00:02 The Cal women wound up losing by 18 points tonight to number five,
00:06 Colorado out in Boulder, Colorado.
00:09 But it really wasn't an 18 point game.
00:11 The Bears were very competitive much of the night.
00:13 Their problem was, they had too many turnovers.
00:17 They didn't shoot the ball three well in the second half.
00:19 But the real problem was, at the end of each of the first three quarters,
00:23 they allowed the Buffaloes to go on a run which sort of extended the lead.
00:27 And Cal fought back, got back in the game each time within four, five, six points.
00:32 And then again, Colorado would close the next quarter with a little 6-0,
00:36 8-0, 10-0 burst to end the period.
00:38 Ultimately, Cal couldn't overcome that.
00:42 They're still having an excellent season,
00:43 the best they've had in five years under Smith.
00:46 They get ready now for Utah on Sunday morning in Salt Lake City.
00:52 The Utes are ranked number 19 in the country.
00:55 And they gave Stanford all they could handle tonight before the Cardinal escaped
00:59 with a two point victory out in Salt Lake.
