00:00 Rodney is such an interesting and great player because he came in this summer and
00:04 he immediately was pushing guys, pushing in practice, pushing for minutes,
00:09 pushing to be the best version of himself.
00:11 Had a little injury or two maybe over the summer and
00:15 maybe hit a little bit of that freshman wall just over the summer with the amount
00:20 of information, but he has just hit his stride and he's showing,
00:24 what he really showed us a lot of the summer, the ability to shoot the ball.
00:28 You started to see in the UCLA game his ability to pass the ball and play make.
00:33 He has the size and the stature to see over defenses.
00:36 Had a great assist to Fardos early in the second half.
00:39 It really just makes everybody better.
00:41 He's long, I don't know if he's 6'5" or 6'6", but he's long with long arms.
00:46 And so that can help defensively and rebound wise.
00:48 >> His demeanor on the floor, it looks like for
00:50 a freshman, plays with a lot of confidence, self-assuredness.
00:54 >> Yeah, Rodney Brown never gets rattled.
00:56 Rodney is someone who's very poised.
00:59 He has great composure.
01:00 But again, there's always that transition going from high school basketball to
01:03 college.
01:04 And even in the earliest parts of the transition, for
01:07 example, in that tournament down in South Orange County, he had great moments.
01:13 I mean, you look at the San Diego State game, he really helped us get back into
01:17 that game and have a chance to win it.
