00:00 [crowd cheering]
00:02 Right lads, listen up.
00:03 Both of you, instruction in the dressing room, you know what we expect.
00:05 Keep the fight clean, obey my commands, and most importantly, lads, protect yourself at all times.
00:10 Shake hands.
00:11 So this may well be a step up tonight for the talented and unbeaten Henry Turner.
00:16 He's in there with Billy Allington, who went 12 rounds with the British champion Dalton Smith earlier in the year.
00:23 He knows how to stay in fights, and has the potential to cause Turner a problem or two in there.
00:29 I know you're looking forward to this one, Ritchie.
00:31 Yeah, this should be a good contest.
00:33 Allington obviously got the age and a bit more experience, but I rate Turner.
00:38 I think he's a lovely boxer, lovely skills.
00:41 So yes, this is a bit of a step up for Turner.
00:45 Allington certainly got the experience, challenged Dalton Smith unsuccessfully for the British title, but nevertheless went 12 rounds.
00:53 So yes, a step up for Turner. I'm looking forward to it.
00:57 Turner in there in the red trunks, trimmed with black, all white with a cross of St George on the back for Billy Allington.
01:03 Turner's discovered his power recently. His first six fights all went the distance, but he stopped the last three opponents he's faced and four of the last five.
01:13 But he'll have his work cut out to stop Allington tonight, who's heard the final bell in all 17 contests to this point.
01:20 Allington's six years older at 29, 11 wins in 17 fights.
01:25 And Turner, the defending champion, has won all 11 with four of them inside the distance.
01:33 That's not enough to watch out for Allington there. The way he just rushed forward, got away with it there.
01:47 But Turner will be hoping for more of those type of attacks where he can bring him on to shots.
01:52 So again, winning against a very skilful side-paw.
01:56 And you've got to watch what you're doing too, that when you're coming over your front foot against him,
02:00 choose your attacks wisely because he'll be waiting to pick you off with those counters, trying to trigger you off and then catch you as you come forward.
02:09 So this one's scheduled for 10 rounds, the WBC International Silver Super Lightweight title.
02:15 On the line, the defending man in there is Henry Turner from Homer Green.
02:22 Turner just waving that southpaw right lead out and then trying to land the right jab.
02:36 Both boxers opening round, Richard.
02:41 Yeah, both boxers just having a look at each other here.
02:45 And with Allington on that back foot, it's more difficult for Turner to set the attacks up.
02:52 If he won't come forward, then Turner is going to have to probably lead off.
02:58 Like I said, Turner will want Allington to come forward.
03:02 Keep him up.
03:04 McCann just telling Henry Turner to keep his punches up.
03:16 Final few seconds of the first round here.
03:19 Turner looking to land with that left hand.
03:28 Doubling up on the southpaw jab and then hearing the bell.
03:33 Who you got next?
03:46 You know, quite frankly, I think this is taking way too long.
03:49 Oh, ladda. Who you got walking it all out?
03:52 That'll be us, Eric. Give any game an epic boost and get up to twice the prize when you build your odds.
03:58 Hey.
04:01 Who you got?
04:03 William Hill. It's who you play with.
04:06 Welcome back to York Hall.
04:16 Having a chat with Henry Turner.
04:20 This is a corner.
04:22 Second time. Round two.
04:30 Twice as many rounds.
04:33 As a professional. Been in the paid ranks three years, yet longer.
04:36 Challenge for that British title against Dalton Smith as well.
04:41 They are then for the second of ten rounds scheduled here at York Hall.
04:45 The co-main event tonight with Mark Chamberlain against Archeon Ramlabs to come
04:50 for the IBF European lightweight title straight after this one.
04:56 First thing, listen to Arjen Smith in the corner of Henry Turner.
04:59 He uses jab a little bit more and tries to trigger his opponent's op.
05:03 So it's a similar situation that we had with Khalid Ali against Mosquera.
05:08 He wanted to come forward.
05:10 So he's doing plenty of work with your lead hand.
05:13 He's trying to get the opponent to come over his front foot.
05:16 Like we said before, that's got to be accurate, that shot.
05:20 Hit the target.
05:22 Make him think that he's losing and he's got to come forward and try and get it back.
