SOHH.com's Video Review of Power Season 5, Episode 9 - There's a Snitch Among Us.
Transcript
00:00 So, dot com. Yeah, we back. Man, watching that review of Kanan dying, man, was just...
00:11 Okay, well let's just talk about the fact that we haven't been on. So now we gonna go over where y'all been, but we back.
00:20 We back. That's what y'all need to know. We back.
00:23 Yeah, Kanan being dead is crazy. You know, I really appreciated his character. Yeah.
00:32 And I think I figured out what Kourtney does. When she starts giving you more lines... You're gonna die. You're gonna die.
00:39 So, who's next to die? I have no idea. Let's see. Who's been getting more attention? I'm just feeling Dre.
00:47 Dre and then there's Tressie. Oh yeah, Tressie. He's probably gonna die. Yeah. Let's see what happens.
00:56 Also, the congressman. He's starting to get a little bit more attention on the show.
01:04 Yeah, let's see how this episode here goes. Rest in peace to Kanan Stark once again.
01:10 Yeah, we will miss you, but we glad you dead. You should have never did that to Tariq. You corrupted that boy.
01:18 He was like a barber. And you get what comes around. Here goes.
01:21 Come apart. You almost made me miss my part.
01:27 Lucky me. There you go. Starting again.
01:31 Alright, so we open up with Jamie and Tommy being upset with Tasha.
01:46 She didn't let them know about her plan to frame Kanan.
01:54 Right. And of course, Tariq is still being a little badass kid that he is. He's an asshole.
02:01 He had the nerve to say, you know, because of me, you guys won.
02:07 Wait a minute. I don't understand why they didn't correct him. Dude, like all of this is because you killed the freaking cop.
02:14 Like we're trying to cover for you. This is all about you.
02:18 You got to understand one thing, too. He sees himself as, you know, an upcoming gangster.
02:25 He bested Kanan. You know, like a lot of people don't you may not remember, but there was a scene with Kanan and Tariq playing chess.
02:32 Yeah. So this was like, yeah, I beat my teacher. OK, so because of him, because of him, they won because he didn't have to go through with the plan.
02:44 Yeah, but they didn't win. He won. Right. Like ultimately they they all colluded to protect him.
02:52 And in doing the collusion, they also made themselves guilty and they could have all gone to jail.
02:57 But it was all for him. Right. And I think he recognizes that he does.
03:01 He didn't want his mother to go to jail. I think he would have been cool with ghosts going to jail.
03:06 When Tasha said I will go to jail, that was a turning point for him.
03:09 If they said ghosts is going to go to jail, you know, whatever. I'm not I don't care.
03:14 I'm not convinced that he, you know, so you're saying that he bested his teacher and that I don't really don't understand the whole thing, that there was a plan to change.
03:25 So what was the original plan that he was supposed to do? What?
03:28 Well, Tariq didn't change the plan. Tasha changed the plan. First, they were going to frame Dre. Right. Right.
03:33 But then Tasha came in, ghost left the room. Tasha came in the room and she was like, yo, Tariq, we got to talk. Right.
03:40 And apparently she must have said, like, yo, we're going to have to set up Kanan.
03:44 And what did Tariq say that he understood that Kanan was not going to like what is what changed?
03:50 Because nobody expected the cops to die and for Kanan to die. Right.
03:53 Well, I guess they expected that Kanan would just get arrested. Right.
03:57 But Tariq said that he knew he wasn't going to go out without a fight.
04:01 That's what Kanan said in the car. Remember, Kanan says, I ain't going back.
04:05 You know what I'm saying? OK. He had just finished having that conversation with Tariq. OK.
04:09 Right before the cops pulled him over. Got it.
04:11 So it was kind of like Tariq had no idea that Kanan, I mean, come on, you talk about shooting at cops.
04:17 That's something that's kind of wild. So Kanan was like, yo, I ain't going back to jail.
04:21 Like, if I could please, I'm going all out. And that's what he did.
04:24 OK, so Tariq is saying that he knew that about Kanan and therefore he knew the outcome was going to be Kanan was going to die.
04:32 And he said he sacrificed Kanan, who he said was the only person that loved him or he loved.
04:39 Yeah. Cared about him. They cared about him. Right.
04:42 So that they could win. Right. Which is pretty true.
