00:02 - Hey, it's People in 10.
00:05 The love fest of the week has got to be the Golden Globes
00:08 and we do not mean love for Jo Koy, yikes.
00:11 But other stars used it as a date night or girls night.
00:15 You must have seen the Timothy Chalamet,
00:16 Kylie Jenner PDA by now.
00:18 It's all the internet can talk about.
00:21 Any lip readers out there, slide in our DMs.
00:23 And while Selena Gomez didn't win a globe,
00:26 she did get a few kisses from her boyfriend, Benny Blanco.
00:29 In a storage room?
00:31 Hmm.
00:31 And she caught up with her bestie, Taylor Swift.
00:34 More on that in a bit.
00:35 And she did it all in style.
00:38 Selena was radiant in red and she was not alone.
00:42 From Barry Keoghan and Io Adebre
00:44 to John Krasinski and Divine Joy Randolph,
00:47 who slayed in a metallic sequins top,
00:49 a trend that also had its moment.
00:51 Even Meryl got the memo.
00:53 Loving the menswear spin and that Benning wore a suit too.
00:56 And here come the men in black,
00:58 especially Bradley Cooper, looking dapper and adorable
01:02 with his mom as his date.
01:04 I guess we can't believe everything on the internet.
01:07 Selena was not gossiping about Timmy and Kylie at the Globes
01:11 even if a lot of people insisted she was.
01:14 So this is what went down.
01:15 Selena was seen spilling some tea
01:17 to Taylor Swift and Kelly Sperry.
01:19 Fans hopped online and swore the story was that Kylie
01:23 didn't let Timothy take a photo with Selena.
01:25 But Selena herself was clearing the air.
01:27 Turns out the topic of conversation was her two friends
01:31 that had hooked up, prompting that now viral reaction
01:34 from Taylor, "No bleeping way."
01:36 That jives with what a Selena source
01:38 already told us the day before.
01:40 Hmm.
01:42 So now that the Globes are in the bag,
01:44 that can only mean one thing.
01:45 Awards season is here, baby.
01:47 Next up, the Emmys on Monday.
01:49 I wanna know everything we can expect for TV's biggest night
01:53 and I know just the guy to call.
01:55 (phone ringing)
01:56 - Hey, Mako, what's up?
01:57 - Hey, Jared.
01:58 Okay, how excited are you that the Emmys are here?
02:00 There's some really exciting stars
02:02 and shows in these categories.
02:04 Break this down for me.
02:05 Are we gonna see anyone sweep?
02:07 - I think we're gonna see a bit of a repeat
02:08 of what we just saw at the Golden Globes
02:10 where it's all about succession.
02:13 - It seems like they have it in the bag,
02:14 but White Lotus might give 'em a run for their money.
02:18 - What's interesting here is that all of the actors
02:20 compete in the supporting categories.
02:21 None of them are considered leads.
02:23 So when you look at supporting actress,
02:25 five of the eight nominees are from the White Lotus,
02:28 of course led by the fantastic Jennifer Coolidge
02:30 who the gays tried to kill her,
02:32 but hopefully the Academy doesn't try to take away her Emmy.
02:34 So that's how I feel about that one.
02:36 - Since you're making me laugh, let's talk about comedy.
02:38 - This is really tough because Ted Lasso won
02:40 for its first two seasons,
02:42 but Abbott Elementary should have won for its first season.
02:44 So there could be a little like, you know what?
02:46 Let's kind of like right that wrong.
02:48 But the Bear, I think is the one
02:50 that should probably take it over those two.
02:54 - Yes, chef.
02:55 All right, let's talk about surprises.
02:57 Any surprises for you?
02:58 - Jury duty.
02:59 That's what I wanna see win the best comedy category
03:02 because that show was lightning in a bottle.
03:04 You're not gonna get that again.
03:05 - Oh, they are just really, really good.
03:07 And by the way, we're gonna see you
03:09 on the red carpet too, right?
03:10 - Yeah, I will be there.
03:11 We have our live red carpet pre-show
03:13 going on for a couple of hours.
03:14 Our folks will be talking to all the big stars.
03:16 - Well, Garrett, I know you're gonna crush it, friend.
03:18 Have the most amazing time and I'll talk to you later.
03:21 - Thank you, I'm so excited.
03:22 See ya, bye. - Bye.
03:24 - Okay, so does anyone else get a little thrill
03:26 when a super private celeb drops big personal news?
03:30 Like Halle Bailey and rapper DDG having a baby.
03:33 Huge.
03:34 They named him Halo, perfect name for an angel.
03:37 But she never actually confirmed her pregnancy
03:39 the entire nine months.
03:41 This girl can keep a secret.
03:42 Well, it may have taken a while, but it's official.
03:46 Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are over.
03:49 Lisa filed for divorce this week,
03:50 two years after they told us they were splitting up.
03:53 I'm so sad.
03:54 Is love dead?
03:55 It feels like it's dead.
03:56 Lisa's asking for joint custody of their two teens
03:59 and no spousal support for either her or Jason.
04:02 Oh, and get this, the date of separation
04:04 in her paperwork is October of 2020.
04:07 That's almost a year and a half
04:08 before they even revealed the breakup.
04:11 So this has been brewing for longer than we thought.
04:14 Okay, so we got an update in our beef of the week.
04:18 Aaron Rodgers refuses to say sorry
04:20 for suggesting Jimmy Kimmel has ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
04:23 Jimmy wasn't on the Epstein list, by the way,
04:26 and was obviously pretty upset about what Aaron was implying.
04:29 Now this week, Aaron's not quite admitting
04:31 he did anything wrong.
04:32 He's just saying they've been at odds since the pandemic
04:35 and that we all misunderstood him.
04:37 I don't think he's the people's word.
04:40 I wish him the best.
04:42 Again, I don't give a what he says about me.
04:44 But as long as he understands what I actually said
04:48 and that I'm not accusing him of being on a list,
04:53 then I'm all for moving forward.
04:55 Imagine going about your day
04:57 and all of a sudden an iPhone falls from the sky.
05:00 A phone apparently fell 16,000 feet
05:02 from that Alaska Airlines plane,
05:04 the one that made an emergency landing
05:06 after a chunk of the cabin blew out midair.
05:09 I know, and as if that's not wild enough.
05:12 It was still pretty clean, no scratches on it,
05:15 sitting under a bush,
05:16 and it didn't have a screen lock on it.
05:19 So I opened it up and it was an airplane mode
05:22 with a travel confirmation and baggage claim
05:24 for Alaska 1282.
05:26 This is reportedly the second phone
05:28 from the flight found in the area.
05:30 Anyone know what phone case this is?

