00:00 Crowds estimated at 100,000 filled several streets of Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela City on Saturday.

00:08 For the first time, the annual Metro Manila Film Festival Parade of Stars made its way to the Camanava area

00:14 starting at Navotas Centennial Park and ending at Valenzuela People's Park.

00:30 Lucky fans got to see actors from the 10 MMFF entries, among them megastar Sharon Coneta

00:36 and heartthrob Alden Richards of the mother and son film, Family of Two.

00:40 I was like a fan doing the film, it's a waste because I wish I was more like that.

00:45 I lost my mom 15 years ago and by the time I wanted to make up, it's too late.

00:49 Powerhouse couple Ding Dong Dantes and Marian Rivera, better known as Dong Yan, also wowed the crowd

00:55 with their big screen comeback called Rewind.

00:58 Each parade float gave a glimpse of what audiences can expect from the movies.

01:02 The float for Kampon, top-billed by Derek Ramsey and Beauty Gonzalez, featuring what looked like a horror carousel.

01:09 The one for Alessandra De Rossi's heartwarming drama Firefly featured a massive book.

01:13 It's super beautiful. I like the book. The book in the back. Because it's really about the story of Tong Tong and her journey.

01:22 With no shades on their floats, the stars braved the hot and humid weather.

01:27 It's so hot right now, so I'm not really excited.

01:31 We brought a lot of towels.

01:34 Various roads along the parade route saw heavy traffic as some parts were closed for the event.

01:39 We helped them so that there wouldn't be too much traffic here.

01:46 We diverted the traffic.

01:48 We talked about that. People are happy.

01:52 So I think we can minimize the complaints.

01:54 Pinoys can start watching the MMFF entry starting December 25, with the festival running until January 7.
