00:14 And today we're discussing mob wife aesthetic.

00:29 - So the mob wife aesthetic,
00:32 if you think of the clean girl aesthetic,
00:34 that's really natural looking, very plain, very simple.
00:38 It's the absolute complete opposite to that.
00:41 It's bold, it's brash, it's out there,
00:43 it's making a statement.
00:45 I'm kind of bringing the mob wife aesthetic today
00:47 with a bit of sort of big hair and makeup.
00:50 So I thought I'd fit in nicely, but yeah, it's basically-
00:53 - And I'm loving the look, Natalie.
00:56 - Yeah, we like a little bit of a red lip now and again.
00:59 - So we're going to talk about which celebrities
01:02 are embracing the mob wife aesthetic.
01:06 I don't know if we would call her,
01:07 well, she would like to be called,
01:09 but I don't know if I would call her a celebrity,
01:12 but let's talk about Lauren Sanchez.
01:15 So I always think sort of if I went in the street now
01:20 and I accosted people and I asked them,
01:22 who is Lauren Sanchez?
01:23 I would, as I said, cover your ears now, Lauren Sanchez,
01:27 but I think most people would not know who she is,
01:30 but let me explain.
01:32 So she is the fiance of Jeff Bezos,
01:34 and I'm sure everybody knows who Jeff Bezos is of Amazon.
01:39 And she was recently at his 60th birthday celebrations
01:44 wearing a very mob wife aesthetic look.
01:47 So Natalie, I know we don't have a photograph of it,
01:51 but I think we can describe it so you get the idea.
01:56 - Yeah, so fans were going wild for the fact that,
01:58 you know, she's got really jet black, dark hair,
02:01 and her outfit just screamed mob wife aesthetic
02:04 'cause it was all black.
02:06 It was almost a slight see-through material
02:09 with the Gucci, Gigi print all over it.
02:12 So yeah, Italian, dark, very mob wifey.
02:17 - And another celebrity who is very mob wife aesthetic
02:24 on trend at the moment is Dua Lipa.
02:27 And I think she's been embracing this look,
02:30 well, I say for quite a while.
02:32 For me, since December 2023, does seem quite a while
02:37 in terms of what happens in the celebrity world.
02:40 But she also seems to be liking sort of the black lace,
02:44 see-through mob wife look.
02:46 What are your thoughts on Dua Lipa
02:48 and the mob wife aesthetic, Natalie?
02:51 - Yeah, I love the fact that she's sort of wearing now
02:55 her sort of hair a little bit more of the darker,
02:57 deeper burgundy color.
02:59 It kind of goes well with sort of wearing the black outfits.
03:03 The lace dress that she wore to the gala in December
03:07 was a little bit revealing,
03:09 but lace black is exactly the kind of thing
03:12 you want to be wearing for this sort of style.
03:15 - And another celebrity who seems to be a fan,
03:20 I'd say probably she's been a fan,
03:21 not necessarily, let's say, of 2024 for quite a while.
03:25 So maybe we could call her an OG mob wife,
03:29 and that's Gwen Stefani.
03:31 So I think she's probably more of a fan
03:34 of the sort of heavily, sort of print dresses,
03:38 the clashing prints, and sort of animal prints,
03:41 like sort of like I'm wearing today.
03:43 So what do you think about Gwen Stefani
03:46 and mob wife, Natalie?
03:48 - Yeah, so with Gwen Stefani,
03:50 you instantly think the bold red lip,
03:53 which I think is perfect for this sort of new trend.
03:57 She's definitely been rocking it for many, many years,
04:01 but I think she's recently been pictured
04:04 sort of wearing a little bit more fur coats,
04:07 which again is kind of going in the same sort of trend.
04:10 I think she's very rock and roll,
04:14 and I think black leopard print faux fur,
04:17 then it kind of ticks all the boxes.
04:20 - Now, the one I was a little bit surprised of
04:25 when it came to sort of mob wife aesthetic,
04:28 the one I would never sort of think about in terms of,
04:32 I think in fact she's the opposite,
04:34 is the designer and the daughter
04:37 of Paul McCartney, Stella McCartney,
04:39 'cause I always associate her, as you said,
04:42 with the sort of aesthetic of the clean girl,
04:45 sort of neutral shades, uniformed kind of look,
04:50 but she seems to have gone sort of the opposite now
04:53 and is embracing the mob wife aesthetic.
04:55 What's your thoughts on Stella and her new look?
