00:03 - Talking about tight ends here, Doc,
00:04 coming up this weekend and coming back from injuries,
00:07 Mark Andrews, one of those players
00:08 that we weren't sure if we would see again this season
00:10 unless the Baltimore Ravens advance
00:12 to at least the AFC Championship game.
00:14 Here we are in the AFC Championship game.
00:16 Mark Andrews, who practiced last week,
00:18 give us some prognosis this week
00:20 on what we can anticipate
00:21 to see if maybe Mark Andrews plays this week
00:23 and how well possibly he can play.
00:25 - I spoke on Sports Grid last week.
00:28 I didn't believe at all that Mark Andrews would play
00:31 in the divisional round,
00:33 despite two straight full practices.
00:35 'Cause the definition of full practice is not full health.
00:38 The definition of full practice
00:39 is the player did everything the team asked him to do.
00:43 And he didn't play.
00:44 Now, this week, all along,
00:46 I thought he had a chance to return,
00:48 a good chance to return to the Super Bowl.
00:50 He's a little ahead of that.
00:51 I think he can return Sam Laporta-esque
00:56 last week or this week
00:57 for this conference championship game,
01:00 and maybe be better than that.
01:01 Remember, the fracture is healed,
01:03 but there's associated soft tissue and ligament damage
01:06 and swelling still in that ankle
01:08 from that high ankle fracture.
01:10 - We have not seen Mark Andrews
01:13 in over two months since November 16th,
01:15 Thursday night football game against the Bengals
01:18 when he was injured on the opening offensive possession
01:21 for the Baltimore Ravens.
01:22 Now to the other side of the football, Dr. Chow,
01:24 for the flock, Marlon Humphrey,
01:26 if he is out there on Sunday,
01:28 we'll have a challenge to contain Patrick Mahomes
01:31 in Kansas City's offense.
01:33 What is the status of Marlon Humphrey
01:35 for Baltimore in the AFC championship game?
01:37 - Yeah, he's iffy with the calf strain.
01:40 And part of the reason with that
01:42 is it's his second time on the same calf,
01:44 and we haven't seen him since the injury.
01:47 So he's gotta make some good progress.
01:48 Remember, that's probably one of the worst positions
01:51 to have a calf injury.
01:52 You know, you have to defend, not know where you're going.
01:55 And so that is a big question mark.