05:27 So trigger the opponent's op.
05:30 That's what Arjen Smith's on about when he's saying you've got to work more with your jab.
05:33 And then watch him as he comes over his front foot.
05:36 Turner messing with that left hand.
05:48 He's been pretty good at slipping that punch so far, Allington.
05:52 See Turner's tactics, trying to use that southpaw jab and then quickly whip the left hand in behind him.
05:58 So far, Allington's been good at just moving his head to one side and avoiding that shot as Turner comes in.
06:04 That's good work there from Turner. He's on the outside.
06:07 So Allington again, he's just standing and waiting.
06:10 And Turner then just picked him up with a couple of lovely shots.
06:15 And also he worked well to the body with that jab.
06:18 So that takes the attention then away from that left hand that could come over the top to the head.
06:23 So again, good variety, clever boxing from Turner.
06:28 He's just got to get his timing sorted out again here.
06:32 I think also we have to give Allington credit.
06:39 Fletcher on the back foot, he is awkward and he's difficult to get to.
06:43 But he's got to be a little bit more effective boxing that way, maybe catch Turner as he leads off.
06:48 He has to come back with his own counter, but walked onto a shot there.
06:52 It's came close as well in there.
06:55 The two men came together.
06:57 Finally 30 seconds into the second round.
07:00 Charles cheering that punch that landed from Henry Turner.
07:05 He's been the one having the most success in the opening couple of rounds here.
07:09 Allington being content to box on the back foot up to now.
07:14 Turner constantly poking out that right lead, that southpaw jab.
07:21 You can see as well the feet just started to get a little bit tangled up as well.
07:27 This is often the case when you've got a southpaw against an orthodox fighter in there.
07:31 And there's the bell to end the second round.

07:59 I am.
08:03 The masculine fragrance.
08:04 Invictus by Rabban.
08:06 Welcome back to York Hall.
08:12 That's the perfect shot really to show just how tight and compact this old venue is.
08:18 And in actual fact, Reggie, when you sit here at ringside, it's even more claustrophobic than it looks on there.
08:24 Yeah, it's a great venue, isn't it?
08:26 Round three.
08:28 The best small venue in the country, no question.
08:30 It's the only boxing venue in the United Kingdom where you can readily smell chlorine as well,
08:35 due to the swimming pool that's probably about 20 yards of the crow flies behind the scenes here.
08:41 The third round scheduled for 10 WBC International silver super lightweight title between Henry Turner
08:48 defending his belt for the third time in the red and black trunks against Billy Allington from Engelman Surrey in the white.
08:56 I think you've given the first couple of rounds here, Reggie, on your card to Henry Turner.
09:00 Yeah, Henry Turner's won the first couple of rounds.
09:02 He's impressed me more.
09:04 He's done better work.
09:05 There's a patient look about him, which I like Henry Turner.
09:08 And oh, that was a lovely, lovely screw shot there.
09:12 Sort of lead screw shot was a super punch from him.
09:16 Yeah, there's a nice patient look about his work.
09:18 The accuracy there with a couple of good shots.
09:23 Turner's been the man to this point. He's landed the better punches in there as well.
09:26 He's landed a greater volume, but the classiest stuff has come from him.
09:30 Allington's problem to this point is he's been happy to box on the defensive,
09:36 but at some stage he's got to try and find a way to come clear as well.
09:39 Exactly. So he's not been effective enough on the back foot.
09:42 He's avoiding a few shots here and there, and he's difficult to actually catch with a punch.
09:47 But he's got to score himself.
09:49 His problem's going to lie here. If he keeps this style up,
09:53 it's going to be picked off at range, because eventually Turner does get through with punches.
09:58 Then he's going to have to come forward to try and land his own punches
10:02 and be effective on the front foot.
10:04 That's when he's going to have the problem, because Turner then will be hoping for that,
10:08 and he'll bring him onto shots.
10:09 You see there, that isn't too far away.
10:11 So Allington's not very effective on his front foot,
10:14 and he's going to walk onto shots.
10:16 So he's got problems in there as Allington.
10:18 Turner just starting to find a bit more rhythm here.
10:21 So he's allowed a few more punches in there towards the final minute of the third round.