04:45 I mean, I think Kanan did. I mean, when Kanan shot that last cop, he looked at Tariq like, you know, I'm really disappointed in you.
04:53 But he just finished telling him I would never do I would never kill you.
04:57 Yeah. You know, Sean wasn't like us. Right. Right. Right.
05:00 You know what I'm saying? And Tariq was like, yeah, I would come to visit you and everything like that.
05:04 I think that's one of the reasons I really do miss Kanan. I wish he could be resurrected.
05:10 Yeah. They can add some witchcraft to the show and like all of a sudden he come back as a ghost.
05:15 Like an empire. An empire would be. An empire does incorporate a lot of different ways to.
05:20 Yeah. All right. But let's move forward. OK. So then then goes.
05:25 Well, we see Tariq talking back to Tommy. Yeah.
05:28 Of course, those has you know, Tommy's looking at him like, you better get control of your kid.
05:32 Yeah. Because remember, Tommy's still mad because he was like, yo, you the reason that Dre you tipped off Dre.
05:38 Right. Right. Tommy's still mad about that. And Ghost doesn't know about that.
05:43 So, you know, it's like, um, Ghost, you need to check your kid.
05:48 So that goes to the state with Angela, because he's like, baby, how could you have colluded with Tasha?
05:53 But, you know, in the beginning of the episode eight, Tasha, I mean, Angela questions Jamie the same way that a prosecutor would question him.
06:03 And she showed him that Dre was not the right person to pin this on.
06:09 And unfortunately, Tasha has shown to be smarter than Jamie again.
06:16 Right. And I think I don't think Jamie even has the leg to stand on when it comes down to being dishonest or whatever.
06:27 That's what everybody's saying to him. I mean, Tommy said it to him.
06:31 You know, Tasha said it to him. Right. Everybody said it to him. Like, dude, just shut up. You're the last one to talk.
06:37 Right. The one thing I wanted to point out is kind of annoyed me just now where Angela was like, this is where we could start over.
06:44 I'm like, what the hell are you talking about? And then it was like tender music behind it.
06:48 Like you mean like romantically? Are you freaking crazy? Well, he just kissed last episode.
06:54 Yeah, I forgot about that. But really? Oh, well, yeah. I mean, it's terrible.
06:59 I don't want that again. We not do that, Courtney.
07:03 Well, you know, I'm looking on the Internet and the Internet.
07:07 A lot of people are actually pretty happy that Jamie and Angela might have a second go around.
07:12 Who the hell cares about what the Internet say?
07:15 I think it's interesting, though, because, you know, Tasha is the married one that's married.
07:22 And yet people cheering this song. Right. You know, her situation that she had once again, her situation, you know, a situation to fight.
07:32 She he riding on trains with his legs crossed. Yeah.
07:36 Singing in musicals. He's in Hamilton. You know, he's doing all kind of stuff and frolicking around New York City.
07:43 I wonder if his schedule with Hamilton or some other show conflicted with power.
07:47 And that's how they just wrote him off. That's true. That often happens in real life.
07:51 Actors do have. That's what happened. That's what happened to Jukebox.
07:54 She was committed to a show and it had to. Yeah.
07:57 You know, offer offer and Jukebox was an excellent character.
08:00 She should not have died that soon. Yeah. We should still be dealing with Jukebox, in my opinion.
08:07 But, you know, say lovey. Yeah. Say lovey.
08:10 Francois. I know a little French. Yeah. So you got a lot going on.
08:18 You know, Tressie is being leaned on as well as Proctor. Yeah.
08:22 And I think the show is taking an interesting twist. It seems more like the good guys are becoming the bad guys.
08:31 And you have Angela who's involved with shooting for officers.
08:37 I mean, that wasn't her fault, but, you know, it didn't seem that remorseful.
08:42 Right. Then you got it was like we're in the clear. Right.
08:47 You know, Tariq is in the clear. We good. Then you got the two guys, they're leaning on Tressie.
08:54 And they're like, yeah, motherfucker, stop playing, you know.
08:58 And now they lean on Proctor trying to get him to do illegal stuff.
09:02 So it's like the bad guys are becoming good guys and the good guys are becoming bad guys.
09:08 I don't know if the good guys are becoming bad guys. Those are their methods.