05:33 We're true crime lovers here,
05:35 and today we're asking who the elf did it,
05:38 brought to you by Elf Cosmetics.
05:40 So "Cosmetic Criminals" is a new parody documentary
05:43 on Freebie that takes a hard look
05:45 at who the elf is elf-pinching
05:47 Olivia's favorite beauty products.
05:49 - Am I going crazy?
05:52 Or is someone stealing my makeup?
05:58 - Heartbreaking.
05:59 How is a high school senior gonna get by
06:01 without her favorite lipstick?
06:03 And with an entire household of suspects
06:05 across generations, it could be anybody.
06:08 Plus the biggest mystery of all,
06:10 why don't they have their own elf cosmetics
06:12 in the first place?
06:14 - Elf is so affordable, just buy your own!
06:17 - Hmm, shining a light on such a tough topic.
06:20 You can find out who's behind the crime
06:22 by watching on Amazon Freebie

06:30 Five questions with Adrienne Bailon-Houghton.
06:32 Hi, Adrienne.
06:34 So Adrienne, I can see your voice is back.
06:36 If you could describe season three in three words,
06:39 what would they be?
06:40 - I would say insane, hilarious,
06:45 and it's got a lot of heart, so I'd say heart.
06:50 Yeah, some of the stories,
06:52 I think one of the greatest things about the show
06:54 is obviously we're laughing and it's a fun guessing game,
06:58 but I think one of the most beautiful things
06:59 and the heart of the show is really our contestants
07:02 who are, you know, what is their reason?
07:04 What is their story?
07:05 Why do they want this $100,000 so badly?
07:07 So I think that makes it really special.
07:10 - The concept is really neat, right?
07:11 So the contestant weeds out the bad singers
07:14 from the good singers,
07:15 and then the last one left gets to duet with a vocalist.
07:18 So if you could duet or collab with anybody
07:21 outside of your husband Israel, who would it be?
07:24 - I would want to do a collab with Becky G.
07:29 Just Latina girl, girl power vibes.
07:33 I just feel like that would be really dope.
07:36 You know, maybe remix.

08:01 Like I thought his first Christmas
08:03 was gonna be like the greatest thing ever.

08:25 there's just nothing like it.
08:27 There's nothing, nothing like it.
08:29 - I know you're a singer.

08:35 - If I could see ever's voice,
08:37 I would bet the whole $100,000 that boy can sing.
08:41 - Really?
08:42 - He loves music.
08:43 And if I do something, he'll try to sing it back to me.
08:47 So I'm like, fingers crossed.
08:49 I hope he sounds more like daddy than me,

08:53 - We are such fans of your fashion sense.
08:55 What are some of your style goals for 2024?
08:58 What are you vibing with right now?
09:00 - I think some of my styles for 2024
09:02 is to really become a minimalist.
09:05 I know that that sounds crazy,
09:07 but even going to grab what I wanted to wear today,
09:09 I was like, there's so much in my closet that I don't wear,
09:12 that I don't reach for.
09:13 So I think for me, fashion is now becoming
09:15 really streamlined and finding things
09:17 that you absolutely love, that fit you well,
09:19 that you reach for, that you can wear
09:21 in so many different ways.

09:32 and maybe weed out some of the other crazy things
09:35 that are happening in my closet.
09:36 - We're officially in the midst of award season.