10:25 He's known as the Shogun because his family are funfair people.
10:29 He used to travel the country as a child with his family to various fairs,
10:32 which is the family business.
10:34 His fiancée's family own Bonne N' Appel, and Turner has a churro stall on there,
10:39 which he says that he operates in the summer,
10:41 when he's not completely concentrating on his boxing,
10:44 but he's conducting his business in there tonight here at York Hall.
10:49 So both are really thinking about it, correct they are.
11:00 They work each other out.
11:02 Allington, as he's coming forward there, just leaving himself open a little bit.
11:06 Turner, Aku with his lead hand.
11:09 But as Allington keeps coming forward,
11:13 he will prefer that, and the referee's not happy here.
11:18 So Paul McCann with instructions to both of them.

16:56 to listen in, because he was box office Steve Woodbine.
16:59 He was fabulous and he really got Nathan Healy over the line.
17:03 It was a tremendous performance from Nathan Healy as well as Steve Woodbine.
17:09 It was a great double act. A fantastic performance.
17:13 A fantastic relationship between the pair of them.
17:16 Congratulations to Nathan Healy on winning that British title.
17:19 This is the WBC International Silver Super Lightweight title.
17:22 He's being defended by Henry Turner tonight. Alan Smith's there in between rounds.
17:26 He just wants him to be a little bit more patient when he throws that left hand behind the right jab.
17:31 Again, Allington just holds that left hand in the air.
17:40 Turner continues just to jab away at it.
17:42 He's touching it with his southpaw lead.
17:45 There's a bit of a chess match in there at the moment.
17:48 Allington just heard one of his cornermen saying, "You're waiting."
17:52 They want him to go forward, but it's easier said than done.
17:56 That's not too bad there. That was a good shot from Allington downstairs for the body.
18:00 He knows he only has to make a mistake and he's going to get caught.
18:05 He's reluctant to come forward. Probably needs a few feints as well.
18:09 Try and trigger. Do the mirror image of what Turner's doing there.
18:14 Trying to trigger him off, but that's a better shot there from Turner.
18:18 A really good left hand. That is exactly what Alan Smith was calling for.
18:21 He's just trying to give it a rhythm in this round.
18:24 Turner, fifth round scheduled for ten. The crowd getting into it now.
18:28 It's the kind of arena with the crowd so close to the ring that when things do start to escalate in there,
18:34 the crowd very quickly become engaged.
18:37 Better shot there from Allington.
18:41 He got his timing spot on there.
18:46 Triggered Turner off and caught him as he's coming forward.
18:49 So that was better from him.
18:51 Inside the final minute of the fifth round.
18:59 Henry Turner continues to be the dominant man in there.
19:03 He just caught Allington a little bit open as he came in.
19:14 So that's what Allington's waiting for. Waiting for Turner to come forward so he can bring him onto that right hand.
19:18 But what he needs to do is trigger Turner off.
19:21 Make him come forward. Trigger him off with a feint.
19:24 That's what he needs.
19:26 Turner's clever. Just doesn't come willy-nilly over that front foot.
19:32 Turner trying to land that left hand. There's a little bit of reckoning on the...
19:42 left cheek of Billy Allington and there's the bell to end the fifth round.
19:46 He did a little bit better in this round. I don't think he's done enough to win the round.
20:06 There's that body shot from Allington.
20:09 He threw it from way far out but he landed the shot. This is towards the end of the round then.
20:13 Look at that lovely long range work there from Turner.
20:15 It's the target.
20:17 Well that's the way that Richie has it after five rounds.
20:23 He's given the first five to Henry Turner.
20:26 Indicates there's a fair deal of work here for Billy Allington to do.
20:29 At some stage, Richie, he's got to change his tactics a little bit because if he continues to box like this,
20:34 Turner's going to continue to win the round.
20:36 Exactly. So that may even present Turner with more opportunities.
20:40 But Allington's got to do something different because he's losing the contest.
20:43 I mentioned that Turner's not been beaten as a professional but he lost to Mark Chamberlain
20:48 who tops the bill tonight as an amateur.
20:50 Only lost four times though in 60 fights before turning over.
20:54 And he's made this impressive and unbeaten start to life in the page ranks.