09:12 You know, that's what they do. They lean on people, you know, to do illegal stuff and they use illegal methods and, you know,
09:21 intimidation and telling you that your kid is going to go to cocaine addict, you know, kind of stuff like that.
09:29 So that's that's just how they operate. So right now we just got Tommy and Sammy and not getting along.
09:37 Well, Sammy, I like, you know, I just had an issue with intuition recently.
09:42 And, you know, Sammy is basically using his intuition.
09:47 He says something right out here. What you telling me? You know, all of a sudden we've been doing this for all these years.
09:52 And all of a sudden the truck gets stopped. Something ain't right.
09:55 So my question to you is, do you remember whether Tressie is somehow involved in the fact that these this truck got stopped?
10:05 Or is it something Tressie has been doing in the context of talking to the feds?
10:11 Well, I don't see any. I mean, I think it's just random that the truck got stopped.
10:16 And of course, you know, it spooks all of them. Tommy would, of course, would not snitch.
10:23 And Sammy has no reason to snitch. I mean, I think there's only one person that if the truck did get stopped, it would be and that's Tressie.
10:32 But who knows? I don't think the feds know what Tommy is doing.
10:38 So I think it was just random. OK, well, I think I trust him.
10:45 He's saying something right. He doesn't believe this random.
10:48 The other guys like, you know, to do that report it to them is like I've been doing this for nine years.
10:53 I know all my guys, you know, Tommy is his stuff.
10:58 So there's no reason why he would set his own stuff up to just leave to rest.
11:02 Right. That's what he's doing. I think Sammy is at the point where he's, you know, like I mean, because Sam is the only one to know that that Tressie is the informant.
11:13 Right. And I guess Sammy feels that. All right. Sammy knows that Tressie is the informant.
11:18 Yeah. Wait, Sammy knows that Tressie is talking to the feds. Yeah.
11:22 Now, OK, help us remember, I ain't the only one. Y'all remember?
11:28 Because I remember, excuse me, if everybody else knows and I don't.
11:31 All right. This might take a little bit longer than YouTube has. Oh, my God.
11:34 Just freaking wrap it up and explain. How does Sammy know that Tressie's been talking to the feds?
11:40 We're in episode nine right now, so I would say about episode six, maybe five, you know, Tressie's talking to Sammy and basically like, yo, I got to, you know,
11:55 he's basically telling Sammy he needs to set up time. I can take you back.
12:00 He needs to set up Tommy. He's going to set up Tommy and go.
12:03 And that's the reason why Sammy came back on board with him kind of with this, you know, right.
12:10 Because remember, Sammy didn't want nothing to do with Tommy. Right.
12:13 I think that the family. Right. So Tressie, you know, kind of told Sammy what the end goal was.
12:20 Did he tell him that explicitly or did he tell him that he just needed to get rid of his kid?
12:26 Sammy is clearly aware that Tressie is in with the feds.
12:33 OK, because talking to the feds is so nasty, like it's not something.
12:38 But, you know, this is your best friend is the only person that you can talk to. Let's see how this plays out.
12:42 Yeah. All right. OK, so we just saw a scene where a valid dad walks into Dre's office
12:54 and she tells him basically that he needs to help her to get Alicia Jimenez.
13:02 And excuse me again for not remembering. You missed the memory and you know all the episodes.
13:06 So excuse me and all the other people who don't remember everything.
13:09 How does she know that Dre is connected to Alicia Jimenez?
13:16 Don't remember Tommy. He was like Dre is connected to Jimenez.
13:23 And she was watching them and she called Tommy and she was and he was like, basically, Tommy told her where to sit.
13:31 OK, right. She was in the car. OK, thank you.
13:35 Yeah. Got to get kicked off the show. You got to get your knowledge up on power.
13:40 Listen, man, listen, I ain't the only one. Just freaking me.
13:43 Power refresh. Yes, power refresh. Of course, that's your job.
13:49 Next, you're going to be like, who's Raina? God.
13:56 OK, OK, so you were right. You were right. You were clear.
13:59 Look, we just finished watching the scene with Sammy and Teresi talking.
14:03 And Sammy clearly said, you got to, you know, tell turn Tommy into the feds.
14:09 He clearly showed that he knew. I just forgot that he knew.
14:14 And yes, but is Teresi really is he fooling Sammy when he's like, you're my Rita.
14:20 I was about to do that. Like what's going on with him? For real?
