00:13Look, this is not hating the player, it's hating the situation a little bit.

00:21You're not sitting D.K. Metcalf, but I think it is telling that he is ranked 24th in the
00:25expert consensus rankings on fantasy pros this week.
00:28Last week, he was shadowed by Patrick Sertan.
00:30We saw what happened.
00:31Basically, he shut him down.
00:33Three receptions for 29 yards, and that's a problem, right?
00:36That's not the best situation here for D.K. Metcalf.
00:39This week, he gets Christian Gonzalez, another really good cover corner.
00:41So it could be some limitations there in an offense that's still working the kinks out.
00:46We know that Ken Walker is not going to play in this game today.
00:48Zach Charbonneau is going to play, so they're already kind of maneuvering the offense in
00:53some different patterns.
00:54Again, I just want to reiterate, you're not sitting D.K. Metcalf.

00:59Maybe you're looking for some unders there in the yardage totals.

01:16share in week one.
01:18We'll see what numbers carry over against a small sample size, right?
01:21So we're still trying to figure out who everybody is.
01:24And when you have a new coach and a new offense, you're still trying to figure that out, too.
01:28And it's going to take a little while.
01:29D.K. Metcalf is an interesting buy low, though, after this week.
01:33If he has another quiet game, I'd be all over him.
01:36The next couple weeks, he gets Miami, Detroit, and the New York Giants.
01:40So those are three great matchups there for him going forward.
01:43So keep that in mind here as you're looking ahead on D.K. Metcalf.
01:47If you have designs to buy on him, wait for this week, see if it's quiet, and then reap
01:53the rewards of what's coming up.
01:54Because what's coming up is a really good situation where he would bounce back and bounce
01:57back in a big way.
01:58So D.K. is a little bit of a fade this week.
