01:16 and so broken and so layered and so flawed and so wonderful.
01:20 All of those things rolled into one.

01:22 Yeah, I feel like this is a full circle moment where we were able to apply all the things
01:27 that I've been wanting to do for a long time.

01:30 Things that I maybe got bits and pieces in other parts and so this was just such a full
01:36 body experience to have amazing director like Alexander Payne that's fully on board to help
01:41 and support me in doing that and the phenomenal writing of having a woman of color being this
01:46 multifaceted complex woman who's not afraid to speak how she feels.
01:51 She drinks, she smokes, she tells it how it is.
01:53 And I love too that, you know, she's a woman of purpose and that as you know, women in
01:59 general but especially women of color, we know how to persevere and push through in
02:05 spite of our situation.

02:08 In spite of the trials and tribulations and so for me this woman embodies so many women
02:12 in my life and so many women in history.
02:15 Now I know that I was told you were also like a trained opera singer.

02:22 And you're a trained, like I mean, I don't know, like a Marian Anderson or someone.