20:59 He's hoping for a British title shot by the end of next year.
21:03 And he says he's taking steps all the time, working his way forward.
21:07 It's a good learning fight for him again tonight as well though, Richie,
21:11 against a tough opponent, an awkward man in there in Billy Allington.
21:14 So it's a good night all round really for Turner in terms of what he may learn in there.
21:19 And he's winning the fight to this point although there's still plenty of work to do.
21:23 Just the accuracy, just to lose him in there.
21:27 So here we've got shots over the shoulder of Allington.
21:31 Who is a difficult man to pin down with a shot.
21:34 I suppose you can see more from Allington.
21:37 A few punches in that last round, he was better.
21:43 I don't think he did enough to win the round but nevertheless he found the target of the
21:46 puppet with more encouragement.
21:48 He's just been a little bit too far out for me.
21:53 [crowd noise]
21:55 Turner pacing, waiting for the opportunity to come where he can throw the left
22:09 halfway through the sixth.
22:11 Allington just off target as he came lunging in.
22:16 [crowd noise]
22:18 It's tough at this stage, Richie, to see what kind of fight Allington's trying to fight.
22:28 Because when they get close like that, everybody just gets tied up together.
22:32 There's not really been much of a strategy by way of how he's going to land scoring punches to this stage.
22:38 He's starting to land the upshot here and there as Turner's coming forward.
22:42 But I agree, Fletch, because he's having plenty of opportunities when they get up close
22:47 but he's not taking those opportunities.
22:49 So on the inside, short range stuff, he's not doing it.
22:53 And Turner, significantly the busier of the two in there.
23:02 30 seconds to go in this sixth and just cuffed Allington as he came in with that right hook.
23:07 [crowd noise]
23:10 Stay there, stay there.
23:12 Turner lands the right lead.
23:20 Allington continues to wait for the opening.
23:25 Every time, the more he does this, Richie, the more rounds tick by on the Henry turnaround.
23:33 Not a lot happening is there. If anything, it's just slightly better work from Turner.
23:38 This has been a slower round. Both boxers, but again, Turner probably landing just the better shots overall.
23:44 [crowd noise]
23:46 So the final preparations backstage for Mark Chamberlain.
23:56 He's going to defend his IBF European lightweight title against the Latvian Archons Ramlabs.
24:03 He's a puncher, Chamberlain, and he might just be on a collision course
24:07 with Sam Noakes who tops the bill here at York Hall next week.
24:11 And there's Ramlabs on the pads in his dressing room.
24:16 And they're quite echoey, the dressing rooms here, so it does not make a good sound when he lands one.
24:20 Superb. You wouldn't want to be up with one of them.
24:23 I think you'd take it far better than me.
24:29 [crowd noise]
24:32 Seconds out, round seven.
24:41 So round seven.
24:43 [bell rings]
24:44 Four to go.
24:46 By Richie's card at this stage, Henry Turner's got an extremely healthy lead.
24:51 Yeah, I think for me, difficult to give an intellectual round.
24:56 He's done better in some of the rounds, but not enough to win them from here.
25:00 Turner looking to counter with that right lead as he came in from the southpaw stance.
25:08 Sometimes you get a fight where the styles gel, and it makes for a very entertaining contest.
25:23 And sometimes you get one like this where they seem to counteract each other.
25:27 Yes, indeed. I think Allenton, when he's on the outside, he realises that Henry Turner, you know,
25:34 he's not struggling to hit him, but he's finding it more difficult when Allenton is on the outside.
25:40 And Allenton knows that. It's just that when Allenton's coming forward, he's not effective enough for me.
25:45 And when they get up close, there's not a lot coming from him at all.
25:49 He needs to probably double up his attack rather than a single attack.
25:53 And the quality of his punching and work just isn't up to what Turner's is. Not at this stage anyway.
26:00 Turner looking to pop out that jab. Allenton looking to counter when he comes in, halfway through the seventh.
26:16 Every round's taken a familiar pattern, really.
26:19 And Allenton just being caught by that right hand as he was slightly off balance.
26:22 And Turner looking to dig to the body.
26:24 Good shot by Turner, best punch in the fight. Long left hand.
26:29 Just stood Allenton up on momentarily. That was a really nice shot. Well timed.
