00:00 Starting to get your feet and your legs back under you.
00:03 Obviously, no pun intended, when they were swept out from under you on the,
00:08 I'm sure, kind of traumatic traffic incident you had on campus a couple weeks back.
00:13 But getting back into the rhythm of things,
00:15 is that how it's kind of feeling over the past couple games?
00:17 >> Yeah, I guess I could say that.
00:20 I mean, it's definitely starting to feel much better to be out there on the court.
00:25 It was kind of a frustrating start to the season,
00:27 cuz even before the car accident, like you mentioned,
00:30 I had a few other minor injuries that I never really had to deal with back
00:35 in my college career or even before that.
00:37 So it was kind of frustrating not being at 100% and
00:40 not being able to practice all the time.
00:42 But yeah, now I've been kind of been able to stay healthy for
00:49 the past few weeks.
00:50 So yeah, kind of getting back into the rhythm is how I describe it.
00:54 And hopefully, I can start turning the corner here soon.
00:57 >> Yeah, Seamus, so you talk about that comeback,
01:01 you have your confidence a little bit back after the last few games.
01:07 Just talk about that a little bit more.
01:08 Last night, you had a real efficient night, three for four shooting,
01:11 three from three from beyond the arc.
01:12 Are you starting to feel that confidence come back now that you are getting fully
01:15 healthy?
01:16 And how does that prepare you heading into this non,
01:18 the last two games of non-conference play?
01:20 >> I mean, yeah, I guess, really, my confidence is coming back.
01:26 And just in general, the game's moving slower and
01:31 it's just easier to move out there on the court now that I'm always in practice and
01:36 I'm always feeling healthy.
01:38 And that's really been the biggest difference in terms of mentally.
01:42 And yeah, yesterday, I've been trying to be more kind of more aggressive.
01:48 Yesterday was a little bit difficult because they were playing the zone.
01:51 So you just have to take what they give you.
01:53 And but yeah, hopefully, I can keep being more aggressive and
01:58 bring more to the team like I expected to from the start of the season.
02:02 >> Yeah, you talk about that zone.
02:05 Just what was the, it was a unique zone last night, that little one, three,
02:08 one combo.
02:09 What made that zone so frustrating a little bit last night for you guys?
02:12 >> Because they don't really give you a lot.
02:15 Like, they're gonna let you, they're not trying to let you enter the ball into
02:18 the high post, but and they're gonna make every pass difficult.
02:22 So you kind of have to be really patient, really strong with the ball, but
02:25 also you have to find the exact perfect pass that they're giving you at
02:29 any single moment.
02:30 And we sometimes struggle with that, but
02:33 thankfully it kind of worked out in the end.
02:35 >> How exciting has it been for you as a playmaker and
02:38 a guy who has been the lead ball handler at times of this team to
02:42 have a new option out there in Jamil Reynolds?
02:44 A guy that can, at his size, also put it on the floor and give you a little bit
02:49 more of a kind of range to work with as a passer when you're feeding him on this
02:53 post, both post touches or in transition or just in the movement of the offense.
02:58 >> Yeah, I mean, it's very exciting, especially yesterday.
03:00 I mean, you saw yourself, it's sometimes crazy how you just wanna throw it in
03:04 the post and just watch him go to work.
03:06 Cuz he really can do some special things down there.
03:09 And I've seen it in practice the whole year, and
03:11 I'm excited that he's finally able to show it to you guys as well in the games.
