00:02 - Let's start with CD Lamb.
00:05 10,000 on Fandul.
00:08 When's the last time a receiver commanded that number?
00:11 9,300 on DK, start there.
00:13 - It's not as long ago as you think.
00:16 I mean, Justin Jefferson in his, you know, healthy times.
00:20 He could get up there.
00:22 I remember the past years of Antonio Brown
00:26 before Antonio Brown became Antonio Brown
00:28 when he was just Antonio Brown, the wide receiver.
00:31 He had some pretty high price tags that were up there too,
00:33 and he would deliver.
00:34 And that's the thing.
00:35 It's like, you're paying this premium productivity
00:36 for the best wide receiver on the planet.
00:38 A guy coming off a 227 yard receiving game,
00:41 you're paying a premium for recency bias.
00:44 But he's had a touchdown in every single game since week 10.
00:49 Just wanna put that out there.
00:50 It's week 18, every single game he's had a touchdown.
00:54 So in terms of, you know, getting it right,
00:56 he is the wide receiver one on the year.
00:57 He's got 1600 receiving yards on the season.
01:00 He's got 12 receiving touchdowns this year.
01:03 I mean, the guy's just been unbelievable.
01:04 But what also is unbelievable is the price tag.
01:07 And it is large when it comes to CV Lamb today.
01:11 And it's tough to get in there.
01:12 Now, again, we talk about some of the guys
01:14 that you can pivot to.
01:15 We talked about Pierre Strong, right?
01:16 We talked about some others, Amir White, right?
01:18 There's places where you can start to find some latitude
01:22 with the budget, but you're probably gonna have to go down
01:24 to the Trod Taylor as a quarterback, right?
01:26 Which is okay, that's not a bad idea.
01:28 The other thing you have to ask yourself too
01:30 is when you look at the splits here, this is a road game.
01:33 And this offense has not been the same on the road
01:35 as it has been at home.
01:36 Yes, they've still been good at times,
01:38 but they haven't been quite the dominant turf show
01:42 that they have been when you get them out there in space.
01:44 The Washington Commanders, we know are kind of a team
01:46 that probably is gonna have some more changes ahead of them.
01:49 Probably a team that is looking to the off season,
01:53 not so much this game potentially,
01:55 but it is also an indivision game.
01:56 So you just never know when the commanders show up
01:58 'cause they've shown up twice against the Eagles.
02:00 So it's really hard to gauge this squad.
02:03 He is a very good investment in terms of productivity.
02:07 In terms of price, he is a difficult one.
02:10 He's at the top of the board for a reason,
02:11 but this price is really baked into how good
02:13 he was last week.
02:14 So is he gonna have another 30 point day?
02:16 It's asking a lot because some of the other good days
02:19 you're looking at 22 points, 26 points,
02:21 that's not really three X value for a wide receiver or 10K.
02:24 So it is a lot.
02:25 It's probably too much for me.
02:27 And especially when you're considering the situation
02:29 on the road, I think that's another factor.
02:31 And the last time we faced the commanders,
02:33 four catches for 53 yards and a touchdown,
02:35 that's a good day, that's 15 half PPR points.
02:37 That's not 10K return on value.
02:39 And I'm not saying we're gonna copy and paste.
02:41 And I'm not saying that it's not week 18
02:43 and the commanders aren't gonna potentially quit
02:45 and not wanna guard C.D. Lamb,
02:47 but you're really threading the needle with 10K.
02:49 Where C.D. Lamb has to be pretty much the guy
02:51 he was last week.
02:52 And I just don't know if that's in the cards.
02:54 I think that's asking a lot.
