship.
22:22 I mean, was that all sealed off? Nobody knows about that?
22:25 It must be.
22:27 Nah, it's public knowledge. I mean, it's public knowledge between the Feds and Jamie.
22:31 Yeah, I don't understand.
22:32 I can't dwell on this.
22:33 Okay, what else?
22:34 And it looks like Tariq's girlfriend, Destiny, had to like kind of rat him out.
22:41 Be like, she's going to meet him at the dance.
22:44 Well, her cousin here at the police office had pretty much pressured her to call him and lure him into a conversation where he admitted that he was involved with the shooting.
22:54 But did you notice he took the phone when he left his cousin?
22:57 Oh, yeah, yeah, because he's going to go. He's going to pretend he's her.
23:00 Right, what you did, he texted her and said, "Meet me around back."
23:03 All right, so at this point, he's around back.
23:05 Now the question is, what's he going to do to Tariq?
23:08 Yeah, what about that?
23:09 This could be the killing I've been waiting for.
23:10 Oh, my God, how could you be talking about the killing a kid?
23:13 No, no, no, you don't mean that, right?
23:14 Well, this is what happens when you deal drugs and your kids are intertwined in your drug business.
23:21 Okay, okay, okay, no, absolutely not.
23:24 I don't give a freaking crap he's a freaking kid.
23:26 He's 14 years old or whatever.
23:27 First of all, it's acting.
23:29 I know it is, but we freaking talk about this for real.
23:31 He's still a freaking kid.
23:32 You can't be like wishing freaking a kid dies because he made some stupid mistakes because he's a freaking kid.
23:37 His brain is not even developed yet.
23:39 All right, well, let's see what happens.
23:40 Oh, my God.
23:45 All right, so we haven't commented in a while, but we just came up to the part where Rayna was killed by Ray Ray.
23:58 And you know, I have to just say, you made a comment earlier about the kill that you were looking for.
24:02 I don't think that that's the one you were looking for.
24:05 I was not looking for Rayna to die.
24:09 Unfortunately, that's who they chose.
24:13 That's freaking crazy.
24:15 Which really sad.
24:16 And I thought this was.
24:17 And that's what happens in these situations.
24:19 You know, you got your mess, but your mess overflows into other people's lives.
24:24 Like your mess ain't just your mess.
24:26 Your mess affects everyone around you.
24:29 This is terrible, man.
24:32 Yeah.
24:33 This is awful.
24:34 And then we learned in this episode that she was his twin.
24:37 She says this is the first time we haven't celebrated our birthday together.
24:41 They were twins.
24:42 I think that's been written in recently.
24:44 Yeah, but it's neither here nor there.
24:46 I'm just going to leave that alone.
24:48 Oh, my God. So Ray Ray kills Rayna.
24:50 Jesus.
24:51 Because he's not trying to leave any loose ends.
24:53 In our previous clip, we saw Kanan almost get killed by three.
24:59 I'm not sure if it was three or two.
25:01 That was yeah. Kanan went crazy on these dudes that try to catch him up in the apartment.
25:08 That was set up by Dre's boy.
25:11 Yeah, because Dre is trying.
25:14 Dre just got fired by Tommy.
25:16 So now Dre is flying solo and he's going to be down with that.
25:19 And he don't want the intimidation of Kanan anymore.
25:23 He doesn't want to have that over his shoulder.
25:26 Well, you know, Dre should have listened to the 50 Cent story, Get Rich or Die Trying.
25:33 Because, you know, he was shot nine times in real life.
25:37 Yeah.
25:38 You thought sending these people to beat him up was going to stop him?
25:42 Dre, you never listened to Get Rich or Die Trying.
25:45 I mean, you're not watching power.
25:47 You're not listening to Get Rich or Die Trying.
25:49 You need to get with reality, OK?
25:51 That was just dumb.
25:53 He closed the door like, yo, I'm not even going to listen to that.
25:55 Y'all not even going to leave.
25:57 Y'all ain't escaping. I'm going to kill everybody.
25:59 I can't guarantee it.
26:01 But Kanan is so evil that you know one of them is alive.
26:06 And he's probably going to torture him to tell him who did what.
26:10 Yeah.
26:11 And I'm wondering, are they going to say that Dre did it?
26:15 Are they going to say the Spanish dude did it?
26:17 Dre got to go.
26:18 But we all know--
26:19 Dre, you ain't built for this.
26:21 OK.
