00:00 Through a fascinating experiment
00:02 with artificial intelligence,
00:03 I uncovered untapped opportunities and looming threats
00:07 that could revolutionize or topple businesses.
00:10 The astounding result, a saving of over $100,000
00:14 in just one year.
00:16 My deep dive into AI not only slashed business expenses,
00:20 but also inspired my latest book,
00:22 "The Wolf Is at the Door, How to Survive and Thrive
00:25 in an AI-Driven World."
00:27 I even have a free chapter from my new book below
00:29 to help set you up for success in 2024.
00:32 But first, let's break down how I used AI
00:36 to save over $100,000 in my business.
00:40 The first and biggest savings kicked off in marketing
00:43 and using AI to help me refine my focus.
00:46 The pandemic forced me to downsize my business,
00:49 leaving a void where a capable marketing manager
00:51 once resided.
00:53 Instead of filling this role, I leaned into AI
00:56 and categorized the areas which I could use it
00:59 to save and make the most money.
01:02 This included email marketing,
01:04 content production, and decision-making.
01:07 The first area was to analyze video and email content
01:10 to better understand what moved the needle
01:13 in generating leads and sales,
01:15 and which topics best appeal to my target audience
01:18 based on 12 months worth of content.
01:21 This process included prompting ChatGPT
01:25 to analyze the top videos I produced the year prior,
01:28 then writing email campaigns to drive more traffic to them.
01:32 From here, I prompted the AI to map out a series of emails
01:36 that drove further engagement,
01:38 and used it to come up
01:39 with countless email subject line variations
01:42 to increase email open and click-through rates,
01:45 which had a direct impact on sales and profit margins.
01:49 As with any marketing campaigns,
01:51 there's a level of testing and measuring.
01:53 Here, you're shrinking the learning curve
01:55 by leveraging and optimizing what you already have.
01:59 ChatGPT can highlight the attributes
02:02 of what is and what isn't working for you,
02:05 telling you precisely where to optimize in your business.
02:08 Where it became a huge time-saver
02:10 was to leverage AI to create summaries
02:13 of my new podcast series,
02:15 saving hours, generating timestamps, transcriptions,
02:19 and identifying marketing-worthy content.
02:23 On top of uploading long-form video content to AI
02:27 to edit hundreds of YouTube shorts in minutes
02:30 and provide captions.
02:32 However, there is something that you don't wanna do.
02:35 Do not ask AI to mimic someone else's writing
02:38 or marketing style.
02:40 Why?
02:41 It completely destroys your own personal brand.
02:45 You see, if AI can do your job better,
02:47 faster, and cheaper than you can,
02:49 if you mimic others' work,
02:51 you void yourself of all of the other factors
02:54 that make you stand out.
02:56 You also give clients and a boss
02:59 a reason to use AI over you,
03:02 especially considering that AI reduces the friction
03:05 in obtaining information.
03:07 It's now easier for a client or a boss
03:09 to ask AI directly and completely bypass the need for you.
03:14 That's why in my new book,
03:15 I cover the top 10 threats and rules
03:17 to help you navigate this new era we're living in.
03:20 But before you download your free chapter
03:22 to help prepare you for the new year,
03:24 here's the second way I used it
03:26 to help me save tens of thousands of dollars.
03:29 I used it as a full-time editor,
03:32 not just for my marketing collateral, but for my new book.
03:35 Traditionally, writing a new book
03:36 means hiring full-time editors and researchers,
03:40 but not this time.
03:41 Thanks to Perplexity AI, a diligent research partner,
03:45 I could delve into academic papers,
03:48 interact with their contents,
03:49 and pinpoint exact answers needed,
03:52 saving weeks of research and tens of thousands of dollars.
03:56 But here's where I didn't use it, to write the book itself.
04:00 As it stands, we can't copyright AI-generated images,
04:04 writing, or video according to a ruling
04:07 by the US Copyright Office.
04:09 This is something that many businesses
04:11 are completely overlooking.
04:13 If you actively use AI in your actual products,
04:18 you have no legal protection
04:20 if someone decides to use that content and repackage it.
04:24 Copyright exists to protect your revenue streams.
04:28 If you're leveraging generative AI tools
04:30 for any aspect of your content or product creation,
04:33 be it the cover art for a product,
04:35 the backdrop for your video, or anything else,
04:37 it is immensely beneficial to infuse
04:40 as much human creativity into the process as you can.
04:44 For example, I had to write my book in a way
04:47 that isn't easily duplicated by AI,
04:50 by including twists and turns and unexpected surprises.
04:54 This wasn't just to afford copyright protection.
04:57 It is also to combat the fact that AI-generated content
05:01 is flooding our social media spaces.
05:04 And more important, now than ever before,
05:07 you must produce content that stands out
05:10 against a tsunami of new information.
05:13 And if you provide information-based products to clients,
05:16 you must also be able to demonstrate
05:18 clearly why they should use you
05:20 versus using AI which may be cheaper
05:23 and faster than what you'll ever be.
05:26 The third but not last way I used AI to save money
05:29 was to use it to curtail my attorney fees.
05:33 But this comes with caution.
05:35 I used ChatGPT acting as an immigration attorney
05:38 and a contract lawyer to answer pressing questions.
05:42 Remember, when dealing with AI in legal matters,
05:45 always prompt the AI to show its work
05:47 and provide citations and legal references for validation.
05:52 However, the most astonishing way
05:54 AI saved me a significant amount of money
05:56 was entirely unexpected and it left me dumbfounded.
06:00 My miniature rescue Yorkie Mitch
06:03 was facing digestive issues.
06:05 After spending well over $1,000 on vet bills,
06:09 we were still puzzled about the cause.
06:11 But the moment I uploaded his most recent blood work
06:15 into an AI tool and then ran
06:17 a hypothetical diagnostic scenario,
06:20 the issue was pinpointed.
06:23 And here's where you need to listen closely.
06:25 More people and businesses are vulnerable
06:27 to being replaced by AI than what is realized.
06:32 As you can see from the examples I've shared,
06:34 it saved me well over $100,000.
06:37 But it fully replaced an editor and a marketing manager
06:41 while partially replacing an attorney and a veterinarian.
06:45 No one is out of reach.
06:47 Equip yourself now by understanding
06:49 the problems and possibilities
