00:10 I know this is a new spot.
00:12 Hello everyone, welcome to the- >> We like this spot, you like it?
00:14 >> Appreciate that, welcome.
00:15 It's just normal over there, so appreciate you guys for visiting.
00:20 They all look the same, I feel like you guys- >> Rice,
00:23 Hayden was just saying, Hearst was just saying that it almost seemed like
00:27 you had too many voices this year talking to you.
00:30 What's your thought on that?
00:32 >> I mean, I feel like that's always a part of, it's a part of the position,
00:36 it's a part of everyone is always, everyone wants to help, that's the thing.
00:41 Everyone's involved, everyone's invested.
00:43 And I don't feel like it was too much.
00:45 I feel like we all wanna get coached, we all wanna be,
00:49 we all wanna console others.
00:51 I've definitely been to Hayden's.
00:53 Hayden's been great to work with.
00:55 He's been great on the field and off the field.
00:58 I've learned a lot from him.
00:59 So I really, I appreciate it.
01:01 I know where he's coming from, but I think that's part of it.
01:05 You balance it, and I'm just grateful for the buy-in that everyone has.
01:08 Sam, Mr. Franklin.
01:10 >> So when Sam Franklin beat you in basketball,
01:12 are you gonna give him a signed jersey?
01:13 >> Yeah, no, I got you, bro.
01:15 When that happens, I'll give you a signed jersey.
01:17 Then I'll wake up.
01:18 You'll end up waking up from your dream, realizing it didn't happen.
01:22 And then you'll, hey, we're gonna, actually, I'll tell you about it later.
01:26 >> We're gonna come back to that.
01:29 >> What's up?
01:29 >> Given the turnover, the frank, the three different changes that
01:35 play fall in, how much of that do they have to give back?
01:40 >> I mean, it's not just me.
01:42 That's stuff that we all, as a unit, we all went through.
01:48 But ultimately, we had the same heat break at building.
01:52 Obviously, unfortunately, people left.
01:54 But it wasn't like they brought in anything new in.
01:57 And that's part of the job.
01:59 It's part of being a pro.
02:00 You gotta show up every week and put that game plan in, master it.
02:04 Whether it was the same person, different person, that was the same process.
02:08 So, again, that's part of it.
02:10 But ultimately, I feel like we put in the situation,
02:14 I was put in the situation to succeed.
02:16 A lot of stuff I wanna work on and clean up.
02:19 That'll be my work ethic.
02:21 >> You've been exposed to a lot of the infamy of the NFL.
02:24 Guys who get fired, guys whose jobs get hurt.
02:26 So we got Scott's, the latest.
02:28 How tough is it to see that,
02:30 understanding that he was part of the team that moved up so
02:33 aggressively to bring you here?
02:35 >> Yeah, like you said, it's a tough part of business.
02:38 And I definitely do appreciate that.
02:42 Like you said, they obviously played a big part in just allowing me to be here.
02:45 And that took a lot.
02:47 I'm very grateful for that.
02:49 I wish nothing but the best for him moving forward.
02:51 But it's definitely tough to see.
02:53 >> Obviously, not the season you guys wanted.
02:56 Does this offer you a fresh start, a new head coach, new general manager?
03:01 Kind of from the top of the table.
03:02 >> Yeah, I think that's kind of how we all look at it.
03:04 It's where you said, we're all gonna start to join as your own next year.
03:09 So I think you get optimism of that, of it being a fresh starting,
03:13 next year being a new year.
03:14 But also, we know you're not just entitled to that, because it's a later date.
03:21 We have to put the work in.
03:21 We have to take ownership.
03:23 We have to do better.
03:24 We have off season, we have the season, all the other things.
03:26 So we're all excited for what the future holds.
03:31 And we have to do everything we can to take advantage of that.
03:33 >> This is your first of probably many move out days.
03:35 Like what are you feeling right now?
03:37 Describe the environment.
03:38 >> Yeah, it's rough.
03:41 Again, like I said, it's the last time that we're all gonna be,
03:44 the coach just said that, it's the last time we're all gonna be here.
03:47 The locker room's gonna look the exact same.
03:48 But we come to work every day with the same people, man.
03:52 So you develop and grow a lot of relationships with those people.
03:56 So it's gonna be rough, it just not being that.
03:59 And we're all gonna be in different places.
04:00 And I'm definitely gonna miss everyone.
04:02 So just kind of trying to soak it in.
04:05 >> Bryce, you've been through a lot this season.
04:09 Obviously not the results you wanted on the scoreboard.
04:12 But with all that you've learned, especially the speed of the game and
04:17 getting used to all those things.
04:19 How comfortable do you feel transitioning into the next season once they rearrange
04:25 you?