26:22 I know you think you're real intelligent, and you're real sharp, and you're real smart.
26:26 And you made a comment about, oh, being an underestimated has its advantages.
26:32 That's true.
26:33 You read that in like The Art of War or something like that.
26:35 I know you like trying to be like a real wise G or something like that.
26:40 Whatever.
26:41 You need to go.
26:43 I think-- I mean, we have one more episode to go.
26:45 Oh my god.
26:46 I'm too mad about Rana, though.
26:48 I'm so traumatized by that.
26:50 That's not cool.
26:51 Why are you writing craziness?
26:53 I mean, I understand that this is real.
26:55 And this is what you were saying earlier.
26:57 This is real.
26:58 This is what happens in real life when circumstances happen with all of this messiness.
27:02 I get that.
27:03 And damn it, I know we want power to be real.
27:05 But damn it, Rana!
27:06 And you know what, though?
27:07 In hindsight--
27:08 Oh my god, I'm going to freaking cry.
27:10 In hindsight, you could see that Rana was going to die early.
27:13 Because her character--
27:14 It wasn't developing.
27:16 No, it was.
27:17 It was starting to develop.
27:18 Once Tyree came home and she started coming into her stuff,
27:21 Kourtney was trying to, I think, make us like Rana so that when we killed--
27:25 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
27:26 So that when she killed her--
27:27 We would be all freaking broken up like we are right now.
27:29 Right.
27:30 I'm just thinking about the parents, man.
27:31 That's crazy.
27:32 Well, let's think.
27:33 Tasha's getting smashed up by Silva.
27:35 Oh god.
27:36 Not Silva.
27:37 I mean, yeah, Silva.
27:38 Is that his name?
27:39 Yeah, Silva.
27:40 Yeah, Kourtney Eternity, his name is Silva.
27:41 Oh, okay.
27:42 Jamie is out there, you know, still having feelings for the woman who almost had him locked up.
27:47 Wow.
27:48 Who, you know--
27:49 Un-freaking-believable.
27:51 So when they come home, this is going to be a whole new thing.
27:54 I cannot.
27:55 And now Jamie also has a new person he's in debt to, which is the councilman, Tate.
28:00 You ain't escaping, you ain't escaping the evil that you do.
28:05 And then, on top of all of that, we still have the waitress who has identified Jamie by voice.
28:12 And it's going to take a lot to get rid of her.
28:15 Yeah, but do you think she's even going to say anything now she waited all this long?
28:18 Well, let me put it to you like this--
28:20 Oh, she didn't know who he was anyway.
28:21 Right.
28:22 So here's the thing, right?
28:23 You got this whole department upset at you.
28:25 Angela, John Mack, all these people.
28:28 And this lady's going to come to you and say, "Yo, that's the dude that killed my boyfriend."
28:34 I know the way.
28:35 They are going to come after him with everything they got.
28:38 He is not going to get away.
28:40 Right, that new attorney, that new head of the USA is like, "Yeah, this is the last time you're going to say Jamie's name."
28:47 I don't think so. Jamie's back.
28:49 Right.
28:50 All right.
28:51 All right, so anyway--
28:53 Episode 10. Hey, don't forget, you get your power swag. The season's almost over.
28:59 You want one of these power official caps.
29:03 You want one of these official black and white, the white power logo.
29:08 Just like it is when you see it on the screen, that nice power logo on that crazy dark black.
29:14 You want that in your life.
29:16 You're not going to see that on the street.
29:19 That's what I'm saying. You know how many people are going to be like, "Yo, that's official power again."
29:22 You're going to be like, "Yes."
29:24 We got three of them. We got three.
29:27 I'm trying to hear somebody do the rhyme.
29:29 So listen, you don't know the rhyme. We know nobody know the rhyme, okay?
29:32 We be too busy getting excited for the episode. We get that.
29:35 Put your joint on, closed captioning, and just rhyme along just like it's karaoke.
29:40 We don't care.
29:41 Make sure we can see your face.
29:43 Make sure your words are--
29:44 Submit that.
29:45 --as clear as possible. Submit it.
29:47 Submit that.
29:48 All right, so that's powercontest@so.com.
29:50 Yeah.
29:51 We're going to upload it to YouTube. Everybody's going to see you. You're about to be a star.
29:54 Yeah.
29:55 All right, so we will see you next week for the season finale.
29:59 And wow, this was crazy, man. I mean, I wasn't liking this episode right up until Raina died.
30:07 I'm so sad. Next week, guys.