14:23 You talk about turning in your son. I mean, despite you not knowing him that long, I mean, you've killed together.
14:33 You've beaten people up together over these last few episodes. You've introduced him to your wife.
14:39 You've met his girlfriend. So now I know. And Connie's on hospice now.
14:43 And I think that he's like she said, after I die, you know, he's going to be the only family you got.
14:49 You will turn in the only family you have. Right. So I think that that might be weighing on him.
14:54 But I'm wondering how he's going to turn this whole thing around.
14:56 Is he going to want to kill his best friend, Sammy, over this? Is he going to wind up destroying that relationship?
15:02 Is he going to want to pin everything on Sammy or something like that?
15:07 I don't know. He just I'm just the way he was looking at the end when Sammy was eating.
15:11 I'm like, damn, he's about to do something that, you know, double crossing.
15:15 Can is dead. Yeah. I'm just saying, like, I don't know anymore.
15:21 I never thought that canning would die. I don't know. I think Teresi about to do something to his boy Sammy.
15:26 More years. But we'll see. OK, here we go. Dre is just a slimy dude.
15:32 Yeah, he's a real ratchet and terrible and just backstabby and bitchy.
15:38 And so it's like he's like he's like, you know, the other day when that when Michael Eric Dyson Michael Dyson spoke at Aretha Franklin's funeral.
15:49 Yeah, he called Trump all of those names like those are the names you got to call.
15:53 Dre. Yes. Yeah. We just we're going to be that.
15:57 So it started off with Dre losing his position at the nightclub.
16:05 Well, he lost his position at the nightclub. Yeah. After they.
16:10 Well, they didn't say he lost his position.
16:12 They just said that the club had to, like, you know, seize operations for that head.
16:16 Diego's head being there. Yeah. Then he lost his distribution spot.
16:22 Yeah. As the number one distro manager.
16:25 Right. So now Cristobal became the distro. And Alicia clearly said he seems like the revenge type.
16:32 Right. So then Dre meets with Cristobal and he plays him like, you know, like, no, I'm not mad.
16:37 You know, hey, it's good. I'm gonna just lay low. Right.
16:39 And then he finds out that we're Alicia and Cristobal is going to be.
16:43 And of course, Cristobal is like, you know, he thinks he's going to have sex with Alicia, which also pisses off Dre,
16:50 even though in the beginning he seemed interested, but not really interested because he just wanted to just be different.
16:57 He didn't want all of that. You know, Diego, he had her attention. Right.
17:01 So then Angela confronts Dre and Dre realizes that she can he can use the information that he got.
17:10 Um, Cristobal to get witness protection.
17:14 So this dude here, he just totally flipped within a few with not even a few episodes.
17:20 He flipped within one episode. He's a punk man.
17:22 Yeah. But is he really going to I mean, the question is what's going to happen?
17:27 Because he doesn't seem like the type that's like, oh, I'm willing to go on witness protection.
17:31 He like, I'm trying to be out here in the streets making money.
17:33 Like, I don't see a life for him in witness protection as he ain't no coward.
17:38 He ain't gonna be running. He's. Oh, we got to see what's going to happen.
17:40 We're going to see how he double crosses whoever he double crosses in order to stay out there.
17:44 Well, what he does is he tells Angela where he can find Alicia and Alicia.
17:50 And then Angela comes through with the feds, arrests Alicia and Cristobal.
17:55 And even though it was a great celebration, Stacks and Mark are not really happy about it.
18:04 They're like, whatever, you know, because they're still hating on Angela.
18:08 Well, isn't it trying to get some other position that Angela's helping him get back up in the air right now?
18:17 She was just trying to get rid of him, like just move him out of town.
18:20 Yeah. To get her off, to get him off her back.
18:24 Yeah. Her and Sacks actually have been going at it since since season one.
18:30 No, I know that. You know, I'm just trying to figure out what I thought was supposed to be a friend.
18:35 She said she she said at least in the interest of trying to get a better situation for himself.
18:41 Right. Well, we'll see how long that lasts. I don't trust Mark.
18:45 I don't trust Sacks. I don't think she has any friends up there.
18:50 And from the looks of it, I mean, it just had a major win and everyone's not really congratulating her.
18:56 It just seemed to be like, you know, like great.
