00:07 An Eastbourne charity has said it's at risk of folding and says it feels it was used by the council.
00:13 Defiant Sports was offered a joint five-year lease by Eastbourne Borough Council last spring to develop part of former amusement park Fort Farnsight into an accessible sports area for the community.
00:26 However, it was suddenly announced last month that Defiant Sports would no longer have any involvement in the site, a council decision that was reportedly out of the charity's hands.
00:35 Loretta Locke, Managing Director of Defiant Sports said "We've done an awful lot of work on that site that they now don't have to do. It's all empty words and promises. We are feeling like they used us."
00:47 The charity is now left without funding, which Mrs Locke said puts the organisation at risk of folding.

01:27 A crested black macaque called Ahsoka has joined Drusilla's and Alfie's as part of an international breeding programme for the species.
01:36 It's hoped that her presence will give the male macaque already at the zoo a boost in confidence and encourage his mating instincts.
01:43 The macaque is one of over 20 different endangered and rare species living at the East Sussex Zoo.
