00:00 Hi, my name's Megan, I'm a reporter for Sussex World and here are your top stories for today,
00:05 Monday February 12th. A 13 year old boy is in hospital after being stabbed in Hastings
00:10 when attackers demanded he hand over his coat. Emergency services were called to the bus
00:15 stop in Southdown Avenue at 3.30pm on Saturday February 10th. Following enquiries, a 13 year
00:22 old boy from St Leonard's has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. He remains in custody
00:27 at this time and police are appealing for witnesses who may have information that can
00:30 help the investigation. A stretch of the A27 and Ada will be closed overnight for weeks
00:36 from today for resurfacing works. From 8pm to 6am each weekday, the eastbound A27 will
00:43 be closed between the Ada Junction and the Hangleton Junction until February 27th. The
00:48 road will then be closed westbound from February 28th until March 22nd. Motorists have been
00:54 warned of delays as diversions are in place. And finally, fire crews rushed to a pub in
00:59 Horsham Town Centre yesterday after a blaze broke out. The fire, which started in the
01:05 cellar of the building, was spotted soon after 3.30pm at The Black Jug in North Street and
01:10 was thankfully put out safely with no casualties. The fire service determined that the cause
01:16 was accidental.
