00:00 Here on the third day of the Premier Weiner sales here at Wodonga, we're with Scott Tamble,
00:08 auctioneer with Peter Rue Livestock and Rodwells.
00:12 Scott, how did you see today's sale with the Herefords in the colour Euro Breeze?
00:19 Well year in year out you have a different set of buyers pretty much for this coloured
00:23 sale as for our black sale that we had a couple of days ago.
00:27 I thought that I got the cattle sold pretty well for what's been going on in and around.
00:33 The cattle were as usual with most of the cattle that line up year in year out were
00:38 impeccable.
00:39 Some great lines of cattle, some big lines of cattle and I think you'll find that the
00:43 bigger lines of cattle sold a little bit better than some of the other cattle with the lead
00:48 of our Hereford steers making up to probably $3.15 in places and then the littler cattle
00:55 probably a little bit dearer.
00:56 There was plenty of competition right across the board for the Hereford cattle.
01:00 We had an unbelievable run of Euro cattle here today, a lot of really good Charolette
01:03 cross cattle that sold really well.
01:06 They've headed back to Wumba and back into the Tamworth areas and up into Inverel and
01:13 a really good cross section of buyers buying a lot of coloured cattle right across the
01:17 board.
