00:00 execution and we're gonna take a really good game by us.
00:03 >> Coach talked about the noise level, you guys wanna bring your own noise, but
00:07 Arrowhead is one of the loudest stadiums.
00:09 How much impact will that have on what you guys do at the offensive line?
00:13 >> Yeah, obviously it's another factor that you have to deal with that we
00:19 haven't had to at home.
00:20 And so, yeah, it's gonna be different.
00:22 It's gonna take another layer of communication from us.
00:25 So it's gonna take a lot, specifically this week,
00:28 in terms of trying to make it hard on ourselves during practice.
00:32 >> Trey was saying he kind of feels a special connection with you,
00:34 that you guys bonded dating all the way back to rookie mini camp or whatever.
00:37 What went into that with you guys clicking so quickly?
00:41 >> Yeah, I think, like he said, I think when you come in with somebody,
00:45 when we've been through a lot together, rookie mini camp, first and foremost.
00:50 And then everything from their OTAs, training camp, into the season.
00:54 I think we're experiencing a lot of the same things for the first time.
00:57 And I think that gives you a special connection with somebody.
01:00 And Trey's an awesome guy.
01:01 He's a great player.
01:03 From our first week together, I remember talking to him about the roster,
01:07 trying to learn different concepts and stuff.
01:09 And heads were definitely spinning a little bit.
01:11 But it's been fun to see his development, his growth.
01:13 He works super hard.
01:14 It's rewarding for me.
01:18 >> Speaking of Trey and his depth, or growth,
01:21 when you have a legit deep threat like that, do you notice anything in terms of
01:24 defensively, how it kind of keeps teams honest,
01:26 in terms of moving around and disguising stuff?
01:28 >> Yeah, I think, obviously, he's a threat.
01:30 Every time he's on the field, everybody knows about his speed.
01:33 It's no secret.
01:34 And so we try to utilize him as much as we can.
01:37 And he's a really good player.
01:39 He's a smart player, instinctive, and obviously, like you said,
01:42 very just naturally really blessed.
01:46 So it's fun to watch him.
01:48 I wish I could run like that.
01:49 So, but yeah, he's been a dynamic player for us.
01:52 >> Going back to that first game against the Chiefs,
01:54 what were some things that you believe that you did well that you feel like you
01:56 have to continue in this rematch?
01:58 >> Yeah, I think any time you play a team like this,
02:01 you gotta stay within yourself, play one play at a time.
02:03 I think, obviously, there's history between the two teams.
02:07 But I think in any game, you have to lock in on each play,
02:12 each situation, try to stay ahead of the sticks, and just make smart decisions.
02:16 So I know I have to do that to give us an opportunity to win.
02:20 >> One more thing on Trey, and sorry if you talked about it after the game.
02:22 But obviously, a lot happened in that game.
02:24 It was kinda his coming out party with the first two NFL touchdowns.
02:27 You connect with him.
02:28 How happy were you for him on last Thursday?
02:31 >> Yeah, super happy.
02:32 I think it's been a long time coming.
02:33 I think, I'm sure he would have wished it would have happened earlier.
02:37 But I think he's gonna score a lot of touchdowns in this league.
02:40 And so it was awesome to see him succeed and succeed on a big stage like that.
02:45 He deserves it.
02:46 Like I said, he works super hard, studies, works on his body,
02:50 does everything right.
02:51 So it was really cool to see.
02:52 >> My thought was made about Bo being up in the booth last game.
02:56 Does that change anything at all in terms of what you have on the field with him up
03:01 there?
03:02 >> Yeah, I think obviously a little different.
03:04 Used to coming off the sideline and being there.
03:06 But we can have direct communication through a headset or
03:10 through whatever else.
03:11 And so it was definitely a little change.
03:14 They'll get used to, especially at the beginning of the game.
03:16 But once you're playing, you're playing.
03:18 >> You guys all good?
03:21 >> Cool, thank you, guys.
03:21 >> Thanks.
