00:03 >> You guys, whenever you're ready.
00:04 [BLANK_AUDIO]
00:07 >> Aiden, tremendous performance by you tonight.
00:10 I'm curious what happened, I mean, I know that AP talked to you this week and
00:15 I don't know, talk about what he said, what happened and how this team responded.
00:20 With a record, no team's gone from zero to 63 points in NFL history.
00:24 >> Yeah, I think just super proud of our guys really for executing well.
00:28 I think we were almost spared to have a short week here, so
00:32 we couldn't really think about what happened.
00:34 We had to move on, just got to move on from everything that happened on Sunday.
00:40 It was great for us and to be able to do this is pretty awesome.
00:43 It was really, every phase did a really good job and
00:47 it was really fun to watch and fun to be a part of.
00:49 [BLANK_AUDIO]
00:52 >> Aiden, LTL, QD Sports Team,
00:56 let's talk about the offensive line tonight, how they gave you so
00:59 much time to talk about it.
01:01 >> Yeah, like you said, they did an awesome job.
01:03 We did, both did a great job of switching up, getting the ball in my hands quick and
01:08 also trying to call, obviously, some shots.
01:10 And it was a great job by everybody involved, especially the offensive line.
01:15 They fought their butts off.
01:17 Again, we score points like that, they're not the ones scoring touchdowns,
01:20 they're just doing the dirty work.
01:21 So super proud, we had obviously some new guys in there as well.
01:24 So really, they really led the way tonight.
01:27 >> It was a great job by everybody.
01:29 >> Aiden, two quick questions for me.
01:30 Number one, down two starters on that offensive line.
01:35 Can you talk about the performance of the guys next man up?
01:37 >> Yeah, I think it is that exactly.
01:40 And I think we've been trying to do that all year.
01:43 Coaches have done a great job.
01:46 Coach Karma's done a great job preparing those guys in practice and
01:49 just throughout the week to be ready to go.
01:53 So like you said, it's next man up.
01:55 Guys have to step up when their number is called and
01:58 those guys didn't blink, so super proud of those guys.
02:00 >> I talked to you this week about AP telling us that he wanted to attack down,
02:04 and you certainly did tonight.
02:05 Will you talk about what happened that you guys, that was able to happen?
02:10 I know it was the mindset before tonight, but
02:12 what happened that it clicked tonight?
02:14 >> Yeah, I think sometimes the star is just a line.
02:18 And Trey's first touchdown, it was just really a perfect play call.
02:22 Something, the look that we wanted is the one we got.
02:24 And so, both did a great job of working hard to try to get that look and
02:28 call the play at the right time.
02:29 And so, like I said, it's a group effort.
02:32 Both called a great play, offensive line protected.
02:34 Trey did a great job and the rest of the guys did as well.
02:38 So it's fun when everything comes together like that.
02:41 >> Tonight, you said you had a quick turnaround, so
02:44 that kind of helped you guys off Sunday.
02:46 How important was it to get that lead though, to kind of jump on them and
02:50 kind of take their spirit out of it pretty quickly?
02:52 >> Yeah, I think we've been, aside of last week, doing a good job of starting fast.
02:56 And I think to be able to on both sides of the ball really start fast this game.
03:01 And offensive score and defense hold and get turnovers, I think it's just huge.
03:06 It feeds your confidence when you know the other side of the ball is playing well.
03:09 And so it was, like I said, a full team effort.
03:12 Starting fast is really important, but you gotta maintain it, and
03:14 I thought we did that.
03:18 >> Hey, can you talk about the chemistry between yourself and
03:22 your rookie counterparts, Trey Tucker and Michael Mayer, and
03:25 how you guys have continued to develop and build that connection?
03:28 [INAUDIBLE]
03:31 >> Yeah, I think obviously those guys, I came in with those guys and
03:35 we were even talking today and yesterday about how far we've come and
03:39 how different it is now compared to what it was when we first got here and
03:42 in training camp and stuff.
03:43 And the NFL is really hard and it's hard in your first year.
03:46 So to be able to go through with those guys and
03:49 share similar experiences have been awesome.
03:50 They both work super hard, they stay late.
03:54 I throw the tray after practice all the time.
03:56 Mike's always in the facility getting work, watching film.
03:59 And so it's really fun to see both those guys succeed.
04:01 >> Jacoby had a QB rating of 131 tonight.
04:06 Is he now an honorary member of the quarterback group this week?
04:10 >> I definitely think so.
04:11 I think it was even before tonight.
04:14 Copes can really throw the ball.
04:17 Sometimes we try to tell him not to because it makes us look a little bad, but
04:20 he can roll the bed and spin it and throw it pretty far.
04:23 So yeah, Copes, the one double pass, it wasn't supposed to be like that.
04:29 And him and Tay just made a play.
04:31 I mean, yeah, those guys are pretty fun to watch.
04:34 It's pretty special just watching guys like that play football.
04:37 >> Eden, you mentioned after the loss, you still had a straight up loss.
04:42 You mentioned you still had your confidence.
04:44 And I'm wondering, a game like this,
04:46 what does tonight do to validate the kind of growth you've had this season?
04:51 >> Yeah, I think you try not to get too high, try not to get too low.
04:54 This week, Jimmy actually did really help me a lot.
04:59 We had some good discussions about just what the NFL is, how hard it is every week,
05:04 how hard it is to bounce back after a game like that.
05:06 But it's week to week, anything can happen.
05:10 And so I got great guys in my corner, Brian and Jimmy, both super supportive,
05:14 that are helping me just kind of tread through the waters here in my first year.
05:18 [BLANK_AUDIO]
05:24 >> Aiden, can you talk about the crowd tonight?
05:26 I mean, they were electric.
05:27 I think it's probably one of the best crowds since you've been here, at least.
05:30 Could you discuss the crowd and the fans, please?
05:32 >> Yeah, I think for the fans, after what happened on Sunday, to come back out and
05:36 show their support.
05:37 And it was like four minutes left, and we were obviously up big, and
05:41 it was a third down in the red zone.
05:43 And the Chargers were on offense, and I just looked around,
05:45 I'm like, how are this many people still here and being this loud?
05:48 And so it's just, we have awesome support from our fans.
05:51 Like I said, especially they come off a tough week, we appreciate them a lot.
05:55 And they were rowdy from the get-go.
05:57 >> Anything else?
06:00 Cool, thanks. >> Thanks, guys.
