He's not finished yet

00:00 I remember the 2010 NFL draft and no one was more surprised than me when Tyson
00:07 Alualua was taken with the 10th overall pick. I guess one person who was more
00:12 surprised was probably Tyson Alualua. I don't think he expected to go that high.
00:18 He had just shown some stuff in the combine and at Cal that other people
00:23 apparently didn't see that Jacksonville liked. Now he came into the league as a
00:28 defensive end but he really blossomed as a nose tackle for the Pittsburgh
00:35 Steelers. That's when he really had his best years. Then he had that ankle
00:39 injury and it was a bad ankle injury. He had surgery and it took him a long time
00:43 to recover and he wasn't as good the next year. I was sort of assuming
00:49 that he would retire because he'd become a free agent but he had said all along
00:53 he wanted to play another year or two or whatever and he was hoping the
00:59 Steelers would re-sign him. They never did because he just hadn't been as
01:03 productive the previous season and as a person a year older it didn't make
01:08 sense for them to re-sign him. So he went along and nobody picked him up until
01:14 December 5th about what two-thirds three-quarters of the way through the
01:19 season they signed him and put him on the practice squad and he's been
01:23 elevated the last three games and I assume he'll be elevated for this
01:28 weekend's game against the Buccaneers.