18:59 She stood out there and it was over and she like, like left her standing there by herself.
19:06 So that's kind of sad. All right. Let's see where this goes.
19:10 All right. Rest in peace to Sammy. I'm mad about that.
19:15 I like Sammy. OK, fine. On this show, it doesn't matter who anybody likes because anybody could die.
19:22 Not the death that I was hoping for. But yes, Sammy's dead. Killed by Teresa.
19:28 Before Sammy could spill the beans that that Teresa is an FBI informant.
19:34 Right. So the reason he died was because he overheard Teresa just dropping down on ghost and keeping Tommy in the clear.
19:43 Right. And, you know, Sammy, at the end of the day, he's upset Tommy because he got got him kicked out of the family.
19:51 Yeah. Anyway, I mean, he's been running with this family now for 25 plus years.
19:56 Right. Tommy comes out and gets him kicked out immediately.
20:00 So, you know, he wants to see Tommy dead. And he also feels like, you know, this is his best friend.
20:05 He's been holding down his wife or whatever, you know, and Tommy needs to die.
20:10 Right. And Teresa, similar to Ghost and Kanan, has taken a liking to Tommy.
20:20 Yeah. So if that's what happens.
20:23 So wait, so Teresa tells the feds that Ghost is.
20:29 Yeah, Jamie is Ghost. Jamie is Ghost. Right.
20:31 And of course, Mach and Mach and Sacks, they pretend like they knew that all along.
20:37 So they still never really made that connection. Right.
20:40 But they but they like, yeah, yeah, we already knew that. Tell us something we didn't know.
20:44 Right, right, right, right. So, you know, it's not true that Ghost put the hit on Santa for a while.
20:51 He was in jail. It was actually Tommy. Tommy had the connection to Teresa.
20:56 Once he found out that Teresa was his father at the end of season four, was like, yo, we got a little problem.
21:02 Told him what to do. Teresa handled it.
21:05 OK, so remind everyone, including me, for those of us don't look, I'm doing this for everybody else.
21:13 This ain't about me, because I know. But those of us who don't remember what happened with Mike Sandoval in jail.
21:22 All right. So Mike Sandoval, you know, he was the he was the he was the rat for Lobos.
21:28 Right. And he also worked for the for the feds. And he worked for the feds.
21:33 So Angela finally figured out that it was Mike that was the informant.
21:38 Right. And Mike was going to jail. And Mike went to jail. Right. Angela shot him.
21:43 The feds came in and arrested Mike. They put him in jail. Right.
21:46 They put him in protective custody. Angela found out where he was staying.
21:54 She told Silver. Silver told Proctor. Proctor told Ghost. Ghost told Tommy.
22:00 And Tommy made the call back to Teresa to get him killed.
22:06 Wow. You got a great memory. Give it up to him, people.
22:13 All right. Yeah. All right.
22:17 OK, so we're at the scene where Proctor is wearing the wire.
22:21 Yeah. He tells he writes down on a napkin that I'm wearing a wire and Jamie finds out.
22:28 And he basically doesn't give him anything to implicate Angela or or anybody or himself in the death of Mike Sandoval.
22:38 And then once Proctor turns off the wire, Jamie loses all control. Yeah.
22:43 Which pisses me off. Why? Well, obviously, if he was trying to do some some harm to you, he wouldn't have told you he was wearing a wire.
22:51 Exactly. Which is exactly what Proctor said. But I don't understand this whole thing Proctor is saying about Angela is planning on flipping on him.
22:59 Where is he getting that from? He's not.
23:01 But what he's saying is that the feds are setting up a huge case against Angela to roll over on Jamie.
23:09 So, OK, at some point, Angela is going to save herself.
23:14 Oh, OK. And he needs to be prepared for that. Yeah.
23:18 And, you know, he's been warning him since season two to get rid of Angela.
23:22 But of course, you know, her, as he said, magical vagina keeps twisting up his words.
23:32 So that's where that's at. And we also got to the part where Jamie showed the pictures of Teresa talking to the feds to Vincent.
23:41 Yeah. A lot of people don't realize that Channing kind of put it in Vincent's ear that Jamie was the one who put the hit out on Vincent.
23:53 Right. He did. And Ghost had to clear that up.
23:56 Now, whether Vincent believes that or not is a whole nother story. Right.
24:00 But, yeah, that's pretty ballsy for him to do that.