04:26 >> Yeah, I'm definitely confident just cuz I believe in,
04:31 believe myself, believe in this organization.
04:36 We don't know 100% what everything's gonna look like.
04:39 But I'm confident in whatever decisions they make and how they choose.
04:44 I'm just as a competitor.
04:45 I wanna do everything I can to, and really to build that confidence and
04:49 that I feel like for me, it's always kind of result of the offseason.
04:53 Of pushing myself in the offseason, feeling good and
04:57 making sure that it kind of helps hold me accountable.
04:59 So that I kind of feel like I can earn that confidence and
05:01 earn that throughout the offseason.
05:02 So I'll map out that plan and figure it out.
05:05 But again, ultimately I have a lot of confidence in this.
05:09 >> Do you feel like you got better this year?
05:11 >> Yeah, I definitely, I think I've grown for sure.
05:16 Just from first game and being in the lead and
05:20 just trying to figure everything out to now.
05:22 There's definitely stuff I feel more comfortable with and
05:24 feel like I've grown.
05:25 But also I feel like there's a ton more growth to do.
05:28 And again, right now, we still haven't had really that time to sit back and
05:32 reflect and have that big picture stuff.
05:33 That'll be a process throughout the offseason.
05:36 But I'll be excited also to attack those things that I wanna continue to grow.
05:40 >> Is there one play during the season where we can point back and
05:43 say that's a Bryce Young play?
05:44 >> I don't know if that one's up for me to decide, to be honest with you.
05:49 I try to, I don't, I feel like that's more of an outside thing of this is,
05:54 I try to be the best that I can and most efficient I can in the system and
05:57 just try to execute.
05:58 So yeah, I don't know if I have anything that kind of fits that.
06:05 >> What was the low point this season and why?
06:08 >> I think just losing Coach Wright was tough.
06:14 Again, we all, as our coach, we all,
06:19 again, it's a lot of movement.
06:22 Whenever people are leaving the building, it's hard, it's difficult.
06:26 I think that was definitely something that was rough.
06:29 But through those rough times, it helps you come closer together.
06:33 We all felt that, we all experienced that together and
06:35 it brought us together and made us closer.
06:37 But it was tough, for sure.
06:41 >> With Dan Morgan stepping in to be intern,
06:44 what's your relationship like with him, your experiences with him this season?
06:48 >> Yeah, really, really good dude, really excited for that as well.
06:53 Obviously, he cares a lot about the organization,
06:55 obviously has a history and everything here.
06:59 And I know that he's gonna be dedicated, he's gonna do everything,
07:04 everything the right way, do it well, so I'm excited.
07:08 >> [INAUDIBLE]
07:18 >> We haven't, it's been all hands on deck,
07:28 just trying to win games.
07:29 Last game was less than, it was 12 or whatever hours ago.
07:35 So we haven't had a conversation about anything in the offseason.
07:39 That's, we've all been, while we're here, let's finish,
07:44 let's make sure we take it week by week and we're just getting started.
07:49 >> Can you talk about doing things together?
07:53 Can you elaborate on brotherhood and
07:56 how much that's meant to you this season?
08:00 >> Yeah, it's meant the world to me.
08:02 Obviously, being a rookie, being in a new environment and everything,
08:05 being able to lean on my teammates, lean on my brothers for that.
08:09 Again, obviously, I'm not the season lead, we won it in the lows.
08:12 And we're able to go through that with other people that are willing to try to
08:17 pick you up, willing to push you, willing to just be there for you.
08:21 And we're all willing and capable of doing that for each other,
08:24 which I'm super grateful for.
08:27 >> Last one, can you talk about the Chicago,
08:30 when you felt the need to speak to the team after that?
08:35 You were pretty fired up, mad, disappointed, just your emotions that night.
08:40 >> Yeah, I mean, that was weeks ago now, it's kinda hard to get back in there.
08:45 But I think there's been times like that from different people throughout the team.
08:50 But we just all care, we all want what's best.
08:54 And at the time, I thought it was the time for me to speak, and again,
08:57 I'm not the, that's happened before.
08:59 It's just we all try to step up in those moments, and we're all competitors.
09:03 So after a loss, no one likes doing that.
09:07 And that was really just wanting us to be at our best.
09:12 >> And what would you like the new coach to say to you?
09:18 >> Again, I haven't really had that time to reflect and to do that self scout.
09:24 I'll definitely sit down, I'll watch every snap, go through it,
09:28 chart things, figure out strengths of the week, all that stuff.
09:33 Again, I don't wanna just say something random and it not be the truth.
09:36 But I'll know when I get a chance to do that.
09:40 >> All right, thank you, buddy.