26:33 Yes, best shot in the contest so far, I would say. Lovely and clean there from Turner.
26:37 Backs off a little bit, but that was a good punch, and you'll still be feeling the effects of that, Allenton.
26:43 Allenton responds well there, Ritchie, with the left hand of his own.
26:46 Gets the claws from his corner. Final minute of the seventh. More action in this one.
26:51 Good work there from Turner. What he probably needs to do now as well,
26:56 is probably bring the left uppercut into play when Allenton's actually coming forward.
27:00 Allenton tends to rush forward and you can walk onto that shot.
27:04 There was a little right on the inside there from Turner.
27:07 Didn't travel very far, but it caught him flush coming in, didn't it, Allenton?
27:11 That's it, Richard.
27:39 Allenton charging in, and Turner was ready for that, ready to counter, and there's the bell.
27:44 There's that left hand from Turner. The best shot, probably, of the contest so far.
27:58 Nice and clean, then he gets back out to that safety zone, or tries to.
28:03 Allenton just held on momentarily there, but that was a good punch.
28:06 That was a good punch.
28:07 A bit of damage there underneath the left eye, and Billy Allenton.
28:17 A bit of a graze.
28:19 Warner! Ten seconds!
28:33 Take the pressure, alright?
28:34 Any pancies, miss.
28:36 Seconds are up.
28:38 Round eight!
28:41 So this is the first time that Turner's been into the eighth round.
28:45 The furthest he's been before tonight was the seventh round stoppage here at York Hall in February of last year.
28:51 Allenton's got the experience of distance fights.
28:54 He went the full twelve against Smith for the British title.
28:57 And has the greater experience in general.
29:00 So uncharted waters as a professional from this point for Henry Turner.
29:05 Yes, maybe, but the pace has suited Turner.
29:09 I think it's been a fairly slow pace, hasn't it?
29:11 So he hasn't been to the ten rounds before, he's quite right in their fletch.
29:15 But, you know, the pace isn't really troubling him anyway.
29:18 He's controlled things, he's controlled his opponent in terms of the tempo and the pace of the contest.
29:25 Kieran McCann, the referee, feeling the need to speak to both men again.
29:31 This is the second time he's done this in the fight.
29:33 The second time he's been here, he's been talking about the eight-pack of a professional.
29:37 He's not happy about something coming together.
29:42 He's started to swell a little bit under the left eye of Allenton as well, where he's been taking that right jab.
29:59 He's got to go, he's got to go.
30:01 Turner slightly sharper in that.
30:19 Allenton in his own corner at the moment, looking to fight his way off.
30:34 Allenton again just sitting and waiting.
30:43 Here comes Turner with the counter.
30:46 As Turner comes forward.
30:49 That's what he's doing there, those little feints you see.
30:52 He wants Turner to trigger Turner off.
30:55 Turner patient, doesn't make that mistake.
30:59 He leads with that lead hand.
31:02 He's been well schooled, Turner.
31:06 He's Allenton too patient in there, Richie, because if I keep listening to his corner and they say, "Look, wait for this, wait for that."
31:12 The more he waits, the more points Turner's piling up in there.
31:15 The more scoring shots he's landing in the front.
31:18 They want him to wait, but they want him to catch Turner as he's coming forward.
31:21 You see, he's just missing there, you see, with the shots.
31:24 So I understand that they're trying to get over to their boxer.
31:29 Wait, trigger him off and catch him as he's coming forward.
31:33 But he hasn't really done that.
31:35 I understand the tactic and when it works, it works.
31:39 But it just hasn't been that balanced with his work with Bez as an example there.
31:44 Well, the better counterpunch in there coming from Henry Turner as Allenton tries to mount his own attack.
31:49 Final three seconds here in the eighth round.
31:52 Every round's got to end a bit better, okay?
32:10 When you're only inside, don't try and lift your hands up.
32:12 Just keep them natural, where they're going to be.
32:14 You're trying to show the referee that you're not holding.
32:17 Well, that's the way Richie's seeing it at the moment.
32:22 The eighth round, a 10-10 round.
32:25 So he's given all eight rounds to Henry Turner.
32:28 The eighth, a drawn round at 10-10.
