00:00 One of the stories which is quite interesting is the evolution of Tank Girl,
00:05 which was created by Jamie Hewlett and Alan Martin.
00:10 And obviously my involvement was that, obviously I sat next to Jamie at art college
00:16 and I helped out on quite a lot of the artworks with them,
00:20 just like colouring in stuff, drawing etc.
00:23 And one of the breaks that I had was to put together the first graphic novel.
00:29 So, which included a lot of their original comic strips.
00:35 And one of the great things that happened from that was that
00:39 we were actually sitting in their lounge one day and we had a phone call
00:45 and it was a woman saying she was a Hollywood film producer
00:51 and everyone was laughing and joking about it.
00:54 And then after several phone calls, eventually they took it seriously
00:59 and it turned out she was a Hollywood film producer
01:01 and she basically had heard about Tank Girl from her daughter
01:07 who had been reading the comic strips and decided that it would be a great idea for a film.
01:14 So it was turned into a Hollywood film and I think the star was starring Laurie Petty
01:20 and there was quite a lot of celebrities in it at the time.
01:24 And yeah, so that was produced back in the day.
01:27 And now I understand that she's been producing several Doctor Who series as well, actually.
