00:00Yeah, certainly from my perspective as not a fan of either side, it seemed like a fair result for a really good game, quite frankly.
00:07I thought it was a fair representation of how it all went.
00:10I did want to ask you as well about Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher's comments after the match.
00:15He said that Mikel Arteta was getting a bit more like José Mourinho.
00:19It's hard to say if that's a compliment or not these days, but do you think that's actually reflected by the reality, Chris?
00:25Yeah, that's an interesting comment from Jamie Carragher.
00:31I feel like maybe sometimes, I'm talking more broadly speaking, I think sometimes pundits do say things for effect,
00:39especially when they know it gets clipped up on social media or go viral, especially when you're being watched by millions.
00:49And I think with this comment from Jamie Carragher, I'm not quite sure it holds too much weight.
00:54When you consider that Arsenal have had a number of injuries and suspensions this season,
00:59I think Arteta's hand has kind of been forced with some of the tactical decisions he's been made.
01:06You know, 10 men at City, injuries in defence, in midfield.
01:10I think I wouldn't really agree with what he says there.
01:15I think as well, Arsenal last season, they had the best attack, best defence in the league in terms of clean sheets and goals conceded, goals scored.
01:23That's not really a kind of Mourinho style team.
01:28We know how Mourinho has played, especially in the latter stages of his career.
01:32And I think Mikel Arteta has to be pragmatic with what he has.
01:37And I think at the end of the day, does it really matter how you play as a football team?
01:44The aim of the game is to win matches.
01:46I know there's this kind of thing from purists and maybe it kind of emanates from the Guardiola,
01:52the start of Guardiola's career and also Arsene Wenger as well, who was really big on kind of playing out of the back.
02:00It was always kind of levelled at Arsenal that they tried to walk the ball into the net.
02:04But I think now that that has changed completely.
02:08And I think Arsenal fans, if you ask them, they don't care.
02:11Scoring from corners, being the best at set pieces.
02:14It's exciting every time Arsenal have a chance now from a set piece.
02:18And I think a lot of the fans, if you ask them, they're happy with how Arsenal play at the moment.
02:24As long as points are being picked up, I think that's the main thing.
02:27Well, on that note, we do have to take a short break.
02:30We'll be back in just a couple of minutes.