32:31 But he's a mile behind. He needs a stoppage from here.
32:34 Billy Allenton, it's the unofficial card.
32:37 Of course, the three judges at ringside, Kevin Parker, Marcus McDonald and Mark Bates,
32:43 they're the important men.
32:44 But I don't think there'll be too much of a discrepancy between the way they're seeing it and the way you are.
32:48 It just kind of highlights how dominant Turner's been.
32:51 Without making it look like a dominant performance, he could get one of them.
32:54 I just thought with Allenton being behind early on in the contest,
33:01 the first four or five rounds, most certainly,
33:03 then he would change his tactics and he'd come forward a little bit more.
33:07 Because he had to do something different.
33:09 But he hasn't really done that.
33:10 He's trying to catch Turner in the counters, but he's not been that effective.
33:15 An open round is on schedule for 10.
33:21 WBC International silver, super lightweight belt on the line.
33:25 Henry Turner defending it for the fourth time.
33:28 Allenton continues to wait, Richard.
33:30 Yeah.
33:31 Turner's not taking the bait.
33:34 You see he's not coming over that bump, but there he's just come forward.
33:38 That's where he's been really good.
33:44 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:45 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:46 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:47 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:48 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:49 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:50 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:51 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:52 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:53 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:54 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:55 He's got a lot of confidence.
33:56 That's where he's been really good tonight.
33:57 Well, he has committed himself, Allenton.
33:59 He's been caught on the counter superbly by Turner.
34:01 Yeah, you see, same old, isn't it, for Allenton?
34:05 Waiting, pushing forward occasionally.
34:08 Really good.
34:10 We're looking at tackling, not sustaining the pressure.
34:12 If we turn them a little bit more.
34:25 You can see, with this turn, I mean,
34:27 Turner hasn't been that turned around before,
34:29 but the pace has suited his style.
34:31 Down to the ground, really.
34:33 Still looks nice and fresh in there, doesn't he?
34:35 Looks like there's plenty of attack halfway through the night.
34:38 He could probably do 20 rounds like this, Turner.
34:42 Certainly at this pace.
34:46 Yeah, exactly.
34:48 This pace is no real problem for him.
34:50 Absolutely.
34:51 Allenton looking to try and let the punches go,
35:11 but there's not been a great deal of infighting in situations like that.
35:14 They've just become tangled up straight away.
35:16 I mean, both of them haven't been effective on the inside.
35:19 Short to mid range.
35:22 They've both tied each other up, so...
35:29 You know, one of the problems Allenton's had,
35:35 he's been at long range, then he rushes in,
35:38 but then there's nothing really to back that up
35:40 when he gets on the inside there.
35:42 It's been a holding match.
35:46 Three counts, three counts.
35:47 There you go again.
35:51 Turner trying to throw punches on the inside,
35:59 and there's the bell to end the night.
36:01 What you don't want to do is have a war between these men.
36:14 What you want to do is let them run on,
36:15 you're catching them up one to one.
36:17 Very simple, basic stuff.
36:18 Your body shots are great.
36:20 You time it a little bit better.
36:21 You come to him square.
36:23 Just time that and look for more.
36:24 Allenton, last round.
36:32 When you get close, you've just got to start pumping him in.
36:35 Miss that first shot now on purpose,
36:37 and then just put both hands into him.
36:39 Both hands.
36:40 Don't lose your composure.
36:41 When you step first, you'll keep both hands pumping
36:43 all the way through the ring.
36:44 Corner, ten seconds.
36:47 Seconds out, ten, and final round.
36:55 So the final round, and by Richie Woodall's card,
37:01 Billy Allenton needs to find a big punch in this round.
37:05 He's got Henry Turner an absolute mile ahead.
37:09 Any fighter's got to come out with a real sense of urgency
37:12 here in the final round, Richie.
37:14 It's the challenge of Billy Allenton.
37:16 Yeah, he needs a knockout to win this, no question.
37:18 I think Henry Turner's way ahead.
37:21 The judges may have it closer than the line,
37:24 and he's got it, but for me,
37:26 he's winning the contest quite easily to be quite honest with you.
37:33 He's way ahead for me.