24:04 Of course, Vincent knows that Ghost and Jamie are one in the same, which, you know, kind of brings their identities together again.
24:13 You know, because now I know that Jamie and Ghost are the same person.
24:17 If you remember from the beginning of this whole outside of the show, people thought that Ghost was Tommy.
24:24 Right. But what is Vincent knowing that had to do with anything?
24:29 Well, Ghost's identity is being it's being dragged.
24:33 Oh, yeah. Because they just said Ghost was Jamie to the feds.
24:37 Right. And then early in the episode, Tariq says, teach me the motherfucking game, Ghost.
24:42 Yeah. So it's like he's been outed all over the place.
24:45 So three times this episode so far has been referred to as Ghost.
24:49 So the more he's trying to, you know, get out of this situation, he's being dragged back in.
24:55 Right. And I think if I'm not mistaken, I mean, I think there's actually an episode in one of these seasons where he's going back into his library, people.
25:06 I'm looking through my encyclopedia, his transcript of all the episodes that he meticulously took notes on.
25:14 He's looking through his catalog of transcribed notes and scenes.
25:21 Hey, man, I take this power thing real serious.
25:23 Clearly you do. You try to make it seem like I got a problem because I don't remember that you got a problem.
25:28 Right. So like in season three is an episode called Call Me James.
25:32 And then as episode 10 in season two is called Ghost is Dead.
25:38 Yeah. You know, so he's been trying to separate these two people.
25:42 Yeah. For the longest. Yeah. Yeah. And here they come right back again.
25:47 Right. So this shot right here represents that Angela's world has just been turned upside down.
25:58 Wow. It's a classic shot. Ah, not your film class from high school.
26:05 Came in handy, huh? That's crazy.
26:12 I didn't think that it was going to happen so quick. I mean, when Proctor was saying, you know, they're building a case against her.
26:18 I just really didn't see. But I guess the Teresa killing was the trick, was the was the final straw.
26:26 It was what gave them, I guess, the leverage to finally say to her, look, you know, it's you because they told them she died.
26:37 She was she was the only one who knew who the informant was. Even the black guy was just like, you know, and of course, the sergeant is there.
26:50 Yeah. And why? Officer Blanca. Yeah. Why would she be? I know.
26:56 I need to know. They did it. Right. That's crazy.
27:03 So now it's about to get crazy. Right. So let's go back a couple of there was a couple of scenes that took place.
27:09 So, OK, well, one thing is for sure. Tommy killed Teresa.
27:15 Wow. That was hard. How did you how did you feel seeing that?
27:19 That was hard because you can see the Tommy was definitely emotionally invested in this relationship.
27:25 I mean, imagine being your father, never known and, you know, having so much in common with him and kind of living that life and sharing the same type of experiences and, you know,
27:36 finally get to a place where you like trust him and then you find out that he has been setting you up.
27:43 That that was really hard. And I felt sorry for Tommy because it's like everybody he loves somehow just does him wrong.
27:52 You know, I think, you know, after he kills Teresa, he goes to see his mom and his mom goes, you were always too trusting.
28:01 Yeah. And I think this will cause him to harden his heart a little bit more, not let others in.
28:09 Or maybe like no new friends, sort of like, you know, like he got his people that he's used to rolling with.
28:15 You know, he create no new relationships no more. You know.
28:20 Well, you know what? Look, he's just been getting a lot of lines lately.
28:24 Yes. So I think she might be going. She might be dying soon.
28:27 Yeah. It's like I can't be trusted. Nobody knew in the way she was like, you didn't kill anybody yet before.
28:34 I mean, have you? He's like, yo, she's too green. She built for this, you know?
28:39 And the fact that, you know, she was questioning, you know, having to, you know, having to, you know, testify and be a part of this kind of life like this, like she built for that life.
28:51 So he's either going to leave her again or he's going to kill her.
28:55 Right. Here's a question for you power watchers out there.
29:00 If you remember when Tommy hid the key share from Milan, you know, keep her safe, which was nice.
29:08 He was supposed to kill everybody, you know, hit her.
29:11 It was it was her son. Like, did he hide the son, too?
29:14 Yes, he did. The son to meet. It's a lie.
29:18 I mean, you know, babies don't get a lot of love. It's like like those Natasha's.
