00:00 I can't even remember how far back.
00:04 >> If you see Zion play a lot, both in Carlton's place and Jamel's place,
00:09 it's one of those nice problems to have.
00:11 But do you know whether you'd stick with two of the three,
00:14 if all three were healthy and available, or if you might rotate that?
00:17 >> I don't really rotate corners.
00:20 You find a way to play the third one, and
00:22 you get him in the ball game cuz he's such a good football player.
00:25 Like I said, it's a good problem to have.
00:27 I'm working on that right now, but I expect to play him, and
00:30 expect to play him quite a bit.
00:32 >> We saw Devin White run out onto the field today.
00:35 How is his foot doing?
00:37 >> His foot's going.
00:39 >> And did you at any point approach him about taking a different role
00:44 on this team, as far as like as a rotational player?
00:47 >> No, when we talked about it, we talked about how he would play and
00:51 how his foot would come back and where he'd go from there.
00:55 >> Is Devin White still captain on this team?
00:58 >> Yes, he is.
00:59 >> You mean the foot injury was gonna cause you to rotate him rather than play
01:04 full time, is that what you're saying?
01:06 >> Okay, they had played great, so we're gonna play him and
01:09 rotate him anyway with him playing.
01:10 But we have enough pain where he can play, and
01:13 we wanna see him at full health and then we kinda go from there.
01:15 >> What was his reaction to that?
01:16 >> It was fine when we talked about it.
01:19 >> He was okay with it?
01:20 >> Yeah. >> He was okay with being a rotational guy?
01:24 >> He was okay with seeing how his foot was and playing him, but
01:26 he's trying to do everything he can to help us win.
01:28 We need him to help us win.
01:30 We got guys that go to him all the time, so we don't need all hands on deck.
01:34 >> Coach, Big Greenfield was the NFC's player of the week,
01:39 certainly one of his best games of his career.
01:42 Just has he done enough in your mind, and I think we talked about this before,
01:48 but we're not at the end of the season yet, but
01:53 there's not much more you would have asked from a guy like this at this point,
01:56 really, coming first year, new coordinator and all that.
01:59 >> He's done a lot for us this year.
02:01 You can't imagine the things you don't see on the field that he's done for
02:06 us from a team standpoint, from a mentality standpoint,
02:09 from a bringing guys together and bringing guys along standpoint.
02:13 Not to mention how well he's been playing of late, especially.
02:16 And you can't say enough about what he's done since he's been here.
02:20 I mean, that's usually hard to fathom, like you said, with the new OC and
02:24 the new quarterback and the new system.
02:26 To come along like that, coming along, it's been great.
02:29 >> What about from a personality standpoint?
02:31 Like when you lose a guy like Tom Brady, a legend, there is a leadership hole,
02:36 even though you have plenty of guys in that locker room that can step up.
02:38 But you need a certain type of personality, right?
02:41 So for Baker to come in there and kind of do what he's done,
02:44 can you just speak to that?
02:46 >> Well, he did what he always does.
02:48 He was himself.
02:49 He wasn't trying to be Tom.
02:51 We didn't have the same team that we had with Tom.
02:54 We have completely different guys for the most part.
02:56 I mean, we have a few guys left over here and there, but
02:59 we revamped our offensive system.
03:01 We revamped most of our offensive people, except for about five maybe.
03:07 And it's a different, you're not gonna replace Tom ever.
03:10 Nobody is.
03:11 He's a legend.
03:12 He'll go down in the Hall of Fame.
03:13 Anybody that comes after Tom, if you play well,
03:16 you're gonna be talked about in a good category, not Tom's category, but
03:20 a good category.
03:20 And if you play bad, well, he's not Tom.
03:22 So he was in a lose-lose from a fan ballot standpoint to begin with.
03:29 And he didn't try to win the fan ballot.
03:30 He just put his head down and he worked, and he won the team over,
03:33 which is what was great about it.
03:34 And he's doing things his way, and we're doing things our way.
03:37 And it's not as pretty as when Tom was here, but we're scrappy, and
03:41 we're pulling them out, and we're getting things done.
03:43 >> So it sounds like you want him to sign an extension to be your quarterback for
03:49 the next couple years.
03:49 I know that's Jason's thing, but I'm sure you're gonna have your say.
03:53 You want him?
03:53 >> I'll deal with all that when the season's over.
03:55 Right now, I'm trying to be Jacksonville.
03:59 But I do love where he's at.
04:00 >> With Levante, David, you