37:35 [whistle]
37:36 Allenton Ward again, but just pulling down on the back of Henry Turner.
37:57 That's been a bugbear of Kieran McCann, the referee, throughout.
38:01 [crowd noise]
38:03 Allenton has to find something from somewhere.
38:09 Yeah, he's just got to go for it now, Allenton.
38:13 He'll go for him, and there you go, comes forward.
38:16 And again, tight, chin up on the inside.
38:19 But yes, the urgency has got to be with him.
38:23 And it is, fair play to him, he's starting to go forward now, Allenton.
38:29 Halfway through the final round.
38:31 A little bit of damage around the eye of Henry Turner,
38:36 the left eye, there's a cut there for Turner,
38:38 which has appeared in this final round.
38:41 Nice little right hand there from Allenton.
38:43 Turner came forward there with a sloppy jab, gets caught.
38:48 I wonder whether it was caused by a punch or,
38:53 the heads are very, very close when they come clattering into each other like that.
38:56 A minute to go in the final round.
39:00 There's the damage to the eye of Henry Turner.
39:05 There's always a clash with the two front feet,
39:09 and occasionally lead to head clashes as well,
39:13 as they come forward, it's been scrappy.
39:15 It's been awful on the inside,
39:17 I don't think there's been any clean work from either boxer on the inside to be quite honest.
39:21 So, they've both been poor in that department.
39:24 As we mentioned earlier tonight, sometimes styles make fights,
39:28 and sometimes styles can lead to a fight like this,
39:31 which has been scrappy for large periods.
39:34 Final 20 seconds, Allenton tries to throw the big left hand,
39:38 whirled on by his corner.
39:40 Turner looking for counter, Allenton as he comes in.
39:51 And there's the final bell.
39:53 Well, it wasn't a classic by any stretch of the imagination,
39:57 but you'd be very, very surprised if Henry Turner hasn't won the fight by quite a wide margin.
40:02 Yeah, I think he's won it by a wide margin.
40:05 As you said there, I thought he started the contest well,
40:10 controlling the pace, controlling the distance between himself and Allenton.
40:14 There's a bit of damage on both sides of the ring,
40:16 that's mainly because of the head clashes.
40:18 But as the contest went on, there wasn't a lot of difference in the work,
40:22 the rate from Allenton.
40:24 He had the options, but he didn't choose to use them.
40:28 Poor on the inside, and just couldn't get to grips with Henry Turner at distance.
40:34 Well, that's the way Richie scored it, 99-92.
40:37 He actually gave the last round to Billy Allenton,
40:39 which is the only round that he's won in the last two years.
40:42 99-92, he actually gave the last round to Billy Allenton,
40:45 which is the only round that Richie gave him tonight.
40:48 He scored 10-10 round in number 8,
40:51 but that's a wide margin victory for judges.
40:55 Kevin Parker, Marcus McDonnell and Mark Bates have seen it that way.
40:59 Bit of damage to that left eye as well for Henry Turner,
41:03 which will be disappointing for him at the end of the fight.
41:06 All smiles at the end between the two of them.
41:10 Bit of damage, and it turned out quite a scrappy fight in the end, Fletch.
41:16 But obviously Henry Turner going 10 rounds for the first time,
41:23 so that's another box ticked against an experienced man in Billy Allenton,
41:29 but for me there's only one winner here.
41:31 Looks pretty confident in there, doesn't he?
41:36 Henry Turner.
41:39 Just waiting for the judges' cards to be collected,
41:42 just to reiterate, Kevin Parker, Marcus McDonnell and Mark Bates,
41:47 the three men scoring the fight in there tonight.
41:50 Rather a snazzy jacket that he's got on as well,
41:53 you can see why they call him the showman, Henry Turner.
41:56 OK, I think we're ready.
41:57 Dev Sarni can tell us who's won the fight.
42:01 Ladies and gentlemen, after 10 rounds of boxing,
42:05 we go to the judges' scorecards.
42:08 All three judges score this contest 97-93
42:14 for your winner by unanimous decision...
42:18 ..and still WBC International City of London,
42:25 and still WBC International Silver Superlightweight Champion,
42:33 the showman, Henry Turner!
42:41 So Henry Turner retains the WBC International Silver...