29:22 But when I baby girl. Yeah, she's with the grandmother.
29:27 She's with the grandmother. We now remember like, you know, I just thinking about that.
29:33 So anyway, it was only fitting that Tommy killed to rescue and then left the body at the Teresa grave site, which was like, wow.
29:41 Yeah, that's crazy. I wonder how Connie's going to feel because Connie knew that he was going to die.
29:48 Yeah. She's very intuitive. You know, she she she could tell from his face that he was in trouble.
29:54 Right. You know, and she had been warning him like this is not going to go down very well.
30:01 You know, sort of like you see tomorrow. She's like, you'll see.
30:05 All right. Because I died.
30:09 And she probably died from being heartbroken or something like that.
30:13 Strong woman. You never know. You may actually live because you think Tommy will take care of me.
30:20 He said he would say maybe from afar.
30:24 Yeah. Because no one else, you know, no one else will like will take care of her.
30:30 If you send her money right now, then what I did like about Connie was that she understood the life.
30:36 You know, she wasn't like a Keisha. She's the total opposite.
30:39 She knows like, yep, your son is going to kill you because you're a snitch.
30:43 Right. And you just got to deal with that. Right.
30:47 Right. Yeah, I think I think he should definitely might be the next one to die because now Tommy's got to, you know,
30:55 you've got to some new sense to to, you know, close up.
31:01 You know, he's been letting and he knows what he's actually mentioned that she's going to be.
31:06 She's been, you know, deposed to testify about this whole Canaan situation.
31:12 Now she's in that. Right. So I think that is a big mess happening right now.
31:19 So I mean, it's a lot. It's a little bit of stuff going on.
31:25 Certain things need to be wrapped up. We have not heard back from Maria,
31:33 who is the lady who heard ghosts, heard ghosts voice and was like, that's the guy who killed my fiance.
31:41 She hasn't not been in the picture. I mean, I'm hoping that at some point they bring that back up.
31:46 But what what what would that have in this? I think it's a little bit far off.
31:51 Well, you know, Angela still doesn't know about that case.
31:55 You know, they're trying to get Jamie at all angles.
31:58 And, you know, I think, you know, I mean, we've kind of forgotten all about that.
32:05 I don't know. It'll come back up. I mean, just like they brought back the earring and silver and everything like that.
32:11 But what are your predictions? I mean, season finale. What are we going to do?
32:17 I think she's doing a lot of like you said, you got a lot more lines.
32:22 What do you like when people get a lot of lines, get out of line, you get to me, line when you go step it ahead.
32:31 He's going, sorry, you. And I wasn't built for this life.
32:38 This time he died. Ghosts. Oh, my God.
32:41 Yeah, but the reek that happens. I don't know if I could watch this show.
32:46 I'm sorry, Courtney. These are just certain people you just cannot kill off the show.
32:50 Well, Cainan was one of them. No, I don't think he was one of them.
32:54 Yes, he was in all the posters. I mean, Cainan was a great character.
32:58 He was the only character that was stand up.
33:02 Leave me stand up. He told the truth. He never really lied.
33:06 He lied. He was like the devil. He was like, I'll tell you what you need to know.
33:10 Not everything. Right. Right. Right. Whereas everybody else.
33:13 Wait a minute. Didn't he didn't he go over there and tell the lie that goes set up, Vincent?
33:18 It goes. Yeah, kind of. He didn't say who he just was like, yeah, I think that was, you know,
33:24 Tommy's go connect to try to kill you. He put it. He gave you what you wanted.
33:29 You know, and you and you ran with it in your own head. But as far as with him and Tariq, he never lied.
33:35 You know what I'm saying? I mean, I don't know. I thought Cainan was a really great character.
33:40 We still grieving over Cainan. And, you know, the next good character was Dre.
33:47 Dre lost everything. Dre ain't got no friends or nothing.
33:51 I mean, I don't know how he gonna make it out of this. Right. Yeah. I don't see him walking away, though.
33:57 Now he's not going to walk away for witness protection. I mean, that's not his style.
34:02 But at least they at least at least somebody brought up that he had a kid. I was like, oh, yes.
34:06 Right. He got a kid, too. You remember that scene where Cainan was hanging Dre's baby by the window,
34:13 and he was talking about, baby, you want to fly? Right. That was when Cainan was at his greatest.
